Even if one wants to die, they will live by the god's decision untill their times run out. For Ennit Raynor, God had different plans for him. Without knowing the flow of time, he went in deep slumber.
"Mr Hart... Why aren't you waking up?"
A girl's voice traveled through his ears. The voice was soothing and deep. It reminded him of his mother's voice. If only.. she didn't neglect me.
Ennit Raynor jolts awake in cold sweat as his visions and consciousness regain. Why was he alive? The first thing he did was to inspect the room. Looking around, it was a bit more advanced settings in the room. All the furnitures in the room were strangely cyan and white. Every steps he took, the louder the footsteps of the echoes.
Unfamiliar with the room, he turned around to look for a door. Strangely, there was no door. What the hell is this room? Wandering around the room, he finally felt a sharp pain from his leg and abdomen.
Ennit Raynor's face was pale as a white sheet. The pain was intense as if he was about to explode. Both of the injured places were aching as if it was about to fall off. With the unbearable pain, Ennit sat down and tries to calm himself down.
Ennit Raynor is not the average type of person that can handle the pain. In his past life, he was as fragile as a tissue. Even the little blow of wind can make him sick. Not to mention the fact that he stayed indoors for about 8 years after he left home. There were several times when his landlord called the police because she thought he committed.
Drenched in sweat despite the cold wind, Ennit breathe, hoping to catch some relieve of the pain.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
The sound of someone opening a code echoes through the quiet room. Where did he heard that before? Ah right. The apartment doors' lock. Ennit looks at the direction of the sound curiously. Strange. There were no doors.
One of the walls slowly cracked as it opens. What in the hell is this technique? He has never seen this before. Ennit looks at the figure who was slowly appearing from the mist. A tight suit. Gloves. Strange. He has seen this somewhere else.
"Ah. Good timing, Hart. Come to the conference real quick. I got a job for you to finish."
Ennit stares at him blankly. Hart? Who the fuck is that? My family name is....? What was it again? Ennit looked down in disbelief. What was his last name? Before this reincarnation or whatever.
Sensing that something was wrong with Ennit, the man sighed as he took his gloves off.
"Hart. I guess you hit your head too hard. You are suffering from amnesia, aren't you?"
"Come again? Hart? Ah... Nevermind. Could you tell me about my self....Mr?" Ennit said. His expression was cold as ice.
The man looks at him with unreadable expression. Staring down at the man sitting on the cold ground and absolutely doing nothing. It is indeed a strange tension.
"Your name is Ennit Hart. You are 27 years old. And you are now working for Ross&Day as a information collector about the enemy 's locations, backgrounds and the possibility of their movements. You are also in charged of Day cooperation. You're working with us for 6 years now. And I am your senior, Kaiser Huang."
Kaiser explained him with necessary information he needs to know with patient.
"Am I a spy or something?"
Ennit body asked while pointing a finger to himself. It seems a bit silly. But it was ever more silly because he asked with a straight face with absolutely no shame.
Kaiser wanted to burst out laughing but he holded it. Something was very off with Ennit. Although, Ennit is usually a coward who wouldn't dare to even lift a finger if his superior told him to. But this Ennit who had amnesia was behaving completely differently as if he was being possessed.
"No. You're a villain's lackey."
