The wind howled across the devastated lands, sweeping away the remnants of a war that had left deep scars on the world. The borders once drawn by the will of the ancient kings had been erased, redrawn by pain, rancor and bloodshed. The ground, soaked in tears and fire, was now a field of ruins where the smell of war lingered, like poison in the air.

At the center of it all was Dodens Omrade, an abandoned area torn between the kingdoms of Latgna and Daimonas. A no-man's-land where there was no power, where the laws were as non-existent as the hopes of those who lived there. The war had turned this region into a hunting ground for criminals, runaway slaves and lost souls who had found themselves without a home, without a place in the world that had rejected them.

The blocks were their only landmark: six zones of concrete and iron, tangled in a tangle of ruins, controlled by those with the strength, resources or cruelty to rule. But even there, power was never assured. A fragile truce reigned, but instability was a sword of Damocles hanging over everyone's head.

Rumor had it that in these shadows, you could lose or gain everything. Heroes were born into suffering, but betrayals were legion. There was no room for nobility or honor. Only the most cunning, the most ruthless and the most broken had any chance of survival.

And yet, despite the heaviness of the night that was falling, despite the shadow of war still present in every breath, some were still looking for something more. A way out. A way out of this hellish trap. But to do that, you had to choose your allies, your enemies, and above all, know how far to go to achieve what you wanted most.

Anything was possible in Dodens Omrade, but nothing was ever certain.
