CHAPTER 16
Clara arrived at the apartment, she was immediately greeted by sound of Valentina's voice talking to Luna in her room. She walked closer to the door, not wanting to eavesdrop on their conversation, but curiosity got the best of her.
"Hey it's not like that okay" Valentina said trying to Calm Luna down.
"It's not like what huh, u heard what Clara said. She literally said she cared about Aurora" Luna said with rage in her tone.
"Well yes she does, but she doesn't Love her like she loves you though" Valentina said still trying to calm Luna down.
"Ohh really now, and she didn't bother telling me she's friends with her" Luna said more angry.
"Well she didn't tell Aurora she has someone too" Valentina said.
"What the heck is she doing, is she two timing me" Luna said trying to hold back her tears, but she couldn't she broke down in front of Valentina. Valentina felt bad seeing Luna crying, she had gotten a bit attached to her now and watching her cry hurts her.
Clara couldn't bear Luna crying and she definitely didn't want a misunderstanding with her, so she entered the room shocking both Valentina and Luna.
"What do you want" Luna said while wiping her tears.
"Let's talk, you are misunderstanding things between me and Aurora" Clara said trying to come close to Luna. But Luna stopped her.
"Don't even near me right now, it's one thing to have a friend without telling me who it is, but it's another to hide me" Luna said with Red eyes.
"Hide u" Clara said confused.
"Clara I think it's best u leave Luna, right now she's not in a good mood" Valentina said trying to usher Clara out of the room.
"I'm not leaving until I clear things with her" Clara said to Valentina and then faced Luna.
"What do you mean by hide you, cause last time I checked I never hid u from anyone" Clara said getting closer to Luna.
"Ohh really, so why didn't you tell me Aurora was your childhood friend, and why didn't you tell her you are seeing someone. Wasn't it obvious she likes you" Luna said with Jealousy and rage.
"Well first off, I didn't tell her cause we haven't been in contact with each other for years, and instead of telling u I was gonna introduce u both. And Aurora does see me like that" Clara said Luna now holding her face.
"But even if she does see me in that way, I will continue to make it clear to her my heart belongs to you and only you" Clara said and Luna burst out crying, while resting on Clara's shoulder.
Valentina was watching the two and felt happy and envious of them, she decided to leave the room to give them more privacy.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry for doubting you, I was just so angry and jealous when you said you cared about her" Luna said amidst her tears.
"I care about her yes, but I Love you. There's a difference also whenever you feel uncomfortable about stuff like this tell me, after all we are a couple and as couples being open and honest to one another is the most important part in a relationship" Clara said and Luna nodded.
Clara and Luna laid on the bed, while Clara was patting Luna to sleep. Luna was already asleep and Clara held her in her arms. She was caressing Luna's face while being lost in thought when her phone rang. She immediately answered it quietly not wanting to wake the sleeping Luna.
"Hello" Clara answered the phone coldly.
"Umm Clara did I call in a bad time" Aurora said on the other line.
"Ohh Actually Luna is sleeping next to me and I didn't want to wake her, your call was unexpected though what's the problem" Clara asked.
"Ohh nothing I just wanted to thank you for the shoes you sent to me, you even sent me a cream for my Ankle" Aurora said while trying to contain her Blushing face.
"It's no problem, if that's all I need to be with Luna now. Goodnight Aurora" Clara said and ended the call.
Clara immediately went back to Luna, and Luna subconsciously held onto Clara. "I Love you Clara, promise to never leave me" Luna said while sleeping.
Clara smiled while hearing what Luna said. "I promise my love, I will never leave you" Clara said and drifted off to sleep.
Aurora still held the phone with anger, and she angrily tossed it on the bed.
"Arghh, Luna You are going to pay for taking what's mine" Aurora said pure hate.
In the Both Christopher and Antonio watched their sister, as she cursed Luna.
Christopher rather thought of the person that stole Theo from him, and Antonio thought of how to get Valentina to be his.
"Well it's clear we are going to be busy with more than Business in New York" Antonio said gaining both Aurora and Christopher attention.
"Clearly, I don't know who took my Theo from me, but I know whoever he is he's going to regret ever taking him from me" Christopher said with Sinister smile on his smile.
"The same goes for Luna, She took what's mine so she needs to pay" Aurora said smiling as well.
"Hmm do you two even have a plan on how you will accomplish this?, i presume not since you two like jumping into things" Antonio said indifferently.
"Well do you have a plan on how to help us, cause it's clear you still Love Valentina even till now" Aurora said making Antonio change his expression.
"I always have a plan, and don't worry if you two follow it accordingly, what's ours will be with us before you know it"
"Ohh nice so what's the plan then" Christopher asked eager to know more.
Antonio explained the plan to his siblings and they we're satisfied with it, only what's next is putting it into action. Little do they know they will messing with the wrong people.
When Valentina left the room, she was lost in thought.
"Clara and Luna are indeed meant for each other, their Love is so great I envy them. But then there's me why is it so hard for me to get the man I Love. Salvatore I have loved you since the first time we met, you could call it Love at first sight. But you didn't even know or noticed, now you know and she just giving me the cold shoulder. But no matter like what Clara said I'm the daughter of Vittorio Russo and Laura Russo Quiting isn't in my blood, Salvatore you might not love me now but that doesn't mean i will give up" Valentina said in her mind while smiling, she didn't watch where she was going she bumped into Salvatore.
"Ouch sorry" Valentina said.
"It's fine" Salvatore said indifferently, and Valentina walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Coincidentally Salvatore was doing the same thing.
"So how was the meeting with Antonio Amatucci" Salvatore asked not looking at Valentina.
"It went well" Valentina answered bluntly.
"Of course it did, so well he gave you your favorite pastries" Salvatore said while holding his glass tightly.
"Well he knows what I like" Valentina answered and she was about to leave when Salvatore asked her a question.
"Why not date him then, he seems like the perfect man any girl would want" Salvatore said distastefully, Valentina sensed something was off with him with his way of words. But she didn't quite understand why.
"True he is the perfect man, and he is what any girl would want. But I'm not any girl and I don't have such feelings for him" Valentina said making Salvatore feel at ease, which Valentina noticed.
"Why do u care anyways, Whatever I do is my Business" Valentina said.
"True but don't date him, I don't like him and I don't want you seeing him without my permission" Salvatore said making Valentina confused.
"Excuse me, since when did you own me" Valentina said with anger in her tone.
"I don't own you, but I'm telling you what I expect from you. I don't want you seeing Antonio without my permission and I definitely don't want him Around either" Salvatore said indifferently to Valentina while looking at her.
Valentina was angered by Salvatore words, and she definitely wasn't gonna stand for it.
"Listen here Salvatore I don't give a fuck about what you say, but you have no right to tell me who I can and can't see. Since Antonio came he has brought information regarding Umberto De Luca and also made me smile. So just because you have trust issues it shouldn't affect me understand" Valentina said making Salvatore angry.
Valentina didn't want to look at Salvatore right now, so she left to her room and Salvatore just went to the living room finding Lorenzo sitting there.
"What are you doing here, shouldn't you be resting with Theo" Salvatore asked Lorenzo.
"Hmm true, but I heard you two arguing and I didn't want Theo waking up" Lorenzo said.
"Yeah sorry about that, I was just trying to explain things to her" Salvatore said.
"We're you though, sounded like you were trying to control her" Lorenzo said.
"Ohh common not you too" Salvatore said.
Lorenzo observed both Valentina and Salvatore and he already knew what the problem is.
"Hmm when will you stop" Lorenzo said.
"Stop what" Salvatore asked.
"Stop fighting your feelings" Lorenzo said making Salvatore shocked.
"Huh" Salvatore said.
"You like her no You Love her don't you Salvatore" Lorenzo said making Salvatore lost for words.
