Chapter 51 - Chapter 51

"What's wrong?" Eden also panicked, thinking his girlfriend Jane had caught them or something.

"That kid is watching," Laura pointed at Kyle while covering her body in shame.

"You mischievous bastard!" Eden frowned at Kyle and immediately Kyle ran away as he feared being caught and punished by Eden.

The maid Laura gathered herself to leave as she was no longer comfortable with the act.

"Where are you going? I am not done yet," Eden said, his eyes moving down to his still erected penis.

"Sorry I can't. Next time," she replied and then scampered away from the kitchen despite Eden best attempts to prevent her.

"Fuck! I didn't even get to cum," Eden said frustratedly as he glanced down at his hard dick.

"I'mma kill that boy," he vowed angrily…

Kyle was running back to his room feeling both excited and scared. Excited because he totally enjoyed what he watched but also terrified when he remembered he was almost caught. However he became all scared when he turned around and saw that Eden was right behind him, chasing him down.

"Fuck!" He increased his running pace but it seemed it was no use as Eden was faster and he was quickly gaining ground on him.

"You are so dead, boy!.." Eden kept making threats behind him as both of them ran through the hallway like they were in a Sprint race competition and Kyle's heart kept beating really fast.

God please!

He was praying silently in his heart that he doesn't get caught but his prayers seemed not to be answered as he felt a strong hand grabbing hold of him in the back of his shirt.

"Caught you. You sick pervert," Eden had an angry but delighted expression when he finally caught hold of Kyle while Kyle looked frightened like a mouse caught in a rat trap.

"I am sorry.." he quickly started apologizing but flinched as Eden raised his hands to hit him....

"What's going on here?" A thick masculine voice prevented Eden from doing what he intended to do.

It was Marcel and on sighting him Kyle felt safe.

"Nothing..I was just playing with the boy," Eden improvised as he rubbed Kyle's head instead of hitting him like he had intended.

"I see. Is this so Kyle?" Marcel asked. It was evident that he didn't buy what Eden was selling.

Kyle took his eyes up to Eden before responding to Marcel and in that short period Eden gave him a sign to cooperate unless he would land into more soup. Not wanting to be into more trouble Kyle decided to lie.

"Yes. Uncle Eden and I were just playing," he said and Eden gave a fake smile.

"You see, I told you. That's how me and the kid played while you were gone. He is such a good boy, you know?"

"Sorry but I will have to interrupt your play time then. Kyle, come with me," Marcel said, stretching out his hand to the boy and Kyle eagerly took hold of Marcel's hand….

"Fuck!" Eden was angry and pissed as he watched as Marcel took the boy away.

He honestly wanted to teach the boy a lesson but it turns out the boy is very lucky as he met the one person that could save him from Eden which is Marcel...

I know it's none of my business and that Marcel might get angry with me but I just couldn't help myself as I stepped out of my room in search of Kate's room. I have to explain things to her as I couldn't stand the fact that she was accusing Marcel wrongly when he did what he did for her and I don't want her husband to get away with what he did. If there is anything I despise. Is definitely a cheating mate.

There is one problem though. I don't know which room is hers and I can't ask the guards as reportedly they are mad at me as they blame the death of their colleague who the late Isabella killed on my head. However luckily for me I spotted a maid wheeling a tray of food through the hallway and I decided to talk to her.

"Hey.. where are you taking this to?" I asked in a friendly manner and thankfully she was also a jovial person as she was full of smiles.

"The boss asked me to bring some food for his sister in case she gets hungry at night," she answered.

"Marcel?"

"Yes."

I knew it, he does care about his sister a lot and this just made me want to patch things between them the more.

"You look quite stressed up. Why don't you allow me to help you with this? All you need to do is point me in the direction," I said and she was quite cooperative.

She gave me directions and in no time I was standing in front of a door that had two men standing guard.

The men wore a tight frown when they saw me and I started explaining to them I am here to serve Kate by Marcel's orders even without them asking me any questions. You can call it fear and you won't be wrong.

Thankfully they opened up the door for me without calling to confirm from Marcel unless I would be in hot soup.

"Ah," letting out a sigh of relief entered the room.

It was a huge room. Every room in this mansion is actually quite big. I could see Kate seated on the bed with her arms folded together. I could tell she was angry and frustrated. I don't even think she realized someone had just entered her room.

"Kate," I called out softly, getting her attention.

"You? What are you doing here? And why are you pushing that?" She asked a variety of questions at once and I didn't know where to start from but I decided to start from the last.

"Marcel thought you might be hungry," I said making my reply brief and straight to the point but she scoffed.

"So now my brother is making his lover do maids' jobs because she spoke out of line? When did he change this much? He has become so heartless I hardly recognize him anymore. This isn't the same person I grew up with."

Wait a minute? Did she just refer to me as Marcel's lover? I needed to clarify that asap though it sounded quite nice but it's not true. We are very far from being lovers and I have a fiance who loves me and I, him.

"You have gotten it wrong. Marcel and I are not_" I tried to explain but she caught me short.

"Take it back and tell him prisoners don't get to enjoy a banquet. Since he has decided to imprison me by keeping me here against my will he should as well do it right," she said adamantly.

Oh my gosh. Both of them are so stubborn. They deserve to be siblings. Damn! So annoying.

"Okay but the truth is Marcel doesn't know I am here," I said and she looked a bit confused.

"Didn't you say he was the one that asked you to serve me?"

"I lied. The assignment was given to a maid. I just took her place," I answered.

"Why?" Her confusion was still visible on her face.

"Because I needed to discuss something important with you. What I want to tell you now is the truth and once you hear it I promise you everything will become clearer," I said and she already seemed hooked.

"You see I was with Marcel that day in Rome..." I proceeded to narrate everything to her.

I told her about how Marcel had caught him making out with a lady in the streets of Rome and how that had provoked Marcel into beating him and that he was still the same person that called for the ambulance that picked her husband to the hospital.

"..so you see Marcel didn't really do anything wrong. All he did was defend the honor of his sister and although I do not completely agree with the way did it, but the fact still remains that your husband lied to you about what happened that night." I finished speaking.

"What? If this is true why didn't Marcel say anything to me?" She said almost in denial.

"I don't know but I guess it has to do with trust. Maybe he expects you to give him the benefit of the doubt based on the relationship you guys share or something. You know Marcel better than I do since he is your brother. Has he ever done something like this before?"

Kate was quiet for a while. I know it must be very hard for her to process and digest all I had just told her, especially the fact that her husband was cheating on her. I wish it was not the case but I saw with my own eyes and the truth had to be said.

"I need to be alone," she finally spoke and from her tone I could tell she was battling a lot of emotions internally.

It's best I leave her so I left.

Hope I did the right thing and haven't made things even worse than they are? I really couldn't tell but at least I knew I had done my best...

The next day

It was a bright morning with the sun looking calmly down from the sky. The birds were in the trees singing beautiful melodies that rhyme perfectly with the gush of cool wind.

As promised Marcel had ordered his men to leave their stations in front of Kate's room as she was no longer a prisoner but now a guest who is free to leave at any time she likes...

"I would have asked you to stay for breakfast but I think I already know the answer," Marcel said to Kate when she came down to the sitting room.

He was still of the mindset that she hated him and wanted nothing to do with him but her next action shocked him.

Running into him she hugged him tightly. "I am sorry. I am so sorry brother," she said still in his embrace with her emotions laying bare and although Marcel was still confused he hugged her back.

"I don't understand," he said to her.

"I know what really happened now. I know what my shameless husband did and I am so shameful for accusing you wrongly and I also regret greatly for hitting you. Will you ever forgive me, brother?" Kate wept.

"You are family. I will always have your back. Forever and nothing will ever change that," Marcel said then went further to hug her consolingly.

Just then his eyes went up to the stairs and he saw Ella standing looking down at them and from his facial expression one could tell he knew instantly it was Ella that told Kate what actually happened.
