Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Playing with Fire

In the extravagant and indulgent Japan, the streets were filled with music and crowds, exuding a festive atmosphere.

In the corner of the first-floor lobby of a women's club, Luo Yaoyao, visibly drunk, glanced disdainfully at the two handsome men sitting beside her. Turning to her friend, she grumbled, "Xiao…Xiao Man, you said the men here are supposed to be the… the most handsome. What… what a disappointment!"

"Hey, Xiao Man, we only came because your mom is a regular customer here. Now she says we're not handsome enough. What's that supposed to mean?!" One of the men, offended by the remark, could barely hold back his indignation.

Miyao Xiaoman shrugged helplessly, "I'm sorry, really. She only says stuff like this when she's drunk. My apologies, really."

While her friend whispered apologies to the two companions, Yaoyao's hazy eyes roamed around aimlessly until they landed on the entrance of the club.

A man, dressed in a tailored suit, was walking in. His mere presence commanded the attention of every woman in the room.

His jet-black hair was neatly styled, accentuating sharp, sword-like brows. Beneath them, his long, piercing black eyes shimmered with an irresistible allure. Thin, firm lips and a face with defined contours gave him an air of sophistication. His tall, lean frame exuded a balance of elegance and power. He was like a hawk in the darkness—cold and captivating, radiating an oppressive dominance that made him stand out in the crowd.

Even the men trailing behind him, each with decent looks, seemed overshadowed by his commanding presence. In fact, every male in the club paled in comparison to him in both appearance and charisma.

It's him!

Yaoyao suddenly stood up, pointing directly at the man. "You! Stop right there!"

Her outburst brought the room to a sudden hush. The two men accompanying her stared in disbelief.

"No… no way! Xiao Man, has your friend gone mad? She's actually daring to… to mess with him?!"

"Why not? He's so handsome. Even I want to try hitting on him!" Xiao Man, still oblivious, ogled the man from afar.

"Ugh, Xiao Man, you don't understand. He's…"

"Little girl, are you calling me?" The man's deep voice interrupted them as he turned his sharp gaze towards Yaoyao, his eyes glinting with a dangerous charm.

"Yes," she replied, stumbling toward him. She gave him an approving nod and slurred, "Not bad… you actually look… like a decent escort. Come… come with me." Without hesitation, she grabbed his tie and tugged him towards her seat.

The man's entourage stiffened, their brows furrowing, ready to act. But he subtly raised his hand, signaling them to hold back. Reluctantly, they obeyed and relaxed slightly.

As the man sat down, the two companions accompanying Yaoyao quickly stood up, their legs trembling uncontrollably.

The man let out a soft cough and waved his hand. The two, understanding the cue, quietly escorted Xiao Man, who was still star-struck, out of the room.

Unaware that her friend had left, Yaoyao picked up a glass from the table and handed it to the man. "Here, handsome… drink with me."

The man smirked. Glancing at the offered glass, he casually crossed his legs. The scene looked as though she were the hostess serving him, rather than the other way around.

"Hey, handsome, I told you to drink. Why aren't you drinking? Hurry up! Drink!"

"Hmm?" The man's eyes flickered dangerously as he grabbed her chin. "Little girl, you're underage and causing trouble here. Be careful—you're playing with fire."

The sinister and domineering expression on his face sent a wave of unease through the room. But Yaoyao, lost in her drunken haze, was oblivious.

"Hey, that hurts! L-listen, I'm here to cause trouble today. Who are you to stop me?!"

"Ha, interesting…" He released her and stood up, strolling over to one of his men. Leaning close, he whispered, "Bring her to my room."

A dark glint flashed in his deep eyes as he swiftly disappeared from the lobby.
