Looking around as find myself standing in a field of grass as floating mountains and cities dotted the sky. Creating a beautiful scenery as I spread my spiritual energy to find anyone who can give me more information.
Before I could do that, a floating speaker floated down low enough to be seen by me as I spot a couple more in the distance. As the speaker turned on if the static its producing was a good sign there's someone else using the speaker.
"Testing 1,2,3… Good we're live. For the rookies taking the second-floor test under my supervision. You're first round test will be a survival test to start out. The speakers sound a alarm to notify the survivors that this round is over. Begin!" As soon as the game started the sound of fighting began to echo out in all directions. Moving my head back as I caught an arrow that would've went through it.
Sending it back to its owner as a yelp sounded out from the tall grass as another person jumps out with a sword from the opposite direction of the injured person. Only to receive a uppercut that sent him back to his hiding spot.
Deciding it's best to find this Baam person above everything else since it'll be a bad day for both of us if these groups find out there are irregulars entering the tower. As I walk through this grassland enjoying the breeze that's blowing. While ignoring everything else that was happening around.
Knowing this is a test of the survival of the fittest. Gave enough reasons to ignore the weaklings who aren't worth my attention. Spending most of the day just observing everyone fighting until a group of three decided to go on a massacring spree. As they slaughter the rookies with overwhelming strength.
With one of the women and the only guy mainly acting. Killing most people with a single kick or oversized fist from the big guy who is several feet bigger than everyone they've came across. Eventually making their way towards me as they chased a rookie who managed to escape from the group, they were apart of after they attempted to gang up on those three.
"Run! There's a princess in that group!" Spotting me as he ran. The escapee tried to warn me as he ran past me. Looking in the direction he was coming from. Three people wearing robes walked in this direction as the one in the rear pointed at me. As the leading person begins to sprint in my direction. A lot faster than the escapee who ran past earlier.
"You're the last one besides that coward." Screaming as they ran at me while pulling their hood down revealing a woman. Short brown hair that stops before her shoulders as a single horn grew out of her forehead. Kicking the ground when she was less than 100 yards from me as she launched like a rocket towards me. Spinning in midair as she rotated her body increase amount of power she could generate from her petite body.
Raising arms up to block her kick as I underestimated how much strength she has as I slide back a couple feet from the momentum she had. Before I could reorientate myself, the big one appeared beside me as swung his fist only to meet air as I rolled under his hook.
With his arms still in motion giving me a chance to strike him in the gut as I feels like my hand just hit a rock. Giving me a reminder that I'm not dealing with the normal monster I used for training within the Realm of the Dead.
"So, let's take it up a notch." Mobilizing my inner energy to cloak me as orange flames begin to grow over my skin as I keep it from influencing the rest of my body. With no need to turn into a element or my true form I could only entertain myself with beginner skills like exuding mana to enhance my attacks with elements.
"Cute flam-"The horned one attempted to comment on my flames only to be met a fist she probably didn't realize was there until she was sent flying. As her big partner tried to catch me off guard again only to receive a front kick to the gut that sent him a couple feet back. As he begins to charge again without any hesitation.
"You remind of Rob. Such a unkillable bastard but loyal none the less." Feeling like I'm dealing with the zombie my teacher used as training partner. As I crack my knuckles getting myself ready for the work out, I'll have.
Dashing at the big guy as I appeared behind him. Taking his feet from under him as he begins to fall only to be met with a flaming uppercut that sent him flying a couple feet. As a axe kick landed against his shoulder sending him face first into the dirt. Swing a fist forward as it lands squarely against the foot of the horned girl who tried to catch me off-guard as the strength behind her kick was lacking.
Causing her to be sent flying back towards their last teammate who is the weakest but the second I move in her direction. The big guy would immediately shift focus to a kill mode if the bloodlust from the guy was anything to go by. Yet this time the last woman raised her hand causing the big guy to stop in his charge as he looked at her.
As she stepped up while pulling her hood down revealing a blonde girl with freckles. Offering a warm smile or what would be considered as warm if I didn't have the ability to see souls as her's was as black as my flames. Giving me enough reasons to never give her a chance to stab me in the back as even the big guy with sinister aura had a brighter soul then this blonde girl.
"Let's stop with the fighting for now. I think talking will help all of us out. I'm Racheal." Walking up as she spoke before offering her hand in greeting. As revolting feeling could be felt in my gut towards dealing with this snake.
Unknowingly releasing my hold over my mana as stare at this woman with a straight face. While her team positioned themselves to continue fighting, if necessary, as the mana leaving my body is enough to kill normal people as these three stood their ground.
"Talking is only done by two equal parties and why would I want to talk to three brats who went on a killing spree?" Questioning the Racheal as she swallowed her next words when she saw the look in my eyes.
"BRRRRRT, this round is over! All survivors proceed to the next stage." Continuing to stare her down before turning and walking off. Deciding it isn't a good idea to cause problems for myself already.
Yet someone decided they weren't done yet as an oversized needle is thrown in my direction only for it turn into ashes before it could reach me. As the group find themselves one person down as I hold Racheal by the neck as her feet kick in the air.
"That's enough or do I need to beat the four of you into submission?" Looking to my right where I found a red-haired man wearing a white suit that highlights his dark skin. As his hands are in his pocket while locking eyes with me. Hinting for me to continue so he can cut loose himself.
Tossing Racheal at the horned girl as she caches her while I walked off. Ignoring the gaze filled with hatred coming from Racheal. As her team receive harsh criticism from the test administrator while I head into the next testing area.
"How could something like this could happen on the second floor! Evanhalk will have both of our heads once it's known that we've had such a failure on the floor of test." Screaming as they sat at a desk looking at the red-haired test administrator who had the worst possible situation happening. A blonde-haired man wearing a decorated blue robe.
99% of the rookies taking part in round 1 for his group has already died while five rookies managed to pass. With three out of those four being responsible for this slaughter but due to the identities of two of those members. It turned into a bigger headache with a princess of Jahad taking part while teaming up two people with dubious relationships to FUG. Rubbing his face as the headache already started to grow from the possibility that higher level floors will send a Top Ranker to investigate the situation.
Odds are that members sent from the Ten Families would've been a victim of the slaughtering and if its someone connected to the Family Heads then they can go ahead and escape now or wait for death. Looking back up to his test administrator while thinking of ways to fix this.
"For now, separate the only two survivors into Lero's group for the next portion. Keep the troublemakers in the next area for round 3." Dismissing the administrator as he begins to think of a way to fix this.
