Tony Stark asked curiously, "How did you come up with the idea that the armor might freeze at high altitudes?"
"Isn't it just from watching those sci-fi movies? The higher you go, the colder it gets. So I thought maybe that could happen," Qin Li said directly. However, in his mind, he thought, Could it be that I've seen you fall in the movie? But it was just a movie, so it didn't matter.
Tony Stark nodded and said, "Looks like movies aren't all lies, at least they stuck to some reality. Li, what was the name of the movie you watched? Wait, let me check it out, maybe I can find some issues."
Qin Li thought to himself, Well, there's a lot you'll find. You'll soon realize your uncle Obadiah Stane is the one who tried to kill you. But out loud, he said, "Ah, I forgot the name, never mind. It's just a movie. What do you expect to learn from it? You should focus on how much noise your armor is going to make during the test tonight."
Tony Stark eyed Qin Li suspiciously, but hearing about the test, he immediately dove back into adjusting the data. He said, "Alright, you're of no use here. Go upstairs and have fun for now. We'll catch up later tonight."
"Okay, okay, I'm going up. You take your time," Qin Li said as he headed upstairs to find something to eat.
As the sun gradually set, evening arrived. Qin Li had already returned to the basement, watching Tony Stark make the final adjustments. Qin Li held a goblet of red wine, its rich rose-like color shimmering under the lights. He stopped swirling it, took a sip, and said, "How's it going? You've been tweaking this thing since morning, don't tell me the test flight is canceled."
"Almost there, just the final data connection left. Jarvis, how's the connection?" Tony Stark frantically worked on the control panel, his actions fast and dizzying, making one wonder if he was actually making adjustments or just pressing random buttons. After hitting the enter key with flair, Tony Stark stepped back, turning toward the screen and said.
"Connection established, Mr. Stark," Jarvis's calm voice echoed, making Tony Stark jump in excitement. He then turned to the armor and said, "Let's do this." As he stepped into the mechanical suit, the robotic arms began to assemble it, and soon the silver armor had fully encased Tony Stark.
Qin Li couldn't help but marvel. This was the beginning of a mere mortal matching the gods. Watching Tony Stark operate the suit, Qin Li asked, "Hey, my friend, how does it feel?"
Tony Stark's voice, even filtered through electronics, was filled with excitement, "I can't feel better! Jarvis, sync the visuals!"
"Understood, Mr. Stark." As Jarvis spoke, a virtual screen appeared, showing a first-person perspective from Tony Stark's point of view. Various objects were scanned, and their names and functions were displayed.
"Wow, this thing's great! Tony, what effects can it have on people?" Qin Li asked, curious.
Tony Stark didn't answer directly. Instead, he operated the suit to scan Qin Li. On the screen, it showed: Name: Qin Li, Gender: Male, Age: 24, Combat Power: Unknown, Occupation: Priest, Wearing Black Suit.
Qin Li raised an eyebrow at the screen and pointed to the combat power data, "What's this? Your armor can even measure combat power?"
Tony Stark replied, "It's for future use. But it needs a special kind of energy level to work. Alright, time to test the flight. Jarvis, keep an eye on the altitude, we don't want to freeze up."
As soon as Tony Stark finished speaking, the soles and palms of the silver armor glowed, and with a burst of flames, the suit began to slowly lift off. Then, with a dive, it shot through the basement exit. Tony Stark's excited shout echoed from the speakers. Qin Li could see the virtual screen moving fast, knowing just how fast the armor was flying.
Before long, Tony Stark was already soaring in the sky. With fast turns, climbs, and dives, his laughter and excitement filled the air.
"Did you see that, Li? This is my one-of-a-kind suit!" Tony Stark's voice rang out, thrilled.
"I saw it, it's perfect! Looks way better than the big metal hunk you made in the cave. At least it doesn't crash after a single flight. Hahahaha!" Qin Li laughed.
"Of course! Jarvis, set the flight path back home. This test flight was perfect. Let's go back and see if there's anything else we can improve," Tony Stark said, flying for over twenty minutes before he'd had enough, then instructed Jarvis.
"Understood, Mr. Stark," Jarvis replied.
In less than a minute, Qin Li saw Tony Stark fly back into the entrance, but he didn't stop. Tony Stark shouted for Jarvis and carelessly crashed into his luxury car, totaling two cars before finally stopping after rolling into a third. Qin Li chuckled as he walked over, watching Tony Stark, now out of the suit, saying, "Looks like the landing system needs some work. You can't just roll down every time you land, can you?"
"Jarvis, record this: Landing alignment malfunction, thrust too strong," Tony Stark said, then struggled to get up with Qin Li's help. "Alright, everything's perfect, except for the landing. I think that'll be sorted out soon. This was a flawless test flight, wasn't it?"
Qin Li looked at Tony Stark, arms wide open, and smiled. "Yes, it was a perfect test flight, except for the landing."
"Jarvis, order the shell material from the aviation company. That high-altitude freezing problem will be solved. Mark III will use our new materials."
At that moment, Qin Li assumed Tony Stark was referring to the recently ordered aerospace materials and didn't ask further.
"Li, give me another batch of the materials you gave me last time. I need them for the Mark III," Tony Stark said to Qin Li.
"Tony, have you figured out how to use the three materials I gave you?" Qin Li asked curiously.
"Not yet, Li. The first lower-grade hardener and the second carbon crystal's use are still a mystery to me. As for the third, the lower-grade elemental crystal, I have no idea what it does," Tony Stark said helplessly, sounding slightly annoyed when mentioning the elemental crystal.
"That's not bad! So, how's it going? Have you figured out how to use them yet?" Qin Li asked, eager for answers.
