(Third Person POV)
"Emptiness?" Drakken said, "That's what you see? Pfft! Give me a break!"
He turned around and walked a couple of steps.
"What is it you want from me?" Maegelle asked
"Two different ideologies, you and I." Drakken said as he glanced at her, "I know what a god is, girl. I've seen them, walked among them. They are not all what you make them out to be."
"And you claim to be one of them." Maegelle said, "But if I am being honest, all I see is a man. Do gods like yourself prefer this form?"
"What form do you wish for me to take? A cloud of golden dust? A great serpent?" Drakken said with a smirk, "Or perhaps you wish to see my Divine Form? What makes me a Dragon God, hm?"
"I have heard of what you are capable of. You are more sorcerer than god." Maegelle said, "That is all."
Drakken chuckled, "Two completely opposite ideologies. I know what I god is, girl." He said, "But I cannot move a stubborn person's heart."
"I ask you again. How many followers do you have?" Maegelle said, "For what is a god without its believers? What good is their religion is nobody follows them?"
"Here, I have few." Drakken said, "But back where I am from. I had plenty. Enough."
"The God of War and Death. What does that mean? Men pray for you when they wage war?" Maegelle asked
"That is correct." Drakken turned to face her, "That is a god of war, they are prayed to for favor in battle, much like your Warrior. But unlike him, I actually grant blessings."
"If both sides of a war pray to you, which side do you take?" Maegelle tilted her head
"I grace both sides and see which one wields my power better. The one that does end up victorious." Drakken said, "Gods aren't mighty and powerful because people worship them, much like most believe. They are already powerful and they decide to aid and bless those who worship and pray to them."
"And what does a God of Death do?" She asked, "Do you prevent death? Do you reap souls?"
"Preventing deaths is one way to put it." Drakken said, "My followers do favors for me and I give them an aspect of immortality."
"If you keep many from dying, it would simply disrupt the balance of the world." Maegelle said, "That would only lead to chaos."
Drakken gave her a smirk, "I know." he said, "That is the point to a certain degree."
"I am a woman of the Faith, a Septa." She said, "I do not wish to be bothered any longer."
"You are a King's daughter, a daughter that was promised to me." Drakken told her, "I will bother you as much as I please."
Maegelle shook her head, "I was promised to the gods, nobody else."
Drakken snapped his fingers and the entire building began to shake, causing her to to flinch in surprise.
"For a little girl, ten of six, you seem to be quite smart." Drakken said, "I do not think I have known women that were that connected to their emotions at that age. You impress me, Maegelle Targaryen....."
The building was still shaking, but Maegelle quickly composed herself, "It is Septa Maegelle...I am a Septa, I have cast aside my surname...." She said calmly as she looked at him, "W-What is this supposed to be?"
"This is power? You think a mere sorcerer of this world is capable of this? I am a god, girl. What would it take for you to understand that? Not just you, all of you fools." Drakken said with a serious glare, "Do you need me to raise the dead? Do you need me to turn the skies red, turn your water into blood, what is it? What would it take for my power to be noticed? I am more of a god than your Seven will ever be. A simple snap of my finger and all of your Father's dragons are under my control. Can any Sorcerer do that?!"
"Is it not magic?" Maegelle asked
"It is the power of a god." Drakken said
The shaking then stopped and Drakken reached for Maegelle's cheek, the young Targaryen did not flinch at this.
"What is it you want?" Maegelle asked
"You." Drakken said, "I have come here to collect my payment. Did your Father not tell you what happened?"
"I am aware of what happened." She said
Drakken smirked, "Then allow for this to happen."
"I am sworn to the gods already." Maegelle said
"That is fine. Be sworn to me." Drakken said
"Forgive me, you are no god." Maegelle said seriously
Drakken scowled and pulled his hand away, "Is that so?" He said, "Hm. Continue your praying, Maegelle Targaryen. I will go and have a word with your father."
"Thank you." Maegelle said as she turned around, "If your desire to fill that emptiness is strong, you can kneel in prayer with me."
"Ha!" Drakken said, "Do you truly think a god will pray to another? The last time I did that, I felt nothing but pain and betrayal. Little girl, you are too smart for your own girl."
"If you caused these candles to turn off, please light them again." Maegelle said, "It is rude to do that in the first place."
Drakken chuckled, "The gall on you." He said as he snapped his fingers, "Very well."
The candles immediately lit up again and their light illuminated the sept once again. Maegelle then knelt down again to resume her praying, ignoring Drakken.
There was something unusual about the way Maegelle carried herself with Drakken that intrigued him. Most people, especially women, thay Drakken had encountered had shown nothing but fear and unease when shown the power he possesses. But not Maegelle, whether it be ignorance or courage.
A slight smile crept up on Drakken's face, "You are an interesting girl." He said as he turned around and began to walk away, "I will not willing let this opportunity go. To make sure you realize your beliefs are wrong. To make you understand that I am a god. A real god."
"Unlike your false idols."
