Jiang Li held Zhouyue's chin in one hand and supported her back with the other, no longer having the energy to care about her hands pressed against his chest. She frantically tugged at the front of his shirt, trying to struggle free, but was clueless on how to escape.
Zhouyue's face turned red as she couldn't catch her breath; her head forced upward, her eyes slightly upturned, exuding a seductive charm despite being filled with misty eyes that looked at Jiang Li, who clearly didn't want to let her go, with pity.

Her sobbing voiced her protests and discomfort.
Jiang Li's bloodshot eyes trembled; he gasped and moved back, creating distance between himself and the equally disoriented Zhouyue.
