[As I began destroying their cells and breaking their cursed collars]
So? What can you do...
[Meanwhile in the command room - Experimental Base - HYDRA']
[HYDRA Agent: "Alert! The mutants are attacking! We need reinfor--- AGHH"]
[HYDRA Agent: "The mutants in area C-1 are loose. I repeat, the mutants a-a-a-are... 'Who are you talking to, human?~' [Static sounds]]
[HYDRA Agent: "Central Base, this is Alpha 1. We are under attack, REPEAT, WE ARE UNDER ATTACK. REQUESTING REINFORCEMENTS, OVER."]
[HYDRA Agent: "Use the energy weapons! Don't let those bastards get any closer!"]
[HYDRA Agent: "OUR ATTACKS ARE INEFFECTIVE, REPEAT, INEFFECTIVE. THEY HAVE A MUTANT WHO CAN WEAVE BARRIERS, REPEAT, THEY H-- what is that red light?...." [Static]]
[Central Base: "Baron von Strucker, we have a problem with the mutants. Repeat, requesting reinforcements, the mutants are loose, repe--."]
[Baron Wolfgang von Strucker: "Listen closely, you incompetents. I will not allow a group of mutants to ruin our plans. Fortify the defenses and activate the containment protocols. HELLO?! If you can't control the situation, you don't deserve to be in HYDRA! TRASH! SOMEONE RESPOND TO ME!!!"]
[Ritzer: "Hello?~ You're the one in charge, aren't you? ... You kept us captive in this wretched place, but when we find you, we'll return the favor...."]
[Baron Wolfgang von Strucker - HYDRA: "Who dares challenge me? YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH, FILTHY MUTANTS! Prepare to face HYDRA's wrath! HELLO?!"]
[End of communication]
[Ritzer: "Well, we officially took down one damn base of what seems to be Hydra. Aren't you proud, my mutant brothers?"]
[Mutant: "YESSS, DEATH TO THE HUMAN BASTARDS!!!"]
[Mutant: "MUTANTS ARE SUPERIOR!"]
[Mutant: "OH GOD, I CAN FINALLY REUNITE WITH MY FAMILY!"]
[Mutant: "GOODBYE, TORMENT!!!"]
[Others: "I can finally return to society!" "I miss my home..." "It's finally over!"...]
[Ritzer's thoughts: "Okay, I have a few problems... nothing I can't solve, just separate the bad weeds..."]
[Ritzer: "Okay guys, now that we're out of that place, as you can see, I'm recruiting people to join us. As a Beta-class mutant, I'm the strongest among us, and it's best we support each other, right? And most importantly, to take revenge on the damn humanity that rejected us and sent us to this wretched place to die horribly... DON'T YOU THINK WE SHOULD SHOW THEM WHO'S REALLY SUPERIOR?"]
[Ritzer's thoughts: "As I expected, some were more than willing to join me, though they were very few. But conveniently, they're the strongest among these mutants. Now it's time to address how to deal with these traitors who seek to reintegrate into society again."]
[Ritzer: "Now then, I respect the decisions of those who declined to join me, and I understand their reasons better than anyone. So I guess this is goodbye, my mutant brothers. Now I ask those who are willing to join, behind me" [I said aloud as I gave the warmest smile I could muster.]
- Three minutes later -
[Ritzer: "So, welcome, my mutant brothers and sisters. As for those who didn't join us, together, we'll give these 'subjects' the proper farewell. What do you think?" [I said as I squinted my eyes and my smile faded.]]
As if sensing something was wrong, some stepped back as I slightly raised my finger, pointing towards their position.
[Ritzer: "I regret that our farewell has to be so swift, but I don't like traitors... so this is the end, your end... don't resist." [I said as I began gathering energy and started counting aloud.]
"Onee~ two~ three~"
[Other Mutants: "NO, PLEASE DON'T!" "WE'RE MUTANTS, WE SHOULD SUPPORT EACH OTHER!" "YOU CRAZY BASTARD!"]
While some tried to run down the narrow hallway we came from, others tried to convince me or even resist, something the mutants behind me didn't hesitate to address, crushing into a bloody pulp anyone who got too close.
[Ritzer: "Take this~ PEW!" [I said as a small energy beam shot out from my finger. It looked small when released but expanded to the size of a basketball, destroying everything in its path, reducing the long hallway to a bloody mess or even ashes, until it crashed into a wall and exploded.]
I had never charged an attack for so long; it felt as if a C4 had detonated here. Nothing remained but some scraps scattered here and there, but that was all.
