Chapter 67 - Declined

Emma's jaw dropped as the waiter began setting dish after dish on the table. Her eyes widened as the whole table was soon filled with an extravagant spread of food. Although her stomach growled in approval, she was certain she couldn't finish all of it.

"This… this is too much," she muttered under her breath, glancing around to see if anyone else was watching. A few diners turned their heads, but the waiter remained unfazed, simply nodding politely as he placed the last plate.

"Your usual order, Miss Rowan," he said with a professional smile, before stepping away.

Emma blinked at his words, her mind racing. 'My usual? Am I a spoiled brat or what?' she thought, staring at the mountain of food in front of her.

Her stomach growled loudly, betraying her internal debate. "Well," she muttered to herself, picking up her fork, "might as well not waste it."
