"For me?" Zhong Niangyao felt her mind just couldn't keep up.
She had never expected that Lu Yichen would leave to buy her an ice cream cone. For a moment, she recalled their interactions; although they were baffling to her, she vaguely sensed certain things.
"Take it," Lu Yichen said indifferently, "Didn't you want to try one?"
Zhong Niangyao reached out and took the ice cream cone from Lu Yichen's hand, her gaze complicated for a moment.
Lu Yichen sat down beside Zhong Niangyao, not noticing the complexity in her eyes.
"Lu Yichen, you—" Zhong Niangyao furrowed her brows, thought for a moment, and then spoke, "What exactly do you feel for me, anyway?"
Although she had never been in love, she wasn't naive. Thinking about their times together, and how Lu Yichen had immediately gone to buy her an ice cream cone just from her glance, she couldn't believe such behavior was that of mere friends.
