"So this is how it ends ?" Alice thought to herself while bleeding out. She tried saving a boy in distress while he was being attacked by a pack of thugs but in the end she ended up getting beaten and stabbed instead, her injuries were too much to survive. Alice could hear an ambulance siren, but it was slowly fading away as she was losing consciousness.

"i hope the boy is safe.... i wish i could have done more" She contemplated her decisions so far. Her life started flashing before her eyes, starting from her childhood which she spent in poverty, going through her teenage years when both her parents passed away, and ending now. In her young adulthood which she spent by working. She made a lot of money but didnt have use for it so she always just anonymously donated most of it to charities. But one thing that never changed was her dreams of being a hero like in her favorite books. Alice left out one final chuckle about the situation before bleeding out to her death

"Wake up!" someone called out for her

"wha-WHAT ??!" She screamed out as she opened her eyes and found herself floating in a black void. She could see a figure emiting light in front of her but when she tried to make out the shape of the person her head started to hurt

"Dont even bother it won't work" The figure exclaimed "I just wanted to ask you one question. Why do all of this ? You would have been able to live a life of luxury and be safe if you just thought of yourself." The bright figure aproached her closer and waited for her answer

"I ..." Alice pondered. "I just thought that they needed help" She looked at the creature and could barely make out a grin on its face before it snapped its fingers. Then everything went blank again.

"She will be fine" voices of chatter could be heard "Thank you doctor. I don't know what we could have done without your help. She was just left like that on the road and we couldn't have left her there!" 

"Thank god. i thought i was a goner" Alice thought to herself as she opened her eyes to find that she wasn't in a hospital but a wooden shack ? She was also taken back as she took a look at her reflection in the mirror next to her bed. Her skin looked smoother and her face younger. Even though she was 25 moments ago Alice couldn't believe her eyes as she saw her 16 year old self. 

"Whats going on ?!" Alice screamed out and sat up, alerting the man and the woman in front of her.

"It seems she has woken up" the friendly looking elderly man in a white uniform exclaimed "You are in a hospital right now. My name is Hanes and I am a doctor. You had a stab wound in your stomach and lady Elizabeth brought you to me" He continued while pointing towards the woman. Alice could see the worriness and relief on Elizabeths face, she then took a look at how she looks. Elizabeth looked like a middle aged woman with a very kind face and warm smile.

"Are you feeling better dear ?" Elizabeth asked Alice "Do you know where your parents are ?" she added while patting Alices head. 

"My parents..." Alice tried answering while still assesing whats going on "Ouch!" She covered her belly with her arms. Still feeling the pain of her wounds.

"It seems I've missed a spot. The old age is getting the better of me" Doctor Hanes joked before sitting next to alice and putting his hand in front of her "Don't worry. It won't hurt at all" Alice could see as green particles started emiting from Doctor Hanes'es palm.

"Whats that !" Alice jumped. Scared of the weird light.

"this is my rend, it speeds up healing process if i understand the wound im working on" She could feel the pain in her wounds quickly disapearing leaving nothing but a nasty scar under her ribs.

A strong wind blew through the shack and put out all the candles. "Dont worry doctor i will light take care of it" Elizabeth said as she flicked her fingers emiting flames from them, lighting the candles around the room one by one

All of this overloaded Alice's brain resulting in it frying and making her go back to sleep hoping this is all just a dream.
