Sheng Zhi was left in awe by the change in Jin's personality, but it wasn't the time to point it out, he looked at the Elemental, who was startled by the appearance of Wang Jin.
"This is the only chance I might get," Zhi thought, as he signaled Wang Jin to keep the elemental company.
Jin nodded in agreement, and Zhi began to run. Olbivionis, finally noticing their plan, turned towards Zhi. And that was when Jin sent out the chain of heavens.
"What happened mongrel, scared that you will lose," said Wang Jin, mocking the elemental with a smile on his face.
"Don't disrupt the ritual" spoke Olbivionis as he turned his attention towards Jin.
"Ritual, you a cult leader or something?" said Jin in his ever-mocking tone, sending more chains toward the elemental.
The noise of the thunderous crashes reached Zhi's ears, he knew Jin could take on Olbivionis, what he didn't know was for how long. He summoned his book again but this time without his order the book opened a page:

What! Only two magic, thought Zhi as he pondered about his current predicament. He looked towards Jin who was unable to harm the elemental even with his numerous attacks. Zhi took a deep breath, "it isn't the time to be agitated, I should be calm" he thought.
After a second of thinking he opened the book again, and this time he opened the page about the elemental's details.

He went through the details again, "Remnant of soul which comes together in an object"
"An object" Sheng Zhi looked as a realization struck him. Indeed he thought a spirit beast not even 1000 years old and was unharmed by Jin's attacks.
Sheng Zhi knew now what his spells were for, he immediately used search without a shed of hesitation.
The book's pages glowed once more as it revealed an illustration showing the location of the object he sought. Not far from where he stood, it was hidden inside a wall. Zhi ran with all his strength, attempting to use the break spell on that wall.
And tried to use a break on the wall?
Another bad news caught up to him at this point, after using his soul energy for hours he seemed to have run out of it.
Moreover, Olbivionis has already taken notice of his actions, he shifted his attention from Jin to Zhi and as it moved towards him.
The situation was turning from bad to worse, Zhi stood there unable to do anything.
That was when Jin took out a katana from one of his gates and jumped on Olbivionis.
Olbivionis dodged the attack as if it were nothing, but the sword flipped as a reverse attack came back and split him in half, its sharpness was like a blade that was tempered in the fire of age, and executed silently, taking the enemy by surprise.
Tusubame Gaeshi – Swallow reversal.
This act of Jin made the elemental unable to move for some moments, and this was all Zhi needed.
At the top of his lungs, Zhi gave a cry, "Jin destroy this wall."
Jin without wasting any moment took out another blade, as he lifted the katana flames covered its tips, and with a force like that of a volcanic eruption, those flames struck the wall smashing it into pieces.
Ryuhiken – Dragonflight Blade
Zhi didn't waste time anymore he rushed towards the smashed wall and found what he was looking for, a grey book bound by chains, indeed the source of the elemental.
Olbivionis who had finally recovered its shape watched in horror as Zhi plunged his dagger into the book destroying him.
Hence their fight ended, Zhi stood near the book and saw the ring appear. He reached out to it and surprisingly before he could start assimilating with the ring it entered the book.
Zhi could now feel the lost spiritual energy, as he broke through the rank of Spirit Scholar.
On the other hand, Jin felt conscious but tired, he breathed hard trying to catch his breath, as he silently looked over at Zhi who assimilated with his ring.
In around 1 hour the assimilation was complete, Zhi who was now a Spirit master found new energy and knowledge rushing through him.
He immediately wanted to check his status but Wang Jin was more important.
"Jin are you alright?" spoke Zhi in a concerned tone.
"I am" replied Jin as he got up from the ground, congratulating Zhi on his breakthrough.
Zhi hugged him with tears in his eyes, chances of Jin's survival were small but he faced those challenges and stood well in front of him.
Zhi couldn't help but be proud, and sad at the same time after all he wasn't able to fulfill his duty as the eldest.
"Come on Zhi, we are well and good and I believe Chen is as well" spoke Jin with a wide smile, he patted Zhi's shoulder as he said "Stop crying we need to find a way out"
Zhi took control of his emotions, after taking a breath and two Zhi summoned his spirit.
He looked around the cave for something, as Jin gave him a puzzled look.
After a minute he returned with a small lizard.

[Species: White Lizard]
[Age: 10]
[Details: young spirit lizards, their eyes are the only remarkable thing about them]
Before Jin could ask what that lizard was for Zhi smashed its head immediately.
A spirit ring came out of it, which was again taken in by the book.
Jin was left in awe, he never heard or seen someone taking another ring on their first one.
"How did you do that Zhi?" spoke Jin with excitement, but Zhi didn't care his face turned pale as soon as he looked up.
Looking at Zhi's troubled face Jin asked with concern, "What is it Zhi?"
Zhi looked at Jin with a determined look, and said "Jin, step aside I am going to destroy the ceiling"
Jin hesitated, confused. "Why? That's dangerous."
"Chen is up there," Zhi replied, determination burning in his eyes. "He's fighting that damn wolf."

I don't usually do this but today there is something important to discuss.
There is a major change in the main story. (more like time change)
I happened to complete the Soul Land series recently, and after some thought, I decided this story will take place in Bi Bi Dong's era.
To tell the truth, I began this story before I watched the complete series.
and now as a fan of the series and a fan-fic author, I believe I should write what I want.
this change was significant so I am telling you all about this.
I will try to connect the story as smoothly as I can.
