"Here's your orange juice!"
Shirayama didn't drink alcohol since he was still underage. Instead, he discovered a small island 30 nautical miles from Kuro Island, where lush orange trees grew, producing juice that was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. After tasting it once, he became hooked.
"Haha! Nothing beats food made by my lovely wife—so delicious!"
Like many pirates, Shirayama ate with reckless abandon, tearing into meat and guzzling down orange juice. His table manners left much to be desired, but Aki didn't mind. She sat across from him, eating gracefully and quietly, her serene demeanor radiating a charm that made her beauty even more captivating.
As night fell, the island, lacking much in the way of entertainment, grew quiet. After dinner, Shirayama spent another four hours training, honing his control over his Devil Fruit powers.
Meanwhile, Aki sat by his side, quietly weaving clothes for him.
They were the picture of an enviable couple.
But after enduring a month of restraint, Shirayama's patience snapped. Like a hungry wolf, he pounced on Aki, who resembled a gentle lamb, leaving no mercy in his wake. Their night was one of passion and tenderness.
The Next Morning
Shirayama dragged himself out of bed with dark circles under his eyes, visibly exhausted yet still determined to continue his training. His steps were wobbly, his body overworked.
Aki, on the other hand, slept in, only waking up late in the morning. By the time she emerged, Shirayama had already prepared a nutritious breakfast for her.
After Aki finished eating, Shirayama suddenly said, "Let's take a break from training today. I'll take you out to see the world. How about it?"
"Really?" Aki's eyes lit up with excitement. She had never been beyond the confines of the island before.
"Hold on tight; we're heading out!"
Shirayama carried Aki onto a boat he had specially crafted for outings.
The so-called "small boat" was anything but—it was 12 meters long and 4 meters wide, making it quite spacious for just two people.
"Here we go!"
With a sharp look of focus, Shirayama activated the boat. From the stern, a brilliant white glow erupted, propelling the vessel across the water at high speed.
Senganshima Island
This was a 50-square-kilometer archipelago where Marine Captain T-Bone was stationed. His responsibility was to patrol a 100-nautical-mile radius in the East Blue. The island was divided into three smaller islands: Zensha Island, Koshin Island, and Chūren Island.
Zensha and Koshin Islands were bustling hubs of trade and commerce, while Chūren Island housed the Marine branch headquarters, which was under strict military governance with no civilian access.
But on this day, Senganshima Island was on high alert. Alarm bells rang across the harbor, where rows of Marine soldiers stood at attention. At the forefront stood Captain T-Bone, his massive sword in hand, his expression grim.
"What is going on? Why is a pirate with a 57 million-berry bounty appearing in the East Blue?"
Not far from the harbor, three colossal ships, each with a displacement of 16,000 tons, floated ominously. Black pirate flags bearing identical insignias fluttered from their masts.
On the bow of the central ship stood a towering man over five meters tall, flanked by a crew of fierce-looking subordinates. The other two ships housed five more pirates, each emanating an aura of power and danger.
The man on the main ship was Chris, a Zoan-type user of the Tiger-Tiger Fruit, a mutated form that granted him immense strength. His bounty was 57 million berries—a notorious, savage fighter from the Grand Line.
"Can someone tell me why the Tiger Pirates, who belong on the Grand Line, are here in the East Blue?"
T-Bone's hands trembled slightly as he gripped his sword. Cold sweat dripped down his face, and his mouth felt parched. The sight of the Tiger Pirates had him visibly shaken, his confidence wavering in the face of the challenge.
