Battle Power, Authority Levels, and Body Grade
The ranking system integrates Battle Power, Authority Levels, and Body Grade to measure the capabilities of a being, their energy output, and their influence on the world. This comprehensive system explains the interaction between supernatural abilities, environmental impact, the scope of powers, and the physical adaptations needed to wield these abilities effectively.
1. Battle Power (BP)
Definition: Refers to the quantifiable energy level or combat effectiveness of an individual. This measurement determines how much power they can generate, manipulate, or sustain during combat or other activities.
Significance: Higher battle power translates to greater destructive potential, environmental impact, and resistance to external forces.
Example: A being with 10,000x BP can reshape landscapes or summon large-scale natural phenomena, while someone with 1,000x BP might lift heavy objects or generate shockwaves.
2. Authority Levels (AL)
Definition: Indicates the quality of a being's powers, encompassing their ability to manipulate, interact with, and influence their surroundings or universal laws.
Mechanics: Authority Levels determine the scope and complexity of powers:
F to D Levels: Localized influence, such as enhanced strength or speed.
C to B Levels: Planetary effects, including terraforming or manipulating planetary energy flows.
A to EX Levels: Cosmic impact, with abilities extending to interstellar or galactic scales.
Example:
A B-rank authority user might generate storms that affect an entire continent, while an EX-rank authority could collapse a star system.
3. Body Grade
Definition: Reflects the physical and biological adaptation of a being to their powers. It measures the capacity of the cells, atoms, and organs to store, process, and release energy, as well as the control they have over their abilities.
Mechanics:
Post-awakening, a being's body undergoes mutations to handle the newfound energy. These changes occur at the cellular and atomic levels to increase durability, capacity, and control.
Higher Body Grades enable better synchronization with powers and reduce the risk of self-damage.
Key Characteristics:Durability:
Resistance to damage from powers or environmental factors
.Energy Handling: Increased capacity for absorbing, storing, and releasing energy.
Control: Improved precision and stability when using abilities.
Example: A D-Grade body can handle moderate environmental effects like shockwaves or minor energy bursts, while an S-Grade body processes cosmic radiation and survives extreme conditions such as deep space.
Core Mechanics of Power and Civilization
Superpowers and Physics:
After the collapse of the physical universe's laws, the very fabric of reality underwent a profound shift. The universe, constantly evolving at the micro level, began to reflect changes driven by supernatural phenomena. These changes, born from living and non-living entities alike, were the result of what many likened to "cheat codes" in a game—modifications that rewrote the underlying rules of existence.
Superpowers emerged as disruptions in the universal system, where individuals and phenomena rewrote the physics of their surroundings. No longer constrained by conventional science, beings with supernatural abilities now bent the laws to their will. This idealistic reality will reshaped civilizations, intelligence, and even nature itself.
This means abilities bend or rewrite universal laws, not just manipulate them. Earth scientists hypothesize that superpowers arise from the universe's shift into a more idealistic, conceptual state.
Energy and Absorption:
From C Rank onward, individuals begin absorbing planetary or stellar energy. This interaction directly affects ecosystems and planetary stability. Misuse can lead to decades of environmental chaos.By A Rank, beings absorb cosmic radiation, enabling survival in space. At SSS Rank, energy use reaches demi-god levels, allowing conversion into pure energy forms.
God Power (GP):
Definition: A universal unit measuring energy output at god-level authority. One GP equals 100,000,000x normal energy.Transitioning from mortal (SSS) to god-level (EX) involves converting a physical body into pure energy. This requires mastery of universal laws and efficient energy consumption.
Training and Exceptions:
Battle power isn't fixed to one's authority rank. Through training, understanding laws of the universe, and creative breakthroughs, someone with an F Rank Authority can reach energy levels comparable to higher ranks.Â
Understanding the Power:
A critical element in raising Battle Power  and Authority Level  is the user's comprehension of their power. Simply awakening to a superpower doesn't grant full control or safety.Example: If someone awakens with A-class fire control, touching fire on the same day may result in severe burns or death. Their body hasn't yet adapted to process or handle the change in atomic and cellular composition. Without training, the power becomes a threat to survival rather than an advantage.
Methods to Adapt and Survive:
Adapting to newly awakened powers requires training and methods to align the body, mind, and energy.Training teaches the user to control energy output and manage new mutations safely. For instance, learning to limit firepower output can prevent accidental burns or destruction during early use.Rushing adaptation can lead to catastrophic results, including the body rejecting the power entirely, which can be fatal. Controlled progression ensures survival.
Body Grade and Adaptation:
The Body Grade determines how much energy the cells and atoms in a person's body can handle. As the Life Level increases through the awakening process, the body undergoes mutations and evolutions, enhancing its capacity for power and control. These biological changes are essential for synchronizing the body with its newfound power.
Life Level Progression by Rank
The table below summarizes the Life Level increases relative to the individual's rank. It shows the biological enhancements and how the energy capacity scales:
F Grade: Strength increases 2-10 times the average creature. Cells divide and grow 2-3 times faster than before awakening.
E Grade: Strength increases 10-100 times. Life level rises 3-5 times. Cells and atoms begin stabilizing energy but remain limited to localized effects.
D Grade: Strength increases 100-1,000 times. Life level rises 6-9 times. Cellular energy efficiency improves, enabling limited environmental interaction.
C Grade: Strength increases 1,000-10,000 times. Life level rises 10-12 times. Cells absorb planetary energy, making the user a processor for natural energy flow.
B Grade: Strength increases 10,000-100,000 times. Life level rises 10-50 or even 100 times. Users reshape ecosystems, drawing vast amounts of energy.
A Grade: Strength increases 100,000-1,000,000 times. Life level rises 100-500 times. Bodies process interstellar radiation, enabling survival in space.
S Grade: Strength increases 1,000,000-10,000,000 times. Life level rises 1,000-10,000 times. Cells achieve self-sustainability, no longer reliant on biological needs (oxygen, food).
SS Grade: Strength increases 10,000,000-100,000,000 times. Life level rises 10,000-100,000 times. Mutations grant control over planetary ecosystems and global phenomena.
SSS Grade: Strength increases to 100,000,000 (1 GP). Life level rises 100,000-1,000,000 times. The body reaches peak mortal limits, preparing for transition to god-energy.
EX Grade: Strength increases beyond 1 GP (up to 1,000,000 GP). Cells no longer age or divide naturally. Consciousness and soul fully control every atom. Even if physical destruction occurs, the being can reconstruct using their energy and spiritual form.
Damage Ranges and Weapon Effectiveness
F to E Ranks (Normal-Level to Low Superhuman):
Damage Range: Affects only immediate surroundings. F ranks operate within a range of 1-10 meters, while E ranks extend to 50-100 meters.
Weapon Effectiveness: Fully susceptible to modern weapons like firearms, explosives, and melee tools. E ranks might survive small-caliber bullets but remain vulnerable to larger-caliber weapons or explosives.
Civilizational Context: At this stage, civilizations mirror Earth-like technological levels, relying on conventional tools and weapons. Superhuman phenomena are rare but destabilizing.
D to C Ranks (Intermediate to Planetary-Level):
Damage Range: Expands to kilometers. D ranks can create shockwaves or minor craters within 0.5-2 kilometers, while C ranks devastate city blocks or forests within 10-50 kilometers.
