KUROGANE brought them to the hospital.
It was already evening, 6PM, as they went to the lobby.
Reluctantly, the nurse at the reception desk looked at Kazuki solemnly. Everyone knew his mother was well loved for her friendly mature and for her obvious affection towards her son made the nurse's tasks even harder
but she answered nonetheless ...
She sighed and uttered her words that Kazuki wished he never heard.
"... W-we've been trying to call you.. your mother... She.. she died 3PM in the afternoon, w-we tried to contact you but we can't.. you didn't answer, Her body was now in the morgue."
Kazuki felt a cold fist clench around his heart and Aya gasped, while Kurogane's face was a mask of stoicism, seemingly unfazed at the turmoil around.
"Kazuki.." Aya called, she took a step closer to him.
'My mother? Deceased?'
