"Ha ha, you were right, Qi Yi really did drag me to the library as soon as we got to Melbourne." Yan Yan laughed happily as she remembered how back in high school, her mom would occasionally tell her not to study too hard, there was no need to spend every weekend at the library.
"What were you thinking?" That was what her mom really cared about now.
"I think maybe I could give it another try." Yan Yan replied.
"One in the United States, one in Australia, how are you going to try?" Lu Bingran didn't quite understand her daughter's thoughts.
Lu Bingran knew her daughter was a sensible person in matters of the heart, otherwise, she wouldn't have insisted on breaking up with Qi Yi during high school.
"I'm still discussing that issue. I can't really explain it right now." Yan Yan answered.
Mom hadn't realized yet that the word "sensible" had disappeared from Yan Yan's mind for several days now.
What remained in Yan Yan's mind now was a mess and an unformed idea about the future.
