Chereads / SEDUCTION FOR REDEMPTION / Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

I had planned to wake up early the next morning to slip away unnoticed while everyone was still asleep. To ensure I got a good head start, I went to bed early.

However, my plan was foiled when a sudden splash of water woke me up. I jolted out of bed, furious at being interrupted. I hated it when people disturbed my sleep. In a fit of rage, I grabbed a nearby vase, ready to lash out at the culprit. But just as I raised it, I snapped back to reality.

That's when I saw him - a young man with a hint of maturity, dressed in all black. He was breathtakingly handsome, with chiseled features that left me speechless. I couldn't tear my eyes away from him; he was the most stunning person I had ever laid eyes on.

As I stood there, transfixed, I felt a sudden jolt of pain in my jaw. He had grasped it firmly, his eyes glinting with a cold intensity. "Are you trying to seduce me?" he asked, his voice dripping with frost. "I wouldn't mind ravishing you right here, right now," he added, his words sending a shiver down my spine. In an instant, my admiration for his beauty turned to fear.

"Who are you?" I asked, hastily backing away and unintentionally landing on the bed.

"You dare ask that?" His eyes darkened, and he sneered, "Should I remind you, elder sister?" He suddenly loomed over me, forcing me to lie back on the bed, supporting my weight on my shoulders.Sister, since when?

As he traced his fingers along my jaw, a shiver ran down my spine. I didn't like his touch, so I slapped his hand away.

"Don't touch me," I warned. But he just laughed, and the sound sent chills down my spine.

His smile was cold and creepy, like something from a nightmare.

"You're becoming quite daring," he said, his voice dripping with malice. Suddenly, he grabbed my hand and dragged me into the bathroom.

He threw me into the shower and turned on the water. The cold liquid hit me like a slap, making me tremble and choke as I tried to shout for him to stop. I tried to get up, but he pushed me back down.

"Big sister, why don't you behave?" he sneered, his smirk making my stomach turn. After thinking for a moment, I decided it was dangerous to behave unfamiliarly with this person, especially since he seemed to know me.

So I decided to pretend I knew him. "Little brother, I'm sorry," I said, scratching my head with a pout. "I just bumped my head and forgot."

This change in behavior seemed to have changed his earlier hostile behavior.

He squatted in front of me and gently traced his finger along my cheek. "Is the temporary amnesia kicking in again?" he asked. I didn't know what he was talking about, but I saw this as a chance and nodded my head.

"Mn... poor thing," he said, ruffling my hair. "Come here." He picked me up and carried me out of the bathroom.

He sat me on a chair and began to undress me. I was shocked and wrapped my arms around myself, feeling a chill run down my spine. "What are you doing?" I stammered in embarrassment, my voice trembling.

He smiled, holding a few strands of my hair, his touch sending shivers down my neck. "I've already seen everything countless times. What's there to hide?" his voice was low and husky.

But his words caught my ear and made my eyes widen, and I stood up quickly, accidentally knocking his eye. "I-I'm sorry," I apologized, moving away from him, my heart racing with fear. He didn't react, instead sitting on the bed and beckoning me.

"Come here," he said, his voice dripping with seduction.

I hesitated, remaining rooted to the spot, my mind racing with thoughts of escape. I waited for him to say something else, looking down at my feet, my eyes scanning the floor for any opportunity to flee. But he didn't say a word. With a frown, I raised my head halfway to see what he was doing only for his hand to raise my chin, forcing me to stare deep into his eyes, his gaze piercing my soul.

I stared for a while, then felt shy, my cheeks burning with embarrassment. His eyes were alluring, and I, being the inexperienced girl I was in my previous life, was still the same. "Big sis," he called out, "don't you know what you're supposed to do now?" he asked.

I was confused, my mind foggy with uncertainty.

"Your temporary amnesia takes a short time, and you recover. Are you trying to tell me it's taking longer this time?" he questioned, smiling, but his voice hinted at a threat, his eyes glinting with malice.

I hurriedly replied, "I-I no, of course not," my voice shaking with fear. He asked, "Then why aren't you following the rules?" I was speechless for a while, worried about what would happen if he found out I lied to him, my heart pounding in my chest.

I quickly composed myself and held his hand, pushing him out of my room. "Honey, I'm just sleepy. So I'll sleep first, you go on," I said, locking the door behind him, my hands shaking with relief. With him gone, I sat on the bed, holding my chest with a sigh of relief, my heart still racing with fear.

Then I thought to myself, "I haven't even met the devil yet, and I'm already having minions causing trouble for me." Since my plan of escape had been destroyed, I suddenly remembered my identity as a maid and went downstairs to work, my mind still reeling with thoughts of the encounter.

As I worked, I couldn't help but shake my head at my boldness. I had actually stood up to a stranger like that, and yet I'm just a maid. What if he's the prince of the mansion? But then I remembered his earlier behavior. There's definitely no way he would be a prince of the mansion.

I guessed he was a servant in the higher rankings since he could walk into my room and move around freely. But he's too hot, sexy, and charming for that.

"Haaa... what a waste," I said loudly, a sigh escaping my lips.

Still thinking about the earlier situation, the girl whose body I had taken over seemed to have a lot on her plate. Temporary amnesia? No wonder I don't have her memories. I sighed, knowing I really needed to get them back. And so, I continued with the house chores, my mind still racing with thoughts of the encounter.
