Three hours. Three hours was what it took Eduardo to prepare dinner and make sure every one of Marcello's men ate their fill. They devoured the food like a starved lion
Marcello was relieved that they didn't end up breaking the plates. They were panting hard, slurping the spaghetti and moaning in satisfaction.
"You should quit being a bodyguard and become a cook! This was delicious!" The first one complimented, slamming his palm at Eduardo's back.
"This was great! Finally, an edible meal!"
"We'll wash the dishes. Hope you'll help us again tomorrow"
'Tomorrow? Are these people trying to turn me into their slave? Do I have to be nice to them? Tell them no, no!'
"Sure!" Eduardo said with a huge grin plastered on his face. He was unable to say no. He was enjoying his new relationship with the guards. He preferred to be treated as one of them than to be called a stranger or outcast.
