Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: He’s Not a Patient Man

"Mr. Yu, congratulations on your successful acquisition of Bosson Group. What are your plans for Bosson's future development?"

"Mr. Yu, Bosson is one of China's top ten enterprises. Do you believe you can elevate it to rival Feng Corporation and become the nation's leading financial conglomerate within the next decade?"

"Ten years?" Yu Aotian's cold, piercing eyes flashed with arrogance as he replied, "Two years is enough." His elegant smile, paired with his domineering and confident aura, left the female reporters utterly captivated.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Yu's subordinates cordoned off the reporters, allowing him to leave unimpeded.

"Boss Yu, the car is ready," a subordinate said as he opened the car door. Upon catching Yu Aotian's grim expression, the subordinate quickly corrected himself. "Mr. Yu, please get in."

"Heh." Yu smirked in satisfaction as he stepped into the luxury vehicle.

"Congratulations, Aotian! You're now China's most prominent businessman," purred a seductive woman seated inside.

"Minako, is this how you're congratulating me?" Loosening his tie, Yu sat down beside her, a wicked grin playing on his lips.

"Oh, Aotian, you're so naughty! Lishang and Longqi are still in the car," Minako replied coyly, glancing shyly at the two men seated across from them.

Yu Aotian's brow furrowed. Without warning, he grabbed a fistful of Minako's hair. "If you're not willing, then get out of the car!" It was clear he wasn't the type of man to coddle women.

"A-Aotian, I'm sorry! I was wrong," Minako stammered, biting back tears as she quickly bowed her head in submission.

"Hmph." He let out a satisfied grunt.

"Aotian, you're not seriously going to 'handle business' in front of Lishang and me, are you?" Longqi teased, a smirk on his face.

Yu Aotian's brow furrowed even deeper. Damn it—whose fault was it that his plans were interrupted? He'd been on the verge of devouring that little lamb, only to receive word that Bosson's chairman had agreed to sign the deal. Forced to rush to China overnight, he'd had no chance to release the frustration building up inside him. "Longqi, if you don't want to die, shut your mouth."

"Tch." Seeing Yu's irritation, Longqi wisely backed off.

Suddenly, the phone rang. After a brief conversation, Han Lishang handed it to Yu, who was adjusting his clothes after "finishing business."

As he listened to the report on the other end, Yu's satisfied expression darkened into fury. "You useless fools can't even keep an eye on a little girl! What the hell am I paying you for?!" He hurled the phone across the car and slammed his fist against the window.

The occupants of the car recoiled in shock.

"What's the matter, Aotian? Why are you so upset? Tell Minako," the woman cooed, leaning into his chest.

Instead, Yu shoved her away and struck her across the face. "Don't think that sleeping with me once makes you my woman. In this world… no one can truly claim to be my woman!"

"Aotian…" Tears welled in Minako's eyes as she stared at him, hurt and confused.

"Woman, you're annoying," Longqi snapped, his patience wearing thin. He yanked open the car door as it sped along the road. Before Minako could plead for mercy, he grabbed her by the hair and ruthlessly tossed her out.

The car finally quieted down.

"Aotian, is she… an important girl?" Han Lishang asked coolly.

Yu's strikingly handsome face turned toward the window. His deep, enigmatic eyes darkened, and for a moment, he seemed lost in thought.

"She's… very important," he murmured softly.
