Chapter 114 Hunting Moment

The woman in the shed took about two minutes to realize that she was saved.

There was another black shadow in front of me. Against the light of the fire outside, I could only make out a vague outline and couldn't tell whether it was a man or a woman.

A dagger was thrown.

"Kill him and I will take you away from this den of thieves." Qin Yao said in a low voice.

It was not a negotiating tone, but a completely imperative one, with no second option at all.

Only if the woman kills the bandit leader she has killed with her knife can they be in the same boat and the probability of the woman turning against them can be minimized.

She is actually a woman!

The woman lying on the ground was full of surprise. She wanted to ask who the other person was, but she heard a "hush" sound and felt the cold murderous intent, so she fell silent.

She fumbled, picked up the dagger, pulled it out of the scabbard, took a deep breath, gripped the handle with both hands, and stabbed it into the man's heart!

One stab wasn't enough, so he stabbed again.

Qin Yao covered the man's mouth in advance, and no sound came out.

"alright."

Seeing that the woman was about to stab him a third time, Qin Yao asked her to stop.

The person is already dead, and losing too much blood will attract other people's attention.

Fortunately, this man cut off one of his fingers today, so it's not surprising that there's a slight smell of blood in the shed.

"Who are you?" the woman asked tremblingly, holding the dagger.

In extreme fear, she did not feel the discomfort and helplessness she felt the first time she killed someone. Her heart was pounding like a drum, and she didn't even know what she was doing or what she was going to do.

So, every word Qin Yao said at this time was like a program instruction to her, and she did whatever she said.

Qin Yao didn't answer her question, but asked her: "What's your name?"

The woman answered: "Yin Yue (yue)."

"Do you know who King Xiang is?"

"Um."

"Is it the man in the Confucian robe who just gave you to this person?"

"yes."

"Are those three beside him the Three Heavenly Kings?"

"right."

"Do you know where they sleep?"

"They are all in the cave. Only the four of them sleep in the cave. The three kings are very powerful. One of them sleeps with his eyes open. He has excellent hearing. King Xiang even asked him to keep watch at night."

Qin Yao raised her eyebrows. She said so much information in one breath. It seemed that she was awake.

The room was very dark, and Qin Yao couldn't see the woman's expression clearly. She only felt that her trembling was getting worse and worse.

"Don't be afraid. I won't kill you. The information you just told me is my reward for rescuing you."

As he spoke, he lifted the corpse at his feet to the corner and laid it flat, pretending to be sleeping.

Then he sat down by the door of the tree shed.

Yin Le asked, "You want to kill King Xiang?"

Qin Yao didn't answer, but just stretched out her hand and asked her to return the dagger.

"Can I hold this dagger for a little longer? I don't have any weapon to defend myself."

"Give it to me!" Without waiting for Yin Le to finish speaking, Qin Yao snatched the dagger, wiped the blood off, and put it on her waist.

The room fell into dead silence and Yin Le forced himself not to close his eyes and fall asleep.

The wait is long, but Qin Yao has gotten used to it.

None of the bandits had expected that there would be a stranger lurking among them.

Qin Yao sat by the tree shed and watched them stay up all night, living a life of drunkenness and dreams, until she was called away by Zhou Gong.

The campfire died down and snoring began to sound.

There was a faint firelight flickering in the cave. A sturdy man was pacing back and forth at the door. Finally, he yawned, leaned against the cliff wall, and squinted his eyes.

But Qin Yao judged from the other person's breathing that he was not really asleep at all.

It didn't matter, she would let him rest in peace forever.

A dark cloud obscured the moonlight, dawn was approaching, and it was time to hunt!

Qin Yao walked out of the tree shed with a swagger. The man in front of the cave door was just as Yin Le said, with excellent hearing. He immediately opened his eyes and looked over.

"Swish!" An arrow came through the air, carrying a tremendous force and piercing the throat.

With a scream of "Ugh!", the man fell down.

Qin Yao ran over and stood in front of the cave. With the help of the firelight inside, she scanned all three people sleeping on the bamboo beds.

She walked in quickly, passed the person closest to her, and before the other person opened his eyes and noticed anything, she pulled out the dagger and stabbed him in the neck.

When it was pulled out, blood gushed out, and Qin Yao had already arrived at the next bed.

This man's reaction was amazing. He jumped up to avoid her dagger, then picked up the big knife at his side and slashed at Qin Yao.

But in the face of absolute power, this resistance is nothing.

The arrow pierced through the blade, and the bowstring entangled the strong arm, forcing the opponent to let go with a fierce pressure, and the knife fell to the ground with a clang.

Qin Yao raised the long knife in his right hand and chopped it down, and the head fell to the ground!

"Who—"

King Xiang jumped up from the bamboo bed in shock. As soon as the sound came out, Qin Yao rushed over and kicked him down. She put her longbow in her left hand around King Xiang's neck, strangled his throat, and chopped him hard with the knife in her right hand!

Hot blood splashed all over Qin Yao's face. She wiped the blood in front of her eyes with the back of her knife-holding hand, picked up the two heads on the ground, cut off the remaining two heads, packed the four heads and stuffed them into King Xiang's Confucian shirt, and ran away.

He ran all the way to Yin Le's side, pulled her up and went into the forest on the side. Before anyone in the camp noticed that King Xiang and the Three Heavenly Kings had already gone to see the King of Hell.

Qin Yao dragged Yin Le all the way to the top of the mountain. She looked back at the camp in front of the cave at the foot of the mountain and laughed triumphantly.

He put down the heavy bag in his hand, took out the flares from his arms, and fired two flares into the sky.

"Bang, bang!" Two loud noises came from the top of Yuhua Mountain. In the darkest night sky before dawn, two red flames bloomed.

At the foot of the mountain, the county magistrate, who was about to fall asleep, suddenly woke up with a start. He looked up at the sky. The red light was blinding, and he was both surprised and delighted.

What was surprising was that Qin Yao actually succeeded on time.

The good news is that King Xiang is dead, and it's time for the government to make meritorious deeds!

"Wake up, wake up!"

The officers and soldiers on duty woke up everyone, a total of thirty-six officers and soldiers, and rushed towards Yuhua Mountain excitedly as if they were injected with chicken blood.

At the same time, the signal flares released by Qin Yao were also found at the bandit camp. Finally, someone realized something was wrong and rushed to the cave to see four headless corpses. King Xiang and the three heavenly kings were all killed.

"The King is dead!"

Someone shouted loudly, and the whole station fell into chaos.

Just when I didn't know what to do, the sky suddenly turned pale and an urgent whistle came from the sentry post.

"The soldiers are coming to kill us!!!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Qin Yao suddenly appeared behind him and killed the man with a knife.

She dealt with the horse bandits in front of the fence one after another, and with her great strength, she moved the two-meter-high fence away, opening the gate for the officers and soldiers who rushed up.

In order to prevent the bandits from having nowhere to escape and having to fight to the death, she left a gap so that they could have hope of escape.

Even with such assistance, Qin Yao would be so angry that he would vomit blood if the officers and soldiers still could not wipe out the horse bandits in one fell swoop.

Fortunately, when she retreated to the top of the mountain and met up with Yin Le, a large number of officers and soldiers rushed into the bandit's lair and killed or ambushed more than 80 people in one go.

The remaining dozen or so people who escaped were also captured by the team of officers and soldiers deployed in advance by the county magistrate.

I will be updating twice a week for a while now as I am quite busy. I will update for you once I am done with the work.
