Leon was at a loss for words, his gaze fixed on Emma as he tried to process her words. After a pause, he finally spoke, his voice steady but laced with determination. "No… I believe you. So, tell me everything about him, and I promise, I'll make sure he never gets near you again."
"No!" Emma suddenly stood up, her voice trembling. "Just don't…" Her breath quickened, loud and uneven as panic set in. "What if… what if everything I dreamt about becomes real? You'll be in danger, Leon. I can't let that happen!"
