Inside a private chamber Marcel and Eden discussed.
"So what is it you wanted to tell me?" Marcel asked as he poured himself a glass of tequila and Eden gave a weak sigh.
"One of our cargos in the eastern sea got hit," he informed.
"By who?" Marcel asked his tone carrying some particles of annoyance.
"An unknown gang but I think they might be connected to Gustavo," Eden said and Marcel raised his brow.
"And why will you say so?" He asked.
"Well because of this," Eden replied, bringing out what looks like a piece of paper.
"What does it say?" Marcel asked.
"They are asking for the release of Gustavo unless more cargoes will be going down," Eden said but instead of getting angry like Eden expected Marcel smiled leaving Eden kinda perplexed.
"Are you sure you heard what I said?"
"I heard you perfectly," Marcel replied with a smile still on his face but then his expression became darkened.
"It took them long enough."
"How do you want us to handle this?" Eden asked.
"Simple. We will give them what they want. I think it's time we will get our old friend out of the dungeon," Marcel said and with that both he and Eden stepped out...

I haven't felt this anxious and nervous in a long while.
Is today going to be the day I finally become free?
Honestly I don't see how this can become a reality. How will Isabella manage to get me out of here with the amount of tight security in this mansion? I am still very skeptical about the whole thing.
Taking a look at the large room I couldn't help but confess that I have started to get used to living here. If I did manage to escape from here tonight I would definitely miss this room even though I hate to admit it but I will miss the mansion as a whole as well. I think I have somehow gotten attached to its walls. But is it truly the walls I have gotten attached to and if so, why is thought of Marcel constantly in my head???
I shouldn't be thinking of him. This isn't right. He is my abductor_ well both savior and abductor. I guess that is why it is a bit complicated for my mind to understand I shouldn't be thinking of him in the manner at which I am.
"Focus." I took a deep breath.
A couple of minutes went by and then I heard a knock on the door.
"Who is that?" I asked, a bit panicked.
Everything now is causing me to panic actually.
"It's me Isabella." A familiar female voice came from the other side.
Recognizing her voice I quickly got down from the bed and went to open the door to let her in.
"Are you getting ready?" Isabella said as she hurried in, her voice carrying a secretive tone.
"I guess...I don't really know. What am I supposed to do?" I asked and honestly I was a bit disoriented and scared.
"Just relax. All you need to do is not fall asleep tonight and don't eat your dinner no matter what," she said and I was taken aback by her last statement.
"Why? Do you want to poison the food??" My heart sank.
"No. Not poison but I will be adding a substance that will make anyone that eats the food fall into a deep slumber. That is how we will escape the guards," she said and I became a bit relieved.
"Okay...Are you sure this would work?" I asked and I am sure she could see my doubts in my face.
"Just have faith in me. You won't spend another night here again," she said, her tone sounding really convincing that it gave me confidence.
"Thank you for doing this. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it." I said genuinely from the heart.
"You don't have to thank me. Isn't that what friends are for? They help each other, right? I am sure you would have done exactly the same thing for me if I happened to be in your position," she said and that almost brought tears to my eyes so I embraced her tightly...
A thought came into my head that made me disengage from the hug.
"Kyle. We have to inform Kyle not to eat the meal also," I said to her and she seemed a bit dissatisfied.
"Are you sure this boy wants to leave here with you? Have you even spoken to him about it?"
"No I haven't yet but I am sure if he has a way of leaving here he would want to leave. No one wants to be a prisoner not even inside a big mansion," I said and Isabella sighed.
"I don't know but he has become rather too comfortable around here these past days while you were gone with the boss. I suggest you go talk to him about it now and pray he doesn't snitch on us and tell Marcel about our plans of escaping unless that would mean our death. For real," she warned and I swallowed down.
"I will do that right away," I said and Isabella nodded her head before leaving the room....
Some minutes after the maid Isabella left my room I went to look for Kyle in his room. Knocking on the door I waited patiently for his response and after some lengthy seconds the door opened up.
There stood the young man staring at me oddly.
"Is there anything I can help you with?" He asked.
"Can I come in? We need to talk," I replied, trying my best to sound as relaxed and calm as possible...
"So you are escaping here tonight and dinner has been drugged?" That was Kyle's response after he let me into his room and I explained to him the reason why I came.
"Yes and I want you to escape with me. That's why I don't want you to eat the meal that will be served tonight." I explained further.
"Can you tell me this? Why do you want to leave?" He asked and I went quiet for a few seconds as I didn't know how to answer that question.
Finally pulling myself together I made a response.
"So I can be free and reunite with my loved ones who I know have been worriedly waiting for me. I need to leave here so I can return back to my life." I answered but he just stared at me blankly.
"I have no one to return to. Everyone I know is dead. There is no life outside there for me. Only the cold nights in the streets. I do not want to return back to the streets," he said and I could feel the trauma in his voice which made me feel sympathy for him.
"You can stay with me. I promise not to treat you badly. I will take you like my younger brother and you will get to live your life like a normal teenager. Go to school, learn and make new friends. What do you say? Will you come with me?" I asked, hoping to hear a positive response from him.
"I am sorry but I don't think you can escape Marcel not even if you try and you will be foolish if you think you can," he said leaving me shocked and baffled.
Why will he say that?
"..." My speech was caught in my throat.
"I think I would love to rest now," he said and I understood that was a way to tell me to leave his room..
"Okay I will leave but in case you change your mind please don't fail to let me know," I said before leaving his room.
Heading back to my room, a strange sound coming from downstairs in one of the sitting rooms caught my attention and I went to see what was happening...
From up where I was I saw two of Marcel's men dragging a wounded man away to the front, main door and Marcel and Eden were walking behind them.
Huh?
Taking a second look at the man I discovered I have seen him before. Yes I remember now. He is that same man that Eden beat up in the dining room when I just arrived at the mansion. The one that Eden's girlfriend Jane said he siphoned Marcel's money meant for the orphanage home in Mexico to himself. I really can't recall his name but honestly I thought he was dead, like Marcel had gotten rid of him permanently a long time ago.
Clearly I was wrong as he is still alive. Probably locked up in a cell inside the mansion somewhere all this while but I wonder where they are taking him to now? Do they finally want to finish the job?
As I stood watching curiously all of a sudden Marcel took his eyes up to where I was like he knew I was there.
How come? I didn't even make any sound.
His stare was intense but for some odd reason I maintained eye contact with him even though my whole body was screaming to me to just flee to my room. I could literally hear the pounding sound of my heart beat, however I found myself rooted to the floor gazing into those blue blazing eyes of his…
Finally Marcel took his eyes and attention away from me as he went out of the building with his prisoner.
Where are they going tonight? I really don't understand what was happening. Hope this won't affect the escape plan though?
An hour later.
Dinner had been served and as expected everyone ate their meals, everyone except for me and Isabella. Marcel and Eden with some of his men were still not back from where they went and it became a cause of worry as I pray they do not return when the sleeping drugs have started to have their effects on the guards. That would ruin the whole plan...
I was in my room waiting anxiously with fingers in mouth when suddenly Isabella dashed into my room.
"It's time. We need to leave now!" She announced.
