In the Johto league dinner everyone was eating, it was the night as in one table was Haru seating next to him was Whitney as Rose and Clair was doing rock paper scissors to see who will seat on his left, around Haru was all 7 of his sister and Jessie and James, all his Pokémon were in the back eating food, to the front to the table eating in awkwardness is Ash, Diamond Brock, Misty, and Red, as Red looked at Rose as he took a good look at her as she has light pink hair that is tied into a low ponytail. Her hair curls at the tips and extends far past her shoulders. On the right side of her head, she has a large hair clip with a light blue gem on it: the same color as her eyes. Her pupils are pink like her hair. She also has small elf ears, she wears a white top and black shorts with long black stockings, along with a little black shawl with an off-the-shoulder style. The sleeve she uses has purple layered frills and a shoulder plate, while her other arm has a black glove instead. She wears a white, black, and lilac cape at her waist, which has a fur trimming at the end.
Red not wanting to make a comment about her ears just ask a different. "Um nice outfit?".
Rose stopped her fighting with Clair as she looked at Red. "Thanks Campion, this was personally design for me".
Ash then spoke as he looked at Diamond. "Yours as well Diamond".
Diamond stopped her eating and looked at Ash. "Yes, we got them made by Miss Edna "E" Mode".
Red then spoke. "Insets she the designer for all Johto Gym Leader".
Misty then spoke. "My sister outfit was als made by her, how did you get her contact".
Whitney then spoke as she feed Haru a piece of her food. "Oh that is thanks to me".
As the group at the table processed Whitney's casual comment, Red raised an eyebrow. "You just casually know Miss Edna Mode, the most exclusive designer in Johto? How does that even happen?"
Whitney shrugged nonchalantly, clearly enjoying her moment of glory. "Oh, you know, I am a Gym Leader. Perks of the job. Edna loved my aesthetic and decided to collaborate on a few designs. Naturally, when Haru needed something, I made the call."
Clair scoffed, crossing her arms as she glanced at Whitney. "More like you wanted to show off. Haru could have easily commissioned something himself."
Haru, caught between his girlfriends' tension, simply chuckled nervously. "Well, I'm grateful either way. Edna's work is amazing."
Meanwhile, Ash stared at Diamond, still processing her earlier response. "Wait... are you saying Miss Edna Mode herself designed your outfit, too? How did you manage that?"
Diamond smirked confidently, leaning back in her chair. "Whitney isn't the only one with connections, you know. Haru pulled some strings for me. I mean, you can't just go around looking average when you're traveling with someone like him."
Jessie, overhearing this from the other side of the table, grinned slyly. "She's got a point. Presentation is everything in this world."
James nodded in agreement, raising a glass. "To style and sophistication! Even Team Rocket must look impeccable."
Misty sighed, resting her chin on her palm. "You guys really live in a different world, don't you?"
Brock, watching the dynamic play out, chuckled to himself. "Different world or not, it's clear Haru attracts some... unique individuals."
Red, still observing the entire scene, leaned over to Ash and whispered, "Your friends are something else, kid. I think I liked it better when it was just you, Pikachu, and Misty giving me headaches."
Ash laughed nervously. "Yeah, it's been... eventful lately."
As the conversations carried on, Haru's Swampert wandered over to the table, earning cheers from his sisters and prompting Whitney to dote on the Pokémon. Meanwhile, Pikachu and Haru's Electivire shared a mutual look of camaraderie before diving into their plates of food.
The night in the Johto League dining hall was one of camaraderie, laughter, and a touch of chaos, as everyone prepared for the challenges to come in the tournament.
Misty then looked at Rose and Diamond as she spoke to the two sister. "Other then the fact both you girls outfit are made by Edna".
Rose them spoke to Misty. "Thank".
Misty then spoke as she pointed at the ears. "But this has been bugging me How d-".
Misty froze mid-sentence, her eyes darting to Haru, who was holding up a napkin with hastily scribbled words:
"Unless you want to be yeeted out the window by both Diamond and Rose, don't say a word about the ears at all."
She blinked at the warning, her mouth hanging open before quickly snapping shut. "Uh, never mind," she muttered, awkwardly turning her attention back to her plate.
Diamond raised an eyebrow, her sharp gaze flickering to Misty. "Were you going to say something, Misty?" she asked, her tone carrying a subtle edge.
Misty immediately shook her head, forcing a nervous laugh. "Nope, nothing at all! Just admiring your, uh, sense of style! Yep, that's it!"
Rose, catching the tension, gave a sweet yet unsettling smile. "Glad you think so. Edna really outdid herself."
Brock leaned over to Misty, whispering, "Good save. You really don't want to get on their bad side."
Misty whispered back, "Why didn't you warn me sooner?"
Brock shrugged. "I figured you'd know better."
Meanwhile, Haru discreetly wiped off the napkin and pocketed it, smirking to himself. "Crisis averted," he muttered, leaning back as Whitney offered him another piece of food.
Red, who had witnessed the whole exchange, leaned toward Ash. "Are your friends always this... intense?"
Ash sighed, his head dropping into his hands. "You have no idea."
As the tension eased, the table's focus shifted back to casual conversation, with everyone pretending nothing had happened—except for Haru, who was quietly congratulating himself for dodging a potential disaster.
Ash then felt something and saw Red. "Hey Bro do you fell that".
Red then got up and looked at Ash. "Yeah, I think we should leave".
Aa then the door opened, as both Ash as Red slowly turned there head to see Dahlia there mom standing there.
Red looked at Ash as he spoke. "Ash blaming your Girlfriend (Diamond), for this".
Dahlia went to Dahlia that speed even Haru aura power's avrn keep track, a she hold Diamond hands. "You girl what is your name, I am Dahlia the mother of Both Ash and Red and I saw you on the TV are you willing to be my daughter in Law".
Diamond blinked as she then released the chance and took. "Yes mam, is it ok if call you Mom now".
The room fell silent for a moment as everyone turned to look at Dahlia and Diamond. Haru, Whitney, and Clair all exchanged surprised glances, but none of them could quite predict what would happen next.
Dahlia smiled warmly at Diamond. "Of course, sweetie," she said, pulling Diamond into an unexpected but affectionate hug. "I'm so glad to meet someone who clearly makes my Ash so happy."
Ash, still in shock, blinked at his mom, then at Diamond. "Mom! What are you...?" He trailed off, completely unsure of how to react to the situation unfolding in front of him.
Red, who had been preparing for a potential confrontation, looked as though he was about to lose his composure from the sheer absurdity of it all. "Ash, you seriously can't control your love life, can you?" he muttered under his breath, although he couldn't help but chuckle at his younger brother's predicament.
Diamond, still caught in the hug, looked back at Ash and raised an eyebrow as if to say, Are you seeing this?
Misty, sitting nearby, leaned in to whisper to Brock, "Didn't expect this to happen tonight. But then again, with Ash, who can say what's normal?"
Brock just shook his head, eyes wide. "This is something else entirely."
Haru, having been watching the entire exchange, leaned back in his chair with an amused grin. "Looks like Ash is going to have his hands full now."
Dahlia pulled away from Diamond, but not without a mischievous glint in her eyes. "So, when can we start planning the wedding?" she asked casually, as if they were talking about something as simple as dinner plans.
Diamond blinked, completely taken aback. "Wait, what?!"
The room burst into laughter, with everyone knowing this moment would be remembered for a long time to come. Even Red, who had been trying to stay serious, couldn't hold it in anymore. "I think you've just officially become part of this chaotic family, Diamond," he said with a grin.
Ash, still unsure whether to be terrified or excited, looked over at Diamond, who just shrugged. "I guess this is happening."
And so, the dinner continued, now with an additional layer of awkwardness and excitement that no one had seen coming. Haru, still grinning, watched it all unfold. "This is going to be one wild Johto League."
Meanwhile with Ash, he was just looking at Ritchie. "Um Ritchie why did you break into my room like a crazy person".
Ritchie just hupped and looked at Ash. "It is about who I ma fight, Haru guy and I tryed to look him up, and the data only shows 2 out 6 of his Pokémon, His Electivire that he used all the ways on qualifiers and his Swampert he used last battle, you have seen around him so um....".
Ash blinked, a little taken aback by Ritchie's sudden intrusion. "Wait, you broke into my room just to ask about Haru's Pokémon?" He let out a small sigh. "You could've just asked me normally, you know."
Ritchie scratched the back of his head, looking a bit sheepish. "Yeah, I know, but I figured I'd get more information by sneaking around. I mean, you've been with him for a while, right? You've seen his team more than anyone else. I just wanted to know what I might be up against."
Ash crossed his arms and gave Ritchie a thoughtful look. "Haru is... different from a lot of other trainers. His Pokémon aren't just powerful; they have unique moves and strategies. He's unpredictable. So, I wouldn't rely too much on just what you've seen."
Ritchie nodded, clearly taking Ash's words seriously. "That's what I thought. But the thing is, I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to beat him. I don't know how he battles or what he'll throw at me. So far, all I've seen are the basics."
Ash chuckled a little, giving Ritchie an encouraging smile. "Well, that's the fun part. Haru doesn't follow the normal rules—he adapts, and he does whatever it takes to win. But that doesn't mean you can't win. Just trust your instincts and your Pokémon. You've got this, Ritchie."
Ritchie, still looking a bit unsure, nodded slowly. "Yeah, but... I just don't want to disappoint myself or anyone else. I know you've had your fair share of tough matches, but Haru seems like he's on a whole different level."
Ash placed a reassuring hand on Ritchie's shoulder. "Everyone has their challenges. I mean, when I started, I wasn't the best trainer either. It's all about learning and pushing yourself. And don't forget, you've got your own strengths. Focus on those, and don't try to mimic anyone else's style."
Ritchie smiled, feeling a bit more confident. "Thanks, Ash. I'll try my best. But if I do get taken down, I'll be sure to learn from it."
Ash grinned. "That's the spirit. And remember, win or lose, it's all about improving and moving forward. Haru's tough, but so are you."
As Ash and Ritchie stood there talking, Ritchie felt a little better about his upcoming battle with Haru. Although Haru's reputation was intimidating, he knew that Ash believed in him. With that, Ritchie walked out of Ash's room, his mind set on the battle ahead.
Ash watched him go, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Good luck, Ritchie. You're gonna need it."
Diamond who was also in the room spoke. "Never thought I would see the day that someone asked Ash for help".
Ash turned to Diamond with a playful grin. "Hey, just because I usually have everything under control doesn't mean I don't need some help now and then," he said, slightly puffing out his chest. "Besides, Ritchie's a good guy. He's just figuring things out like the rest of us did."
Diamond raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "I didn't say it was a bad thing, Ash. It's just funny seeing you in the mentor role for once. Usually, you're the one getting advice."
Ash scratched the back of his head. "Well, I guess I've learned a lot over the years, and it's nice to pass it on. I didn't exactly have that when I was starting out. If I can help Ritchie avoid some of the mistakes I made, then that's a win in my book."
Diamond smiled softly, her expression softening as she saw Ash's sincerity. "You've come a long way, Ash. I'm proud of you."
Ash chuckled, scratching his cheek nervously. "Thanks, Diamond. But we still have a long way to go before the league's over."
Diamond stood up, walking over to Ash and placing a hand on his shoulder. "No matter what happens, you've always got your friends by your side. Whether it's Ritchie or anyone else, you don't have to do it alone."
Ash looked at her, feeling a warmth in his chest. "Yeah, you're right. And that goes for you too, Diamond."
She gave him a small nod, her smile returning. "Of course. Now, get some rest. Tomorrow's a big day, and you'll need all your energy for it."
Ash nodded and yawned. "You're right. I'll see you in the morning, then."
As Ash turned toward his bed, Diamond stayed for a moment longer, watching him with a fond expression. The upcoming battle might be tough, but with friends and teammates like Ritchie, Ash was ready to face whatever challenges came his way.
