Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: The Might of Vegeta

Metal Frieza crashed into the ground with tremendous force, creating a massive crater and shaking the earth violently.

As the dust settled, Metal Frieza quickly rose from the debris. A purple aura erupted from his body, dispersing the smoke in a powerful wave.

With his vision now clear, Metal Frieza spotted Vegeta located in the exact same spot where he had delivered the blow.

At that moment, Vegeta's aura surged to an incredible level, his energy crackling around him. He raised his right hand, where an intense blue energy sphere formed, pulsating with overwhelming power.

"This is the end for you, Frieza!" Vegeta declared, his voice filled with determination.

"Big Bang Attack!"

The blue energy sphere shot from Vegeta's hand, hurtling toward Metal Frieza with astonishing speed.

The attack was so swift that Frieza had no time to react.

"Wha—" Frieza's words were cut short as the energy blast engulfed him in a massive explosion.

When the energy dissipated, only scattered fragments of metal remained in the crater. There was no doubt—this was all that was left of Metal Frieza.

Seeing Frieza's demise with his own eyes, Vegeta was overcome with a surge of happiness.

"Finally, I've avenged Planet Vegeta!"

"Hahahahaha!"

Vegeta looked up at the sky and let out a triumphant laugh.

"You got exactly what you deserved, Frieza!"

The King Cold, however, remained eerily calm. He watched the scene unfold without the slightest hint of grief.

"You're not upset about Frieza's death?" Son Goku asked, surprised by King Cold's indifference. "Even if you don't care about him, aren't you worried about what happens to you next?"

"You misunderstand, Saiyan. Who told you that my son, Frieza, is dead?" King Cold replied calmly.

The Z Fighters stiffened as a familiar voice echoed from above.

"My father is right, Vegeta. Don't celebrate too soon. I'm not dead yet."

To everyone's shock, Metal Frieza landed in front of Vegeta, seemingly unscathed.

"What?! That's impossible!" Vegeta exclaimed, his disbelief unmistakable. "I killed you with my own hands! There's no way you could have survived!" Vegeta was certain of the devastating power of his Big Bang Attack; there was no way it shouldn't have finished Frieza for good.

['Unless Frieza is immortal… but that's impossible. Kakarot used the Dragon Balls to change Namek's coordinates.'] Vegeta's mind raced to find an explanation.

As Vegeta tried to make sense of the situation, another voice came from behind him.

"You did kill me, but that was just one of my clones. As long as my core body exists, I can create endless versions of myself."

Turning sharply, Vegeta saw another Metal Frieza standing behind him.

The battlefield fell silent as the Z Fighters stared in shock at the impossible sight.

"Two… there are two Friezas!" Krillin stammered, his voice trembling with fear.

"One Metal Frieza was terrifying enough. If what he says is true, there'll be more of them!" Krillin barely finished his sentence when another Metal Frieza descended from the sky.

One after another, more Metal Friezas appeared, surrounding Vegeta completely.

The overwhelming sight of countless Friezas left the Z Fighters frozen in terror as the scale of this new threat became devastatingly clear.

The Z Fighters found themselves surrounded by countless robots.

Although these robots were not as powerful as Frieza, they still posed a formidable challenge.

"Hmph, no matter how many of you there are, I'll crush every last one of you!" Vegeta declared confidently.

Facing the seemingly endless army of Metal Friezas, Vegeta's demeanor remained unchanged. While dispatching a single Metal Frieza was simple, battling a swarm of them would merely take more time.

In fact, Vegeta hadn't had enough of the satisfaction he felt when he destroyed Frieza the first time, and now the opportunity to annihilate even more of him promised to fill him with even greater joy.

Suddenly, one of the Metal Friezas teleported behind Vegeta, locking him in a tight grip. At the same time, two others appeared on either side of him and delivered powerful punches to his abdomen.

"Stop underestimating everyone, Vegeta!"

But Vegeta, unfazed by the coordinated assault, remained calm. Focusing his energy, he began to gather the surrounding ki into his body.

With a burst of power emanating from him, the Metal Friezas around him were thrown back, momentarily losing their balance in the air.

Before they could recover, Vegeta sprang into action. With a precise strike from his right hand, he severed each of the three Metal Friezas in half, dispatching them effortlessly.

As Vegeta finished off his attackers, three intense energy signatures appeared above him. Looking up, Vegeta saw three more Metal Friezas preparing deadly energy attacks.

Instead of panicking, Vegeta smirked. He was determined to face the energy attacks head-on, intent on cutting through them, taking down his foes in one fell swoop, and enjoying the looks of despair on their faces as he did so.

The three Metal Friezas worked quickly, combining their Death Balls into a single massive sphere. The energy pulsated menacingly, growing in size and strength. But even as the aura from the energy bomb intensified, Vegeta remained unimpressed.

"This is nothing compared to Kakarot's aura," he scoffed, charging straight at the attack.

To the astonishment of the three Metal Friezas, Vegeta plowed through the massive Death Ball, causing it to detonate behind him in a massive explosion.

Taking advantage of their momentary shock, Vegeta delivered a devastating punch to each of the Metal Friezas. His strikes were so powerful that the Metal Friezas exploded on impact, lighting up the sky in a fiery spectacle that everyone on the battlefield could see.

Vegeta dealt with six Metal Friezas, but as the smoke cleared, new Metal Friezas appeared, once again surrounding him.

"Tch, how irritating," Vegeta muttered, his frustration evident. The unending tide of Metal Friezas was starting to wear on his patience.

While defeating a single opponent was satisfying, the constant replacement of fallen enemies turned the battle into something of a grueling task for Vegeta.

Meanwhile, the Z Fighters were also facing their own relentless opponents. Though the robots were weaker than the Metal Friezas, their sheer numbers made them difficult to handle.

For every wave of robots they destroyed, another wave would emerge, surrounding them anew.
