After quite some time, Oliver was seen sitting under a tree by the garden, he was seen reading a book, like the Original Oliver always do. And Albert was watching his Young Master from inside the Star mansion.
The garden of the Star Duchy was wildly own be open to public, because Oliver's little sister, Silvia Eldridge like to play with commoners and the Count doesn't seem to mind about it. So, that made the Astrum garden to be known open to public.
It was peaceful at the garden, yes, there were other kids but they were scared of him because he was known as cold and rude by the other children unlike his sister who was known as a kind and gentle girl, people loved her as much as they love Oliver's brother, Eric Eldridge the first in line heir of the Star Duchy, the people loved him and he also loved the people. Almost everyone in the Star Duchy collectively agrees that Eric should take the role of the next Duke of the Star Duchy.
So, then Oliver was peacefully reading his book, when he suddenly sensed that someone was approaching him, yet he decided to just ignore that person, whoever that person was. But that person just kept getting closer to him, and then suddenly sat beside Oliver.
"Hello, Young Master Oliver."
Said the person, who now sat beside him. He seems cheery and energetic.
Oliver put his book down and looked at the boy beside, who is smiling widely as he stared at Oliver. Oliver sighed deeply, it seems his peaceful day has gone poof.
Further looking at the boy, Oliver realized that the boy in front of him is Nathaniel Godwin, a side character that got killed by Original Oliver because he was getting to close to Isabella. If he remember correctly Nathaniel is a clumsy yet smart character. He got into one of the most favorite school in the whole continent that only nobles can get, but he got in because of his smart brain. He was truly extraordinary for a 'peasant' they say.
"What is it you want?"
Said Oliver as he tried to not to sound harsh to him. After all, even though he is clumsy but he is very smart, it will be very helpful to have him on his side.
The boy eyes sparkled when he heard the Young Master answering him, it was own to everyone that the Young Master was uninterested in anyone, he would usually ignored if someone was calling him or just sent them a glare to them. But the Young answered him.
"Young Master Oliver, it's very nice to meet you in person."
"Oh! And my name is Nathaniel."
Nathaniel said in excitement, he was always warned to not get close to the second son of the Star Duchy, since the rumors said he was very cold-hearted will kill you if you messed with him. But right now, the Young Master is cold yet he was didn't kill and the Young Master also answered him.
"Oh… I see."
"Hello Nathaniel, I suppose it's nice to meet you too."
Oliver answered nonchalantly to Nathaniel as he took his book back to his face. He continued reading his book again, and didn't look at Nathaniel.
"Young Master, can we be friends?"
Nathaniel spat out suddenly, he always wanted to be friends with one of the children in Star Duchy, but Silvia is still very young and Eric was way older than him. But Young Master Oliver was his age. So, he really hoped he could at least be friends with him.
"What? Friends?"
Oliver was surprised on Nathaniel sudden question, he was caught off guard. He out down his book and looked at Nathaniel, Nathaniel was also looking at him. Nathaniel face seems worried for his answer, with another deep sigh, Oliver spoke.
"I guess, we can be friends, Nathaniel."
"Really?!"
'Did the Young Master just agreed?!'
Nathaniel asked back with a surprised but happy expression, he couldn't believe his ears at all, he wasn't dreaming wasn't he?.
"Really…"
Oliver answered Nathaniel doubt, he was really agreed, there's no turning back. And the plus is he will have one of the smartest character in the game. Nathaniel then sat beside him, looking over the book he was reading. Oliver then moved the book down, so that Nathaniel can read the book with him. And Nathaniel did he began to read to book as well, both of them just sat in silence while reading, it was peaceful again. Oliver had to be honest, he didn't mind Nathaniel at all.
Albert, who had watched the whole interaction from inside the Star Duchy had a creepy and curious smile, it really seems the Young Master had really changed, but why did his Young Master changed? It was so interesting to see how his Young Master acted now. He wonders how the Young Master would act to his parents and siblings now, especially to his older brother, Eric Eldridge, whom he had hated before because his brother was the one to be the next Duke. He hoped to see how his Young Master will do in the future because he had changed. Albert thinks he can serve his Young Master a little longer.
