"Dark Elf Empress, I need you to help me with something."
On the second floor of the luxurious palace, Litia arrived at a small wooden house surrounded by a jungle and knocked on the bamboo and firewood door.
"I've told you many times, just call me Sylvie. I am no longer the Empress of the Elves."
A cold, proud voice came from within the bamboo house. Accompanied by a gentle breeze, the door slowly opened, and Litia walked straight inside.
"It's rare for you to come to me. What do you need? I've been diligently guarding the second floor of the palace as promised."
With pointed ears and a face that was both sharp and alluring, Sylvie's slender waist, flat stomach, and cute navel, all under a thin white veil, created a perfect devilish figure.
Her bust was also outlined in a smooth curve by the fabric.
Such a devilish figure was mesmerizing at first glance.
However, even her seductive body and expression could not obscure the naturally exuded holiness and untouchable aura.
Sylvie, the Dark Elf Empress, was once a great queen of the Elves and a goddess worshipped by them. Due to certain reasons, she fell to darkness, her heart filled with negative emotions, and she ultimately became a demon, losing the divine authority to lead the Elves.
Yet even as a demon, her every move still carried the noble elegance of a goddess and an untouchable sacred aura.
The demonic allure and divine sanctity were perfectly fused in her.
Now, she had become one of Litia's most capable subordinates, commanding the second floor of the palace.
Even without her divine powers, her strength was still enough to sweep any intruders into an endless storm, turning them to dust.
"I remember you are skilled in divination and detection magic, right? I need you to help me investigate something."
Litia sat down opposite Sylvie and said.
"Of course, but before that, I have something to ask you."
Sylvie raised her head, her originally holy and gentle face suddenly changing to show a cold and sharp gaze.
"Litia, you promised me. There would be no male members in the palace. That was the condition for me to become your subordinate."
"Ah, are you still not cured of your aversion to men?"
Litia sighed in frustration.
One reason the Dark Elf Empress was willing to work under Litia and bring the dark elf demons under her rule was because she had agreed to Sylvie's condition of keeping men out.
"All men are scum! They speak sweet words and make grand promises, but once their goals are achieved, they turn their backs!"
Sylvie, the Dark Elf Empress, gritted her teeth and said.
"While I have no intention of correcting your views, is it really fair to condemn all men because of one scumbag?"
Even Litia, a great witch, couldn't tolerate Sylvie's extreme viewpoint.
Not even the witch of feminine fury, who wielded the power of female rage, was this extreme.
"Litia, you haven't been in a relationship. When you are deceived and discarded by a scumbag, you will understand how ridiculous men are."
Sylvie complained, her breasts heaving, her gaze full of resentment and coldness.
"The scumbag who deceived you, I remember you said was a human lord named what, Morning Star?"
"Yes. He deceived my feelings, used me to forge a divine-level wedding ring [Elven Monarch's Jade Love Ring], and then disappeared."
As Sylvie spoke, the cold light in her eyes and her icy words seemed to freeze the entire space.
"Hmph, men!" Sylvie's perfectly voluptuous body leaned against the bamboo chair as she let out a cold laugh.
"Litia, I don't care about the rest or what you, as a witch, want to do. But I have clearly sensed the presence of a man in this palace, and it has never disappeared!"
"Your senses are pretty sharp. But when he invaded, how come none of you noticed?" Litia complained.
Her five capable subordinates each guarding a floor, and yet none of them noticed that a human man had intruded into her private quarters?
What am I keeping you for?
"An intruder?"
"In my perception, the unpleasant male presence suddenly appeared in your private area, Litia. I thought it was someone you brought back secretly."
Sylvie showed surprise.
"Currently, the situation is quite complex. I can't do much about the intruder for now. Fortunately, he is one of ours and has no hostility. I will try to keep him in my domain and not let him into the second floor of the palace."
"Hang in there; I won't let him stay too long."
Litia could only make vague promises without revealing the matter of the Evil God's envoy.
"What kind of person could cause you trouble? Could it be some demon king or abyss baron?"
"As witches above all demons, how could we fear such lowly beings?" Litia smiled disdainfully.
In the eyes of witches, so-called demon kings or abyss barons are merely weaklings on the same level as human lords.
"So, what kind of man could make you feel troubled?" Sylvie appeared puzzled.
"This involves many secrets and confidential matters of the demon race, which I cannot reveal."
"However, if you don't believe me, you can try to expel him yourself. If you succeed, I will award you a great achievement. Capturing the goddess currently ruling the Elves is not impossible either, you know?"
Litia made an enticing offer.
She did this mainly to let her subordinates experience the terrifying aspect of Wu Chen. Otherwise, they would certainly question why she kept a seemingly weak human in the witch's palace.
"Are you serious?"
Upon hearing this, Sylvie's delicate body trembled slightly.
Since her fall to the demon race and the loss of her divine powers, her beloved Elves had been controlled by another goddess.
Under that harmonious goddess, the population of the Elves had dramatically declined, almost to the brink of extinction. Completely defeating this goddess had always been her wish.
It was also the main reason she chose to work under a witch.
Because only witches could defeat the goddesses!
"When have I ever gone back on my word? I am different from those ugly, despicable, lying humans."
Litia said disdainfully.
"Alright! If I get the chance, I will definitely give it a try. I want to see what kind of man can make you, Litia, the great witch, feel troubled!"
Wu Chen: Danger!
