Alr I don't really expect a lot of people to really care abt this story but I felt like it was worth explaining the reasoning behind my disappearance, well in terms of writing that is.
Tbf I have to come out clean with why I started it. A main reason was that yes I wanted to make a story I thought could be cool and interesting and just wanted to explore my ideas.
But at the same time I wanted to make this story somehow, someway profitable in a sense that if I can grow a fan base big enough step by step I could start a patreon and earn money if some ppl followed. It's one of the easier ways to earn money while in Uni, in my opinion.
But as I wrote I realised that I'm not built as a writer not because I couldn't explain stuff or be imaginative but rather I cannot write as fast and precise to keep up with a lot of the creators. Whether they be posting their original fiction or even translated works.
And eventually the love and ideas I had for this fic just slowly dwindled really.
And in turn if I do start a patreon or some other thing I will not be able to keep up and if I did continue I would be either:
A) Publishing half assed chapters that repeats a lot of the content just for word count and stuff.
B) Be super inconsistent with everything and not really give a shit abt the story plot or characters.
Or the worst one which is something I very much could've done:
C) Rely on Ai to generate me content.
Don't get me wrong I have no issues with relying on Ai to proof read and correct mistakes, I did it for this story itself used both Gpt and grammarley to proof read everything.
But I don't like AI generating the story itself. And recently WN and other sites are flooded with Ai generated content and ppl profit off it using patreon.
Which honestly would fit into my goals to make money if I wanted to profit off this story.
But at the same time it's not my story as much as I would love to go parade around and earn money.
So I thought abt it and I decided to take a break. A relatively long one but a break.
I decided to just cool down for a while not write anything even if its a cool fanfic/novel idea. (If there's anyone that remembers my past works would know lol, I used to just post whatever fanfic idea I had on my mind without a care).
So I've just been doing other things, reading more stories to grasp on how some of these authors manage everything and yh I think I have a clearer head now. I won't be posting immediately but I'm learning ig.
