The next morning I wake to maids scattering around my room. I see a beautiful elegant lace white gown. Something a saintess would wear. The maids dress me and do my hair, they also apply a thin layer of makeup to show a natural beauty I never knew I had. Afterwards they gave me a golden pair of heels with diamond embellishing on it. With just one of these heels I could live a life of comfort. They put knee length white socks on then the gorgeous heels. They lastly put a golden flower pendant in my hair. I felt pretty. That was the first time, though I guess anyone can look pretty with a nice dress and some makeup. I stand and they lead me towards the grand hall. I walk past the crown prince, I am about to approach him when I see him clutching his chest as if he is in pain. "Lerape, please come back, Why have you gone for so long, we were supposed to be together, please forgive me." He starts sobbing. If he is having a panic attack i could easily heal him but what is he saying, He just met me. Come back? I don't understand. What does he mean we were supposed to be together. I take a few steps back i accidenly bump into a statue and let out a yelp. He immediately turns to my direction and wipes his face. "Who is there?" He says in a stern voice. I hide behind a walk and cover my mouth. I don't fully understand why I am hiding from him but I just act on impulse. He takes a few steps in my direction and I hear him stop and walk the other way. I let out a sigh of relief. " I was almost caught there." "What are you doing here?" I jump. I could have sworn he went the other way. It was probably a servant, darn it, what excuse should I make. "I uh, was looking for you and thought that you were hurt." He stares down at me. "So then why are you hiding?" "Well, because uh." "What you've just heard, please forget, it has nothing to do with you." I'm dumbfounded. "I, uh alright." He extends a hand. "Come now it's time for the ritual, your dress looks pretty on you." I look down. I'm sure and going to miss this. "Your highness, can I make a request?" He glances at me. "What is it?" When I leave this place, to continue with my life, may I please keep one item that I am wearing right now?" I see him bite his lip, he carries a pained look on his face. "If that is your wish, though, don't be shocked if you end up staying." I smile. I'm going to chose to keep one of the heels I'm wearing, and if lucky, maybe both, I'll find a guy, get a nice house, have a kid, and transfer my savings onto my child. When I die, I'll live in comfort. I'm so excited. I just have to bear a day here, it will surely be embarrassing, but it's all right, I might even dye my hair blonde so I'm not recognizable. I enter the temple room to see lots of nobles all gazing down at me. It's alright, just prove it was a misunderstanding and leave. Everything will be alright.
