Miranda, who wasn't concentrating on her work like before, didn't seem to notice that I had touched her body. With her curiosity for my skills that were growing rapidly, I tried another experiment, even though Miranda might get angry at me. I pinched Miranda's arm with a strength that wouldn't be blocked by the level 3 [Sensory Block] skill that I had been experimenting with on myself. Now that the skill was at level 3, I had to pinch her quite hard for her to feel pain that wouldn't be blocked by the skill.
If I had cast [Sensory Block] on myself, I would have felt considerable pain instead of being able to block this level of pain. However, Miranda was calm, as if she didn't feel any pain. Does this mean that regardless of the amount of stimulation applied to the target, only the sensation the person feels matters? I didn't know this because I had never used the skill on someone who had dull senses.
