As the woman picked up speed, seemingly about to escape his grasp, the man from the Uchiha clan acted decisively, unleashing their clan's pride: a powerful Fire Release jutsu.
Four fiery dragons surged simultaneously from above, below, left, and right, aiming at the seemingly defenseless woman. However, instead of showing fear, the woman sneered coldly. In a swift motion, she leapt into the air, spun mid-flight, and hurled three kunai, each attached with explosive tags, at the advancing fire dragons.
BOOM!
The ensuing explosion rocked the earth, shaking the surroundings as if to obliterate everything in its path. Yet both combatants deftly evaded the destruction. The Senju woman landed lightly on the river's surface, shielding an object in her right hand behind her while her left hand formed seals, channeling her chakra.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet!"
A massive water dragon erupted from the river, colliding head-on with the fire dragons. Steam billowed into the air, obscuring the man's vision. The woman seized the opportunity, sprinting forward without looking back.
"Senju momoka!"
The Uchiha man's blood-red Sharingan flared to life as he roared, glaring at both Senju momoka and the object in her grasp.
"You child-stealing thief! Give me back my daughter!"
"Hah! Uchiha Huhe, you shameless liar!"
Fuming at his accusation, Senju momoka spun around and yelled back furiously:
"What do you mean your daughter? Shenyue is my daughter—mine!"

"Uchiha Huhe, how dare you say that! Weren't you the ones who kidnapped Shenyue from me first?"
Both parents, their anger boiling over, stopped fleeing or chasing and instead stood on the river's surface, hurling insults at each other. Their heated argument soon devolved into crude exchanges, bringing to mind the chaos of the Warring States period.
Meanwhile, five-year-old Uchiha Shenyue sighed helplessly. She clamped her small hands over her ears, trying to shield her innocent mind from her parents' vulgar words. With another long sigh, she muttered:

Desperate, Momoka had no choice but to seek out Huhe, dragging him into her plight to supply chakra to their unborn child.
After all, he was the father. If she was going to die, she wasn't letting him off the hook.
However, even with Huhe's help, the child's appetite for chakra only grew. Both parents were reduced to husks, teetering on the edge of death. Realizing they needed help, they deliberated on who to approach.
The ideal candidate had to possess massive chakra reserves, have some relationship with them, and—preferably—share a bloodline connection with the child. When all factors were considered, only two people fit the criteria: Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama.
Hashirama, with his boundless chakra and benevolent nature, would have been the perfect choice. But his scheming younger brother, Tobirama, posed a serious problem. If Tobirama learned about the pregnancy, the child would be in immediate danger, regardless of Hashirama's protection.
