The sun rose over New York City, casting its golden light over the bustling streets of NYC. People rushed to work, coffee in their hand, while kids laughed in a nearby park. The world seemed ordinary, peaceful, just like how it is everyday.
In a crowded newsroom, suddenly, a scientist's voice crackled through a live broadcast that was casted through every billboard, TVs and mobiles.
"—repeat, an unknown planetary body has appeared near Neptune. It's massive, roughly ten times the size of our Earth," he said, his voice shaking in pure horror.
…
At the Pentagon, generals stared at the billboards as a grainy image of the planet filled the screen, its surface dark but there was a faint, glowing red colour surrounding it, making it look even more scary and horrifying at the moment.
"How did this happen without detection?" one whispered.
"We need all eyes on this. Get the fucking President," snapped another.
Outside, life went on as usual—until it suddenly didnt.
A low hum, like a deep vibration, started to buzz across the sky. Phones buzzing with emergency alerts. Crowds gathered as news anchors appeared on every screen that was put up in the entire world.
"This is not a DRILL!! A planet is heading straight for our Earth at an unimaginable speed," said one anchor, her voice trembling with fear.
Above, the sky started to darken. Day turned to eerie twilight as the massive planet filled the sky, blocking the sunlights. Its cracked, fiery surface loomed impossibly close, blotting out the sun like it was a child.
Panic erupted into every corner of the world as they all screamed and prayed to whoever god they believed in.
"Oh God, is this a sign of your return!?" A christian knelt on the ground, his hands up in the air, brushing against each other.
"Is this the end of the world?" cried a woman, holding her child.
The ground began to shake violently. People fell to the streets, clinging to each other, crying, praying, or screaming. The planet grew larger, and closer with every scends. The air itself felt really heavy and suffocating at the moment.
And then— it happened.
A flash of blinding light emerged as the planet collided with Earth. The world braced for destruction. People screamed, clutching their loved ones, their final moments flashing before their eyes.
But then, Boom… nothing happened.
The massive planet vanished as if it had never been there. The sky cleared, the sun shone again, and the trembling stopped. People looked around, stunned and confused.
"What... just happened?" a man muttered, his voice shaking at what just happened.
"I—I don't know," a woman whispered, tears streaming down her face as relief washes over her.
The world was unscathed. Buildings stood tall, the ground was firm, and life continued as if the collision had never occurred. But the silence in the air was deafening, a question left unanswered.
For the first time in human history, the entire planet shared the same, exact thought:
What? And Why?

[Unknown]
In a massive forest where, everywhere one's eyes look, there would only be massive trees reaching a height never once seen in earth, their massive bodies covering every bit of sunlight from the sky.
Soft wind travelled in the forest, faintly making the leaves and branches of those trees wiggling a little, the surrounding air was quiet… too quiet with only the sounds of birds chirping and flying could be heard in there.
In the middle of such a forest, there could be seen a young man lying on the soft moss of the grass, sleeping peacefully.
His white t-shirt clung to his chest, lifting slightly to reveal black tattoos curling across his skin. His short black hair was messy, his face calm and still.
Just then, the young man, who was sleeping on the grassy ground, woke up, as he slowly got up.
But the moment he took a good look at what was in front of him, he blinked again, and then again, wondering where the hell he was.
"Where….!?" He softly muttered, looking around confusedly as his iris darted from the tall, massive trees to the mossy, grazzy greenery ground beneath him.
Seeing all of this, confusion hit him like an arrow, as his eyes widened in shock at the current event.
"Wasn't I…. In my apartment just a few hours ago!?" He said, his voice low.. and tinged with hella confusion that washed over him.
Wondering what happened, he slowly sat back to the greenery ground, brushing his hands with the grassy ground to see if he could feel it, and testing if it was even real or… just a dream.
But even then, the texters, the feeling, everything felt too real to be an illusion.
He then turned his head and looked up in the sky, while narrowing his eyes to adjust with the light.
But the moment his eyes captured what was in the sky, his breath got caught up to his throat, too shock to even utter any words as there was not just one sun.
There were TWO SUNS!!
Seeing it made his words stuck to his throat, his entire body freezing like it had been inside of a freezer for countless hours.
"What the… What the hell!?" He whisper, his eyes widening by the seconds as his heart started to pound like crazy.
"T-this… this has to be a f-fucking dream, right!" He stutteredly questioned but it was let hanging in the air.
He rubbed his eyes hard, hoping that this is all just a strange dream that will disappear if he wakes up…. But however times he rubs his eyes or pinch his cheeks, the two suns in the sky didn't disappear, which made his heart sink.
"N-no fucking way!!... D-did I t-transmigrate… like those guys in light novels!?" He muttered, his words stuttering like crazy as he had to accept the fact that this was all real and not just hallucination.
"I-if I did transmigrate… t-then I should have a system.. right!?" He thought.
As he was a avid reader of light novels/Webnovels, he was familiar with the concept of transmigration, system and other sorts of things.
"System!" He tried calling out, hoping a strange blue screen would pop up to help him in this strange world.
"System!!"
"System!!!"
…
But no matter how hard he tries, no such thing as a strange screen pops up… leaving him completely hopeless.
"N-no way… i-i don't have any cheats…"
"T-then how would… I survive here!?... All alone.. in a strange, new world!?" he muttered, his face starting to get pale at the thought of having to face new races, monsters and whatnot.
However, just as he was about to lose all hope… he heard a rustling in the surroundings.
"Wha—"
"Who's there!?" He cautiously looks around, his heart pounding with great fear at the thought of some monsters.
But the moment he called out, a strange rabbit walks out from the bushes.
"O-oh.. it's just a rabbit…sigh.. I got scared for nothing!" He sighs, as relief washes over him.
He then takes another look at the rabbit and suddenly, his heart starts to pound fast… his face becoming pale as the rabbit had a long, peaked horn on top of his head!!
