"My apologies, miss, but I'd like to speak with your companion alone," said the gypsy, addressing Aria just as we were about to follow her into one of the tents.

"As you said, he's my companion. I'll go wherever he goes," Aria replied, her mistrust evident in her piercing gaze.

"Relax, Aria. I think I need to handle this alone," I said, feeling uneasy about how much this gypsy seemed to know. I didn't want Aria involved with her.

"But… but, Ignis…"

"Please," I pleaded. My tone finally seemed to quell Aria's insistence.

"Fine. If you've settled that, young Ignis, follow me. As for you, miss, feel free to explore our caravan if you wish."
