The KZ Grosshof-Triengen is situated on a slope. At the top lie the SS-Verwaltungszentren (the SS Organisational buildings), as well as a parking place for transport vehicles. These buildings are not within the barbed wire fence surrounding the Stammlager (main camp).
The Eingangstor (entry gate) and all the Wachtürme (watch towers) are connected by the barbed wire fence. Within this fence are 18 barracks. The two topmost ones are the Kitchen and washing/tailoring barrack. Between/in front of these two barracks is a rather large space. On this rectangular "square" public executions but also the Morgen- and Abendappell take place.
These two barracks (one on the right and one on the left) are the first of 9 in a row downwards.
All barracks between the top two and the bottom four are for sleeping. The 15th and 16th barrack are for the sick, the 17th barrack holds the Krematorium (crematorium) and the 18th the prison.
Most of the Arbeitskommandos are outside of the Stammlager.
From the view of the SS-Verwaltungsgebäuden at the top of the hill to the left outside of the fenced area, there lies the Kommandantenvilla (the house of the head of the camp). The Kommandatenvilla has a pool, and two stories.
