Alexander paused in his actions, "Stellar Entertainment?"
"Yes, yes, Stellar Entertainment is very famous, and my male idol, James Sullivan, is also in Stellar Entertainment." When it came to her idol, Isabella Sheffield's eyes sparkled and her face was filled with a radiant smile.
In fact, in New York, there's no one who does not know about Stellar Entertainment, not only because of its fame, but most importantly, it is backed by the highly influential Cole Group.
If one were to describe the Cole Group, it could effortlessly dominate the scene in New York. Nobody would dare to disrespect it given its immense wealth and colossal influence.
The current President of the Cole Group, Alexander Cole, is a true maverick, the dream man of every woman in New York. Sadly, he has not been embroiled in any scandals, not even tabloid news, as he rarely makes public appearances. However, this does not deter his numerous female fans from fantasizing about him.
"You like James Sullivan?" Alexander had put down his breakfast by then. A glint in his deep dark eyes, he asked in a deep tone, querying her with such a piercing gaze as though intending to punish her. The thought running in his mind was: Is James Sullivan more handsome than me? I, an immensely handsome man, sitting in front of her, yet she still fancies other men. This was something Alexander couldn't accept.
"Mm-hmm." Isabella Sheffield nodded fervently, just like a pecking chicken. "My idol is not only handsome, but also very gentle. My dream is to be able to act with him one day." Isabella Sheffield rested her chin on her hands, her smile arching upwards as she daydreamed about those thoughts.
Alexander glanced at her and spoke flatly, "I'm going to work. If you're bored at home, you can ask Auntie Sandra to take you out." With that said, he got up and left.
Watching Alexander's departing figure, Isabella Sheffield felt a strange uneasiness. His mood seems to have changed, she thought, pursing her lips.
To be honest, the way Isabella Sheffield got along with Alexander couldn't be more harmonious. For a man she'd only known for a day, she didn't feel remotely cautious around him. It seemed, being attractive did come with special privileges.
Patting her head, she reminded herself that seeing a handsome man wasn't unusual, and just because they were good-looking didn't make them hers. Isabella Sheffield let out a deep sigh and continued eating the unfinished breakfast.
In the President's office of the Cole Group, Alexander was sitting at his desk, hands crossed over his chest and staring straight at the nonchalantly slouched man on the sofa, "The great Mr. Sheffield graces us with his presence, may I know the purpose of his visit?" He was not too pleased with this man who had barged into his office early in the morning and made himself at home.
The man was wearing casual white clothing, possessing such delicate features even females would envy. His brows were well-defined, cheekbones accented with a red mole. His deep brown eyes bore a faint smile but were tinged with an alienating chill. His jet-black hair concealed streaks of midnight blue.
A pair of golden glasses rested on his high nose bridge, adding a touch of sunshine to his handsome, unclouded face. He exuded an air of scholarly elegance.
"Ah, I mean, we're old friends after all, why so distant?" Thomas Sheffield got up and approached Alexander, bending slightly to meet his gaze. His eyebrows knitted, seemingly dissatisfied with Alexander's attitude towards him.
"No reason to visit unless there's something to gain. Mr. Sheffield, despite your busy schedule, if you could spare the time to come here, it can only mean you're either here to ask a favor or have ulterior motives." Alexander glanced at the approaching man, his expression remained composed and his gaze was neutral. However, there was a definitive tone in his words.
Thomas Sheffield raised an eyebrow, standing upright, sobering up in an instant, "If my memory serves me right, Stellar Entertainment is about to start trainee training. I want to send someone in, I wonder if Mr. Cole can agree to this? I've already sent over her information to your email. You can have a look first."
