Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Making them see the light.

They were viral and she was now famous. Or well that's what Alex had told her. Apparently the livestream that she held and the videos Alex had done of it had made them go viral.

From all over the world people were sharing the video, reacting to it and talking a lot about it. Their viewer ship on their channels had skyrocketed because of this, Alex was making big dollars, his parents were ashamed, she was confused not knowing what it all really meant, but overall things were great it seemed. Despite them getting a two week suspension from streaming.

So during the very next day she and Alex had gone out mining with pickaxes, as a form of exercise. It was also great for her gathering resources which she now thanks to Alex didn't need to carry back down the mountain alone. Of course Alex made sure to record it all.

And a bit later on that day she then turned to creating a furnace great enough for her to make steel in. Alex did kindly help and so all the heavy lifting was not so heavy. Also Alex knew nothing about mining or blacksmithing or any of it really so it was all good and new useful information for him as well.

After doing that for a time Alex went back home to eat and returned later with hot chocolate for her to drink. Lili wanted to give a kiss just then as a thanks, but Alex said no. His parents apparently wouldn't approve and so he had to decline and instead wait until they were married.

After that as the hour was getting late did Lili then change into her Elven priestess costume. For as always in the late hours of the day they headed off to play, with Alex's parents permission of course and under their watch.

And although they were suspended from streaming they could apparently still record videos and play, so that's what they did. They could also connect with their team just then like always and so the day quickly passed, with Alex acting as their leader and coach.

But to Lilis surprise the gaming session did come to a quick and sudden end as Alex apparently had school the next day. His graduation was but a few weeks away, but until then he needed to go to that violent place.

It was sad to know that he was going to go to that place. But like many things here she just had to observe and learn for the time being. And so Lili returned back to her little hut to sleep and rest.

And as dawn came again and Lili went to watch Alex leave for school she came up with an idea. Sure she could continue doing what she had been doing now, or she could do something better, not for her, but her team and everyone else.

After all these people were misguided, unhealthy, fat, violent, lost and without god. So seeing as the library or no-one here seemed to hold the word of god. Lili felt that It now fell upon her as the only true believer here, that she at least knew of to write down the words of god. And not only write them down, but speak them and spread them onto others as well.

After all her team of girls and Alex might have been friends, but they lacked a common ideology, a way of life and faith. For faith gave purpose and it gave people motivation to be something more than what they were.

Like Jesus showed his followers the ways of building strength, the ways of helping others, the ways of fighting, fishing, loving and so many other things. She now needed to bring these thoughts and ideas upon her team and all who might be willing to listen. And to do this she figured that she would need paper, and a pen.

So after she waved Alex a good buy, she then went to his house and knocked on the door. And as it opened she hesitated as she saw the handsome man looking down at her as he said. "Lili what are you doing here? Alex just left for school, shouldn't you also be going to school now?"

Shaking her head lightly Lili said honestly. "I don't need to go to school."

The man seemed to figure out something as he heard this, as he then said. "Oh, so I guess your school year already ended then? It sure is nice to be young. Damn I miss my own summer holidays, those truly were the days. Oh but you wanted to ask something right, so how can I help?"

Thinking of her question Lili felt a bit embarrassed. She should have known the answer to her own question but she was having a hard time remembering it exactly and so she asked shyly. "Mmm, so could you show me how to make a printing press? I need paper to make a book?"

Seemingly confused the man then said. "What, a printing press? Why do you need such a thing for making a book. If you want to make a book or something for a school project then just feel free to use my printer, it's right over there."

The man pointed behind himself to where the living room was. And there Lili could see a big white box like thing. Immediately her eyes lit up at the sight of it, she did a quick bow of gratitude to the handsome man and slipped past him.

Going to the box Lili noticed that it had a locker that could be pulled out. Seeing it she pulled it open and there she saw it, a huge stack of white paper. Why was all this paper being held in such a fancy looking box, or was it a machine. This she didn't know but she did feel impressed at the box's look.

Seeing it her eyes lit up, as she then turned to look at the man behind her with a pleading expression as she asked. "Oh mister, can I really use all of this?"

The man raised a questioning eyebrow at her as he said. "Hmm, well yeah of course. It's just paper after all. Although you know you could have just used the printer, if you're gonna write a book by hand that's definitely not going to be easy."

How was she to use this printer, this she didn't know. But one thing she did know and that's when she looked at him with determination and said. "No great thing worth doing is ever easy."

The man laughed lightly as he heard this and then said. "Hah, that's a good one. Well I gotta go now to fix the roof and do some maintenance on the property. But I won't be far so come give me a call if you need anything. Or you can just go to the lodge to get Helen."

Hearing these words Lili felt overjoyed, these people were most definitely not nobles, but they sure were nice. To give her access to all their land and to give her permission to do anything here, she was more than happy to hear this. And so she quickly said a thanks, took a pen from the living room table and went to work.

The handsome man named Ludwig also headed off to his own work, but as he got to the doorway he turned to look at her and asked. "Don't your parents have any paper at home? I mean no offence, but like really?"

Shaking her head Lili honestly answered. "No."

Ludwig seemed baffled by this as he wished her luck and exited the house. Sitting alone at the nice kitchen table, she then happily began to write down all that she knew of the book of beginnings. From it's outset appearance to its beautiful imperial style letterings and words Lili made sure to make it all perfect there.

She might not have known how to write like they did here, but she did know how to write in the High Imperial dialect and its artistic letters. Writing down the letters, drawing the glorious pictures of the all so muscular and perfect Jesus, Lili was focused.

From the very beginnings of everything, to the creation of heaven and everything else she began to go through it all with great care. Quickly time passed, the handsome man came to sit by the table to eat his food while he silently observed her work and then he said. "Wow kid, where did you learn to draw like that? And what's up with those fancy letters, what language is it?"

Smelling the food and hearing the mans question, Lili couldn't help but drool a little as she answered him by saying. "Thank you. I'm writing in High Imperial, humanities one and only true language within the stars. And no, no-one really taught me how to write it like this, I'm merely copying that what I know of the book of beginnings. Although the Sargent did of course show me how to write the letters, but how I write is solely a copy of that one and only holy text."

To these words the man named Ludwig merely huffed lightly at and said. "Hah, kids these days sure are something. Well its no wonder that you and Alex get along as well as you do. Here have some toast and feel free to eat whatever you want, you seem hungry, hehe."

Ludwig pushed a plate full of toast, some eggs and bacon to her as he then cleaned his hands and left. Watching him go, Lili could feel her heart flutter a bit and warm up to him. Not only was he handsome, tall and really strong, he was also kind it seemed. He was much like Alex, only a bit better in many ways.

But no, he wasn't better, he was actually a bit worse. For he didn't believe at all. The man was so ignorant that he had let his core of light die out a long time ago reducing him to the level of a normal human.

Just thinking of it now, made her feel so mad and so she yelled at him. "Wait!"

Stopping at the doorway Ludwig turned to look at her and with that happy, but oh so ignorant expression he asked. "Hmm, what is it?"

Gritting her teeth Lili looked to him and hopped off the chair as she pointed her finger accusingly at him and said. "You don't believe right? You think of me writing the book of beginnings to be a joke or something, right? Well its not and I'm not some stupid naive child, I'm Lili and I have faith unlike you!"

Ludwig was clearly distressed by her sudden burst of anger as he muttered out some words saying. "What, what are you talking about? What's wrong Lili?"

Hearing this Lili went to the kitchen counter, grabbed a long knife from there and turned to look at the now horrified looking man. "Hey, hey, just calm down ok, Lili. Its ok."

His words and lack of understanding merely now worked to fuel her dissatisfaction. So she put her left arm forward, and with her right she placed the knife upon her left wrist. Then she frowned and spoke with no hesitation as she said. "No, it's not ok. Ludwig you lack faith, you don't believe and so it falls upon me to make you believe. Now look upon me and witness a miracle as I cut my self."

Immediately after saying this the man suddenly turned serious and without any hesitation within his eyes he rushed towards Lili. Seeing it Lili smiled, this was a good man, but not good enough and so she ran the blade across her left wrist.

It stung a little, there was blood and then Ludwig came with force. He grabbed the knife out of her hand and tossed it away as he looked upon her wound with a mix of rage and concern as he said. "What's wrong with you, you stupid girl? Are you crazy?"

Lili merely smiled at him and then her left arm began to glow. Ludwig's eyes widened and he stepped back in shock at the sight. "Huh, What the fuck? You're glowing, but how! No, wait, but then that means that it was you then? You were in the forest that night, weren't you? You saved me, didn't you? But how, how is this possible? Who are you?"

With her hand almost healed within an instant and seeing the man's positive reaction. Lili placed her hands on her hips, looked up to him and spoke confidently. "Who am I you ask? Well I like to call myself just Lili, but as for who I am. Well I'm what some call a descendant of god, a descendent of his children and a holy being or simply just an angel in training. Now kneel, swear obedience to me and I will show you the way of the church of light. The real church and not the one that you follow."

Ludwig seemed hesitant for a second, but without any complaint he then fell to his knees and held his head low before her. Looking upon the man Lili could see his soul start burning with righteous passion towards her and as she saw it she knew that he was hers.

Her decision might have been rash, and quite a gamble. But knowing humanitys dark future, she felt that there was no other choice. She couldn't just keep on sitting on the sidelines trying to do everything on her own.

She could not carry much of anything on her own as her body was not physically strong at all. And for her to build any real defences and arms for humanity that would make a real difference against those beasts just wasn't possible.

She needed allies and most of all friends that she could trust. Friends like Eric, Kristy, Alex and his family, and maybe even the girls also. She needed followers, she needed power and workers to build up that power of hers and so that's what she planned to do.

She was going to re-establish the church of light here and see humanity prosper and spread amongst the start's. Humanity would be made to rule over all, take all and be all powerful. She would see humanity bring peace, freedom, justice and most of all balance to all of existence, even the heavens and Hell's itself.

Or well that's what the book of beginnings talked about. It said that humanity was to bring balance and peace to all, so that's what she was going to do. After all she was a good girl, right?
