Chapter 1 - New beginning

"I will defeat you!" Boros said while charging his attack. "All my energy will be released, blasting you and this planet to Hell!"

"Badum" "Badum"

"Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon!"

A ray of immense energy headed towards Saitama, who was now in serious mode. "In that case, I'm using my final move too," he said.

"Killer Move: Serious Series... Serious Punch."

"Boom!" Saitama's punch directly nullified Boros's energy beam, and the remaining force of his punch passed right next to Boros, barely missing him.

Moments later, Saitama stood in front of the kneeling Boros, who had returned to his released form. "Did I lose?" Boros asked, looking up at Saitama. "What tremendous power."

Marveling at Saitama's strength, he asked, "Do you think, given enough time, I could ever catch up to you?"

"I don't know," replied Saitama. "But I do have some advice: if you want to have fun, you shouldn't get any stronger."

"Perhaps you're right," chuckled Boros. "You're the only satisfying opponent I've found in decades."

"Say, are there any more people like you on this planet? Ones who would be fun to fight?"

Scratching his bald head, Saitama replied, "As far as I can tell, I'm the strongest one here. Every monster I encounter dies in one hit," he said with a disappointed look. "Even the biggest ones. You're the first to survive a punch."

"Although I haven't faced any heroes yet, maybe some of them might be strong."

"Heroes, monsters," thought Boros. "It seems this world might have something to offer. Maybe you haven't run into some of the strongest foes here."

"Maybe," replied Saitama.

After a short moment of silence, Boros asked with a determined face, "Say, if you're not planning on killing me, would you mind if I stayed on this planet for a while?"

"I have nowhere else to go, seeing as you destroyed my ship."

Saitama tilted his head and thought for a moment. "As long as you don't go around destroying stuff, I don't see a problem with that."

"Just don't make me punch you again," he added with a hint of a threat.

For a brief moment, Boros felt a shiver spread throughout his body, as if his very being warned him of imminent death.

"Don't worry," said Boros, getting up. "I won't fight you until I have the necessary power to give you a real challenge."

Boros looked left and right, then awkwardly asked, "Do you know where I could go on Earth to settle down?"

Saitama thought for a while. "With the way you look, you can't just live in a city full of people. The Heroes Association will consider you a threat immediately."

"Hmm... Why don't you come with me to City Z? It's already considered overrun by monsters, so adding one more wouldn't raise any suspicions."

"That's a good idea," thought Boros. "And where is this City Z?"

Saitama pointed in one direction. "That way. If you go straight, you'll see an abandoned town. That's City Z."

"But you should hurry," Saitama added, looking stressed. "The heroes will arrive soon, and I don't want them seeing me talking with a monster. It might lower my salary."

"Okay. See you later," replied Boros, leaping toward the direction Saitama had pointed.

While Boros retreated to City Z, Saitama went to find Genos, and they joined the other heroes.

................

Meanwhile, in City Z…

Boros arrived in City Z and began looking around. Everything on Earth was completely new to him. None of the planets he had seen resembled Earth.

"Everything is weird here," he muttered.

He continued his exploration of the city, inspecting the buildings in search of a place to settle. "The architecture, the streets, and the interiors are strange and small," he thought.

"How do the people of this planet live in such conditions?" Boros wondered as he wandered.

At 2.4 meters tall, Boros faced several problems during his visit. Every door was too small for him, every bed too short, every table too low. He had already lost count of how many chairs he had broken just by sitting on them due to his weight. Lastly, he had damaged numerous door handles because he used too much force to open them.

"Ha, I feel like I won't last long," Boros sighed, looking at his body, which was still in his released form. "I need to find another armor to control my power. I can't stay in this form every day, it causes too much destruction around me."

Boros spent a couple of hours exploring and trying to adjust his power, a nearly impossible task without his armor. Suddenly, he sensed someone approaching.

"Hey, Boros," said Saitama, walking toward him with Genos by his side.

"Master, who is this monster? Do you know him?" Genos asked, perplexed that his master seemed acquainted with a monster.

"Ha, you know the monster that attacked the city with the spaceship?" Saitama replied. "Boros is their boss."

"What?" Genos shouted, immediately going on guard.

"Yeah, we fought, and I defeated him," Saitama said. "Since he's the only monster to survive my fists, I allowed him to move to City Z as long as he doesn't hurt anyone."

"Ha, as expected from Master. He can even become friends with a powerful monster," thought Genos, before turning to Boros. "I am Genos, Saitama's disciple."

"I am Boros, the Dominator of the Universe," replied Boros. "So, you're Saitama's disciple. You must be strong."

"Let's have a fight, and you'll see," Genos proposed, intrigued by Boros' survival against Saitama. "With this fight, I could better understand the gap in power between me and my master."
