Other students wanted to try but there wasn't enough time.
"Bye guys. See you tomorrow" Velan opened the door to a storage and walked there. He then walked out and went through the normal enterance. It seems his alcochol levels are still as high as ever.
After that it was math. Tania was struggling to grasp the concepts so Alice was helping her through that.
"I don't think I will like math..." Tania said. "but its not as scary as it looked at first" She added. Her notepad had her blurry handwriting mixed together with Alice's simple and compact writing which was there to help the dryad understand what's happening.
"I didn't enjoy it either when I was starting to learn it" Alice blurted it out.
"How did you even learn it if you didn't attend any school before ?" The dryad asked her.
"Uuuh...." Alice had to make a lie up to explain it. "I homeschooled myself" She stared at Tania if she will buy it.
"Wow you are so smart then. I hope I will get good soon aswell" A bit of jealousy can be heard in her voice.
"Its okay. I bet you will be great in no time. Now back to the class" Both of them went back to learning math.

After math class it was time for the lunch break. They walked over to the cafateria. It was already filled basicaly to the brim.
"Its even fuller than the place where we took our exam" Tania was looking at all the different groups forming in the cafateria. There were people in robes throwing spells in the air, Muscular swordsmen flexing their muscles, students sitting together and talking about different blueprints, chunibyos acting like they are the reincarnations of the demon king with tatoos all over their arms, and many many more. Too many to count.
"Tania come here" Alice called out for her "We need to wait in line to get food" They waited and waited until it was their turn. Thanks to being in A-class their choices and quality of food was far greater than those in lower grades. It was the first time both of them saw such delicacies. There was everything. From a normal cow steak to magic beasts meat. Both of them ordered and found two empty seats to sit at.
"What did you get Alice ?" The dryad asked.
Alice showed her meal. She got fried rice with beef and bean sprouts. It was on the lower end of the menu but she has been feeling pretty homesick lately so she was really happy to fill her stomach with a familiar flavour.
"You are pretty humble" She added.
"I just felt like eating it today. Next time I will take something as amazing as you did" Alice pointed to Tania's meal.
It was just a piece of mana bear steak but the glow that it gave off made it look like something to stare at instead of eating. Both of them dug in into their food. Even though Alice's meal was so basic it tasted amazing. Maybe because of their intense training ? Maybe because she was homesick? She didn't care and finished it quickly.
"That was good" She looked at Tania who had problems with eating the big piece of meat. She was trying to chew it off with her teeth only. "There let me help you" Alice took Tania's knife and fork cutting piece of the meat and pointing it to Tania's mouth. "Here. Open wide" She smiled.
Tania turned a bit red on her face but she opened her mouth and ate it. "It tastes so good...." She was lost in the amazing flavour "Give me more !" She demanded more. Her mouth drooling and her eyes shining. Alice kept giving her chunks of meat and she was eating them. Loving both the flavour and being fed by Alice. When both of them were done they went to their last class of the day which was with their homeroom teacher.
And it turned out that their homeroom teacher was Valen again. This time he wasn't late but for a different reason than one would expect. It turned out that he couldn't stand still long enough to open the door, so he just went to sleep again.
"Okay guys. So again I am Valen Hoogan as some of you already know. I will be your homeroom teacher" There was even bigger shock this time than during the magic class because he sounded completly sober. "Oh ye and I ran out of alcochol so I have to power through this as fast as possible. If you have any questions go ahead and ask them. And if you don't the rest of the time we have for this you can talk between each other"
The class was silent as no one had any questions.
"I guess you are free to talk to each other then" He said before sitting down.
The classroom filled with chatter as classmates finally had time to talk with each other.
A few people approached Tania and Alice.
"We wanted to ask about how did you get so fast with air. Isnt it a spell for pushing your lugage around ?" The bravest one of the group asked.
Alice chuckled a little "I actually never even thought of using it to push stuff around. But it sounds like the most obvious use of it yes. But it has even more utility to offer." She stood up to show them. "For example imagine of this box right here as yourselves" She used her finger to hit the small wooden box on her desk. Sending it a small distance away. "And now the same thing with air. But not as an empowering spell that will send you flying but a continous state that will help you the entire duration of your moveement" She hit the box again. The air around it made it float removing friction between itself and ground making it fly off the desk and on the ground. "So something like that"
The small group looked dumbfounded. "But for that you would need to precisely control your mana with each step or it will do more harm than good!" One of the girls in the back said.
"Yes exactly. I don't think its a normal sight to see someone with control like that during the first year" All of them nodded.
Alice was confused what did they mean. It was very easy for her and she didn't even use her rend for it. "Well i had a lot of practice to time it correctly" She said. The bell rang shortly after.
