The more we tried to make progress the colder the air seemed to grow. At the end we all felt drained and gave up one by one.
"Let's find a nearby settlement. Someone there might know how to melt this ice." Tahlia tried to appear determined but her body still shiver a lot.
"That's a much better idea. Let's go!" Garis quickly agreed and with enthusiasm leading the way.
We walked across the frozen landscape surrounded by towering mountains of ice and endless plains of frost. The crunch of our boots against the ice was the only sound apart from the howling wind. The freezing air made it hard to move especially with a strong freezing wind in the air.
"Wait here. Let me scout around," I said and summoning my shadow to lift me into the air.
From above the icy terrain stretched out like a barren wasteland. Not far off I noticed a cave partially hidden behind a high cliff with entrance obscured by a thin sheet of ice.
