Immediately after entering the third floor, What came into Lu Wuqi's view was a wide range of cloth racks filled with the latest designs of clothes.
The whole place was extremely dark and Lu Wuqi could only see a rough outline of her surroundings but that was enough for her at the moment.
Lu Wuqi entered the third floor through the glass door which was slightly opened and the large third floor with a wide variety of clothing shops came into her view.
Lu Wuqi didn't bother to look at them anymore and immediately started walking silently forward.
Her eyes and senses were maxed out to sense for any little movements around her as the system scanning was also on.
Lu Wuqi noticed that the whole floor didn't seem to be in a messy state which meant that nobody has entered here. After all, in a survival situation, who would bother wasting time to look for clothes.
Lu Wuqi walked forward quickly but without making any sound and immediately noticed that on the wall, there seemed to be a sign pointing towards the staff room.
Lu Wuqi didn't go further but moved around her position a little to let the system scan the whole area for any zombies.
And Lu Wuqi immediately recieved few continuous notifications from the system,
"Host! There are three zombie on the right side, in that separated clothing stall! They seemed to be trapped behind that glass door."
Hearing the voice of the system, Lu Wuqi also craned her neck to look towards the place pointed by the system and immediately noticed three dormant zombies standing right behind the glass of a separated clothing stall.
They seemed to have been trapped here and because the glass door opens only towards the inside and the three zombies were also directly pressed against the door, they simply cannot get out.
It's a good thing that the zombies at this stage doesn't have any intelligence otherwise they would definitely be able to open the door just by pulling it towards them.
Lu Wuqi looked at them and was thinking whether she should deal with them or just leave them here when another notification sounded from the system,
"Host!! There are 2 zombies, one on the east side right behind that clothing rack and the other is in that gap between the two doors!"
Hearing the voice of the system again, Lu Wuqi looked towards the two position and immediately found the zombies. Because the places where the two zombies were happened to be the most dark spot without a single trace of the moonlight, Lu Wuqi couldn't see them at all.
At this point, The two zombies also seemed to have noticed her presence and immediately made a growling sound and started walking towards Lu Wuqi with their bloody hands infront of their chest and their gory mouth wide open.
Fortunately, the separate clothing stalls have some degree of noise cancellation, the three trapped zombies didn't hear their growling and continued to stay dormant.
Lu Wuqi was also ready as she immediately held the kitchen knife and instead of letting them come closer towards her and corner her, she went towards the zombie closest to her which happened to be the one right behind that clothing rack.
The zombie was also slowly approaching Lu Wuqi but before the zombie could take another step, Lu Wuqi had already ran towards it and without any hesitation at all, directly slashed at its neck with her knife in the perfect position.
The knife went through the neck and like cutting a soft tofu, it immediately severed the head of the zombie.
A fountain of blood immediately splattered in all direction but Lu Wuqi was already ready and immediately ran back to the other zombie which was also walking towards her.
Lu Wuqi was running nimbly towards the zombie and didn't have a single drop of blood on her body from the previous one.
The moment she came close towards the zombie, Lu Wuqi jumped slightly and directly pressed her right leg on the chest of the zombie, pinning it on the ground and before it could even think of doing anything, she has already slashed stapped the knife directly on its neck.
But this time, Lu Wuqi couldn't finish the job in one strike. It was not only because from the previous strike on the other zombie, Lu Wuqi could feel that the kitchen knife had become a lot more blunt as the tip of it was even bent slightly downwards.
So, after stabbing the zombie once, Lu Wuqi immediately pulled the knife out and immediately pressed the knife horizontally on its neck but the bluntness of the knife increases with every strike and she could only stab the knife a little deeper on the Zombie's neck but nowhere near enough to cut it.
At this time, some blood has already spurted out from the zombies neck and immediately fell on Lu Wuqi's hand and a little bit in her face which she had previously wiped with great difficulty.
Lu Wuqi was already annoyed from the useless kitchen knife which couldn't even be used more than a handful of times as well as the tense situation from the moment she came into this world and at this time, she was a little angry and instead of pulling the knife with her hands, she stood straight and kicked directly on the knife which was pressed on the Zombie's neck.
As she kicked it with a lot of force, the knife embedded itself even deeper in the Zombie's neck and with another kick on the body of the knife, Lu Wuqi finally severed the head of the zombie.
The killing of both zombies happened within the span of a single minute and Lu Wuqi didn't even waste a single second and immediately pulled the knife out from the Zombie's neck.
She didn't want to leave Yun Qingyue's side for too long. After all, it's unknown whether there are other zombies on the stairs and the mother and daughter would definitely be in danger the longer they stay on the stairs.
Lu Wuqi took one last look at the Zombie's bodies as well as the completely useless knife that she held now which was now completely blunt with a broken tip.
Lu Wuqi couldn't help but think in her heart with a sigh,
"This knife is useless now."
But Lu Wuqi didn't throw the knife away. After all, she didn't have any weapons in her at all and the blunt knife was still more useful than being bare handed.
