The day was already taxing, and Daniel was tired. As he stepped out of his office and got in his car, he ruffled his black hair and sighed. He just got to work and the first thing that happened when he entered was being fired. He started the engine as muttered to himself.
"Just fucking great!" He said to himself as stared at the road as he started to drive. "What the hell am I gonna do now?" He said as he drove in silence the rest of the way home.

When Daniel got out of his car and walked into his apartment complex, he was stopped by the landlord. "Oh, Daniel nice seeing you." He said in with a fake smile. "We need to talk about your rent, it's been a month, and you still owe me. You have till the end of next week to give me what you owe. Otherwise I have to throw you out."
Daniel sighed and said "uh, yea. Ill get it to you by then. Sorry for being a bother." He said timidly. Before the landlord could say anything else, he walked away quickly to the elevator and waited as it came down. He waited for a few minutes and it came down. There he saw Tara, and some random buff guy. Daniel looked at her with shock, but still managed to spit out some words.
"Hey Tara, who's this?" He said in shock, seeing his girlfriend around some random dude.
"Oh, uh, Daniel…. This is Brad" she said, obviously stuck trying to explain herself. "He and I friends…."
Daniel knew she was lying and as he was about to say something Brad cut him off.
"Just friends? You weren't just my friend 20 minutes ago." He said as he winked at Daniel. "I take it your her boyfriend then. Let me make this easier on all of us okay." He said with a coy smile. "She's busy with someone more important. Playing a different instrument if you know what I mean." They walked out of the elevator, leaving Daniel standing there with his head down in rage. "Later loser!" Brad called out as the walked away.
Daniel looked at them and Tara giggled at Brad and said. "Babeee, your so meannn!"
Larry entered the elevator quickly and pressed the 5th floor. As it closed he started to cry, tears of anger and betrayal. As he got onto his floor he stormed into his room and punched his wall. Screaming as he said.
"Fuck!!!"
He looked in mirror as he stared at himself. His gray eyes contrasting against the redness of his eyes. His hair at a medium length as he stared at himself with sadness and regret. He walked away and sat at his computer staring at it before turning on a anime. While he watched it and tried to distract himself, a email popped up on his screen. He paused his show and clicked on it. As it opened he read it and it said.

He figured it was a scam, but curiosity got the better of him and he opened it. Out of nowhere, he was transported to into a white space. Nothing stood there besides him and a mysterious man. The man looked at Daniel and said.
"Hello Daniel, nice to meet you."
