She had just gotten off the vehicle and hadn't even climbed the steps to the teaching building when she saw many people standing in the corridor on the second floor, and faintly, a few in white coats moving among them.
Her heart sank, and she muttered to herself, "This can't be good. Could something have happened?"
She hurried upstairs, squeezing through the crowd, and as she pushed through, she overheard bits of conversation—words like "pregnant woman", "injured", and "no place" reached her ears.
She guessed that perhaps a pregnant woman was about to give birth, or was there some danger?
So, her urgency grew.
Having been there for a day and a night, most people knew she was a reporter and made way for her.
When she made it to the front, she found the situation entirely different from what she had imagined!
