I gazed into the darkness, the weight of my surroundings settling in. I was in hell. The realization had dawned on me just minutes ago, when a mysterious figure suddenly appeared before me. She was a vision of contradictions – sparkly, angelic, and pretty, with an innocent and polite demeanor that made her look like an angel. Or maybe she was one? I assumed so.
"Thea, would you like to survive this hell?" she asked, her voice like honey – sweet and alluring.
I nodded, knowing I'd left a lot behind. My husband had cheated on me with my best friend, and they'd both killed me. Even my baby twins had been killed due to their betrayal. I needed revenge.
"Alright, stop thinking about revenge, because you won't get it," she said, as if reading my mind.
I was shocked.' Haa... damn, she can hear me!'
"Yes, I can hear you," she responded, her smile growing wider. "I'm giving you a chance for redemption. Will you agree?"
I hesitated for a moment before responding, "As long as I don't suffer in this hell." My voice trembled as I spoke.
"Then would you go on a mission?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with intrigue.
"What mission? As long as I can leave here, I'll do anything," I replied hastily.
"Anything?" she asked, her smile growing wider.
"Anything," I repeated, my heart racing with anticipation.
She smiled, then clapped her hands twice. A silver-haired creature appeared beside me, and I fell off my kneeling position, almost scared to death.
"Don't be scared, Thea. She will be going with you," the angel-like lady said, her voice soothing.
"Who... who is she?" I stammered.
"Your competitor," she replied. "To make sure you don't get the deal easily, you will compete with her."
I was still confused. "What's the mission?" I asked.
"Your mission will be to bring the devil back to hell," she said, her eyes glinting with challenge. "Now, go."
She raised her hands, and a ball of light suddenly started to swallow us. I was creepily scared to death.
"Haa... no, wait, I can't do that! No, please!" I screamed, my voice echoing through the void.
Obviously, staying in hell was better than trying to bring the devil back. How could I even do that? I tried to scream again, but my voice was swallowed by the wind.

I yelped in agony as I felt a kick land squarely on my stomach. Excruciating pain shot through my body, and my eyes watered uncontrollably.
"Hell really has no mercy," I thought, wincing in pain.
The darkness seemed to press down on me, making it hard to breathe.
As I struggled to open my eyes, a cold voice cut through the haze, "If you can't do your job well, then scram."
I tried to focus, but the figure disappeared into the distance, accompanied by a woman with a creepy smile. Her eyes turned pink, and a chill ran down my spine. The image scared me awake, and my gaze snapped into focus.
I stared at the spot where they had vanished, trying to process what had just happened. The angel lady's words echoed in my mind."your mission will be to bring the devil back to hell."
"Oh my God." I screamed loudly, covering my mouth to stifle the sound. My heart racing, I thought, "Does this mean I'm already back on Earth?" Panic rose within me, and my breath caught in my throat.
I begged and pleaded with the angel lady, "Please take me back. I really can't do what you're telling me to do. I'd rather stay in hell."
But instead of a response, I heard a voice whispering in my mind, "Are you sure? Why don't you meet the devil first? His name is Lucian Kenz. Meet him first, then call me and tell me your final decision."
I hesitated, unsure of what to do. "Yes, but once I meet him, then what?" I waited for a reply, but there was only silence. Frustration and fear welled up inside me, my heart racing with anxiety.
"Hey, don't tell me you've gone!" I cried out, my voice shaking with emotion. "What should I do once I see him? Can you at least tell me if the devil has some rules?" I rolled onto the floor, tears streaming down my face as I succumbed to despair.

As I sat on my bed, surrounded by the eerie silence of the night, I couldn't help but wonder about the memories I had just received. They belonged to the owner of the body I now inhabited. She was 22 years old, a high school dropout who worked as a maid for the wealthy and influential Kenz family. An orphan struggling to make ends meet, she was a beautiful young woman with a perfect physique, pink lips, hazel eyes, and chestnut hair. Her innocence was striking, reminiscent of my own innocence.Just that I am eight years older than her.
But as I delved deeper into her memories, my excitement turned to dread. I felt a chill run down my spine as I discovered that she had been brought to personally serve the young prince of the Kenz family, Lucian Kenz. The same Lucian Kenz who had been mentioned earlier. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks, leaving me feeling frantic and trapped. My mind racing, I thought about the implications of my new reality.
Panic set in as I thought about serving Lucian Kenz. Despite my calm exterior, I was a mess inside. My hair was disheveled, filled with pillow feathers, and the room was in disarray. I felt like my world had been turned upside down. The silence of the night seemed to be closing in on me, making it hard to breathe.
"No, Thea, come on, breathe. This is nothing. You've died and come back to life; this should be fine," I said, trying to comfort myself as I fanned my face.
But my anxiety got the better of me. "But damn, I'm already in the devil's territory! I really want to run away!" I yelled in frustration, my voice echoing off the walls.
As I stood there, frozen in fear, I felt a wave of desperation wash over me. I thought about all the things that could go wrong, all the ways I could be trapped or hurt. My mind was racing with worst-case scenarios, and I felt my anxiety spiking again.
I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down, my heart still racing. I closed my eyes, focusing on the sound of my own breathing.
"Okay, Thea, tonight we are definitely running away. Definitely," I said, determination etched in my voice.
I felt a surge of resolve, my mind made up. With newfound courage, I opened my eyes, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
