The park she had to cross was beyond the horizon, almost invisible in the evening gloom. With every step, Delia Asia Vieira felt the tension growing inside her. The fog, like a spider web, spread across the ground, and strange, almost inhuman sounds came from afar. As she approached its borders, a feeling of something incomprehensible, dangerous and completely alien came over her.
As she crossed the gate, Delia Asia Vieira felt her feet sink into the soft earth, as if she were stepping into the very center of a nightmare. Suddenly, as if on command, everything around her began to change. The walls of trees began to bend and grow into unimaginable shapes, and soon she realized that she was somewhere else - in another world, not belonging to reality.
The park before her now looked like a labyrinth of darkened forests, where terrifying creatures lurked. Eerie figures moved between the trees, their outlines blurred in the darkness. Delia Asia Vieira turned sharply, trying to find a way out, but with each passing second it became more and more difficult to stay on her feet - her world, familiar and ordinary, seemed distant and alien.
"What is this?" she whispered, feeling fear and panic take hold of her.
She grabbed the handle of the gun she had found in a trash can early in her walk. It was covered in dirt and rust, but luckily still in working order. Her fingers wrapped around it confidently, and she felt her heart beat faster, her anxiety growing with each step.
"This world can't be real," she thought, taking another step forward.
A figure stood in her way, a creature with eyes that glowed with fire. It stood before her as if guarding some secret. Its body was twisted, almost decomposed, with long claws ready to tear her apart.
"Who are you?" Delia Asia Vieira asked, holding her gun at the ready, her voice shaking with fear.
The creature didn't answer. It simply moved forward, its eyes glittering in the darkness.
Delia Asia Vieira took a few steps back, but her feet got stuck in the thick, swampy soil. The creature was already close. In an instant, it was right in front of her. Without wasting time, the robotess shot sharply in its direction.
A flash of fire pierced the silence of the night, and the creature, with a desperate cry, fell to the ground, its body beginning to dissolve, as if it had no substance. Delia Asia Vieira stood there, unable to believe what she had just done. The gun in her hand felt warm, but she knew now that the weapon would be her only ally.
"We need to move on," she whispered to herself, feeling the cold sweat running down her neck.
Engulfed in this new nightmare, Delia Asia Vieira moved on, not knowing what awaited her around each turn. Noise and strange rustlings filled the space around her, everything became more and more strange and dangerous. She heard echoes of some conversations, but she could not distinguish the words. The sound became louder, and the world around her became more and more distorted.
Suddenly, two more figures appeared in front of her, monsters that resembled slithering snakes, with jaws that opened, ready to swallow everything in their path. She didn't think twice. Taking quick aim, she fired, hitting one of the creatures, but the other was faster. It leaped towards her, and Delia Asia Vieira felt its claws dig into her clothes.
"Damn it, damn it!" she screamed, but the next moment she took a decisive step forward, firing into the darkness once more. The creature flinched, and her blow hit its target.
The remains of this world began to fade as the second being disintegrated. All sounds disappeared and the fog, which had seemed ominous and thick, began to dissipate.
Delia Asia Vieira soon realized that she had survived. She already knew what lay ahead. She knew that ahead was the fateful moment when her body would end up on the rails at great speed, rushing straight to her death. But this time, everything was different.
"I'm ready," she whispered under her breath, confident that her decision had been made.
She moved along the path, carefully approaching the structure of the roller coaster, until her steps brought her directly to the platform where the ride carriage stood. Behind her, through the noise and grinding, one of the carriages approached, filling the space with its heavy, threatening noise.
"Everything will be different," she said to herself.
Her thoughts were clear, her plan was simple: she would not let the machine do its job. She already knew what would happen next, but now she did not need to be afraid. She got into the carriage, as before, only this time her actions were not predictable.
As the carriage started moving, Delia Asia Vieira, as expected, saw the mechanism rolling straight towards her, approaching at incredible speed. Everything was as she remembered, but instead of sitting and waiting for her death, she made a decision. At the moment when the carriage climbed a steep incline, she quickly turned around, using all her strength and agility, and jumped off the rails.
"I made it!" she exhaled, finding herself at a safe distance from the oncoming carriage. It all happened so quickly that she barely had time to realize her success.
She stood on the side of the road, watching the roller coaster rush past her, then slam on the brakes for the next turn. The whole process was stress-free, because Delia Asia Vieira already knew how it would be – and her success was no accident.
Breathless from the effort, Delia Asia Vieira sat down on the ground and turned around, watching the carriage roll forward. At that moment, she felt the gaze of someone standing next to her.
"Are you... are you crazy?" a voice rang out. It was a young man standing at a distance. He was watching her intently, with frank surprise on his face.
"No," she answered calmly. "I just stopped being a victim of the situation."
The boy looked at her with confusion, and then she realized that his reaction was typical of this world. It was normal for him to expect her to die - like everyone else. But she decided that this time she would follow her own path.
"And why did you decide to jump off the rails?" he asked, not taking his eyes off her.
Delia Asia Vieira smiled, determination sparkling in her eyes.
"Because I'm not going to let this world dictate my destiny anymore. I'm my own boss. And if I have to change anything, I'm going to change it myself."
She stood up, turned around and began to walk towards the exit of the park. He stood there for a moment, watching her, unable to comprehend what had just happened.
"I don't think you understand what just happened," he said when she was almost gone. "This is not a game."
"No, this is definitely not a game," Delia Asia Vieira replied without turning around. "This is my life. And I'm going to take it."
Delia Asia Vieira made her way through the park, her steps quick and determined. She felt her inner world changing, everything around her taking on new shades. Many questions were spinning in her head, but they all somehow came down to one thing: Lisa Roselli. She had to find her and figure out what was behind everything that was happening.
Suddenly she stopped dead in her tracks, almost tripping. She saw them. Lisa Roselli and Earl Knight were standing a little to the side, engaged in a conversation that immediately caught her attention. Lisa was speaking with rage, and Earl was responding with that expression on his face that Delia Asia Vieira had long since learned to recognize: he was furious, but it was not simple anger - it was a mixture of betrayal and pain.
"You do realize you lied to me, Lisa?" Earl's voice was tense, full of some kind of suppressed anger. "I just can't believe you're telling me this."
Lisa Roselli was at her best. Her face remained calm, but her eyes bored into her interlocutor with a look that could almost be called cold.
"You don't understand, Earl," her words were confident, but there was a subtle worry in them. "I'm telling you the truth. Delia Asia Vieira was kidnapped, brainwashed. She's not who she used to be. You saw how she became... different. This wasn't her choice. This wasn't her decision.
Earl shook his head as if he couldn't believe it. He was clearly exhausted, and his eyes were increasingly filled with doubt and disappointment.
"I don't know... You can't lie to my face," he said, looking down. "I feel like she's really happy. Yes, she's changed, but she looks... different, Lisa. You saw how she moved, how she looked at me. There was no fear in her eyes, no pain. I... I think she's found her way."
"Earl, stop it!" Lisa cut him off abruptly, her voice a little more tense than usual. She took a step forward, glancing at the robotess, who stood quietly, not wanting to interfere, but couldn't help but overhear their conversation. "You really think she's happy, don't you? You really believe that?"
Delia Asia Vieira felt her heart skip a beat. She didn't want to listen to their conversation, didn't want to interfere in their personal affairs. But it was important. Everything they talked about concerned her, her life, and her destiny.
"Yes, I believe that," Earl said, meeting Lisa's gaze. His voice was more confident now, but there was still pain in it. "I can't believe you actually thought I was that blind. I know she's still a person, Lisa. She shouldn't be a tool in your hands. I've seen her laugh, I've seen her... live."
Lisa took a step back, her gaze becoming even more threatening.
"You're wrong, Earl," she said quietly but firmly. "She gave in, she was used. You don't understand. You just don't see the whole picture.
Delia Asia Vieira, unable to remain in the shadows any longer, stepped forward and spoke:
"Nothing you say matters, Lisa," her voice was firm, and her eyes were blazing with determination. "I'm not your puppet, and I won't let you manipulate my life. I'll decide what happens next."
Lisa turned around sharply, her eyes flashing with anger, but Delia Asia Vieira was already standing in front of her, not allowing her to escape responsibility.
"You... do you think you can control your own destiny?" Lisa became harsh, but there was no longer the confidence in her voice. "You don't understand that there are people behind you who decide everything."
"It's all a lie, Lisa. I know I'm being used, but I'll fight," said the robotess, not looking away. "My destiny is mine, and I won't let anyone else dictate my decisions."
Earl was silent, watching the conversation from the sidelines. He did not intervene, but his gaze was full of understanding and, perhaps, bitterness.
"I think," he said finally, "that I know what you need. You need to get away from all of this, from all of this manipulation. Knight and yourself. And if you feel that you are happy, if this is your path, then go.
Lisa was silent for a moment, then looked at both of them.
"It's not that simple," her voice was soft, almost with a hint of weariness. "But if you want to go your own way, I won't stop you. You'll decide for yourself what to do."
Delia Asia Vieira looked at Lisa, then at Earl. Everything they said now seemed part of her personal journey. This was a defining moment. The argument had been going on for some time, and she was becoming increasingly aware that Lisa was willing to do anything to use her for her own ends. But Delia Asia Vieira couldn't just back down. Every word Lisa said echoed in her mind, making her doubt, asking questions that were too dangerous.
"You still don't understand," Lisa said with a hint of contempt, her voice firm but with a shadow of something evil, hidden, lurking in it. "You don't understand what a chance you have. You don't see what I see. I want you to work for our cult, to help us bring the Antichrist to power.
Delia Asia Vieira sighed, her gaze becoming more focused.
"I will not work for a Satanist cult, Lisa. I do not believe in your plans. And I will not be a part of anything like that."
Lisa took a slow step forward, her eyes flashing with an ominous light.
"You cannot afford not to understand. You still do not realize that only through the Antichrist can real order, real peace be achieved. We are the ones who will rule this world, and you... you will be on the side of power."
Delia Asia Vieira looked at her, trying to stop her body from shaking, but there was determination in her voice.
"And what kind of world do you want to create? A world where pain, hunger, disease, old age, greed and wars will be eternal?" she asked, not hiding her sarcasm and disgust. "Is this what you call the 'Antichrist's Paradise'?"
Lisa smiled, her face remained calm, but there was an evil sparkle in her eyes.
"Yes, that's right. It will be a world where suffering is not weakness, but strength. Where only the strongest survive, and everyone else will submit. An eternal world where there is no pity, no indulgences. Where every day is a struggle. You don't understand how wonderful it will be. You don't see that there is meaning in it."
Delia Asia Vieira frowned, trying to understand her motives, but Lisa's words seemed empty to her. She was ready to walk away from this conversation, from this idea, which, like a sore wound, awakened dark doubts in her soul. But she could not simply believe that all this was true.
"You want me to help destroy the world to create a new one filled with suffering? That's your plan?" robotess repeated, her voice firmer.
Lisa looked at her as if she were a weak soul, a person who simply had not yet realized her destiny.
"Yes, that's right," she said, and there was determination in her voice. "You will be a part of this because we will need you. We will not tolerate the weak. We will create a new world that will be destroyed, only to rise again, and you will be in this new world, at the very top."
Delia Asia Vieira took a step back, but her heart began to beat faster, because she knew that Lisa was not only talking about the world, but about her. She wanted to make her part of this world, to make her part of the destruction.
"You won't make me be a part of this, Lisa," the robotess said, her voice now cold, determined. "I won't work for you. I won't be a part of this nightmare.
Lisa fell silent, her gaze becoming even sharper.
"You don't understand. You can't choose your destiny. You're part of this plan, and you can't run from it. We're all part of something bigger. And you're going to understand that soon."
Delia Asia Vieira clenched her fists tighter, feeling the anger building inside her. Everything Lisa had said was a lie, a manipulation, an attempt to make her break. But she couldn't let herself give in.
"You are wrong, Lisa," said the robotess, her eyes blazing with determination. "I will decide my fate. And I will not let you use me. You will not make a weapon out of me. And the Antichrist will not take this land if I stand against him.
Lisa smirked again, her face became more angry, but her eyes showed surprise. She didn't expect Delia Asia Vieira to resist so much.
"You don't understand yet," she said with a smile. "But you'll regret it."
Delia Asia Vieira turned around and took a step towards the exit, while Earl, clenching his fists tightly, said with a hint of weariness:
"You know, Lisa, if this world you want to create is a place without worries or negative consequences, then it's not really heaven. It's a stagnant world where nothing of real value happens. Where there's no room for struggle, for growth, for change."
Lisa held back her laughter, but there was something sinister in her eyes.
"So what, Earl? Do you think that eternal suffering and struggle are valuable? Your ideals are just illusions that never lead to happiness. We can build a world where suffering will disappear, where everyone will live in peace and quiet."
Earl took a step back, his gaze becoming thoughtful, almost sad.
"I don't want a world without struggle and meaning. A world without pain, but also without true growth, is not life. It is a dull existence that leaves nothing important behind. Such a world would be meaningless, you understand? Without spice, without real meaning."
Delia Asia Vieira watched him, and her heart sank. She had always sought meaning in her actions, always strived for a goal. But here, in this argument, she suddenly felt that her own path was not as clear as she would like. The world of Lisa and Earl was so opposite that she could not even choose which of them to agree with.
Lisa looked at Earl carefully, her eyes cold and full of contempt.
"You're wrong, Earl," she said with a slight smile. "You're too far gone. You still believe in old ideals, in this miserable, outdated world. I pity you. You don't understand that I can offer a better future."
Earl narrowed his eyes, his expression becoming more determined. He opened his mouth to answer, but suddenly he pulled out a gun. He pointed it at Lisa, and the air grew tense.
"I'm tired of your ideals, Lisa," he said firmly. "You talk about peace, but in reality, you want to become its god, destroying everything I hold valuable. Well, I won't give you that.
Delia Asia Vieira froze. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she was trying to comprehend what was happening. She didn't know what to do, how to act at this moment. She wasn't prepared for this turn of events.
Lisa, however, remained calm, her expression not changing even though the gun was pointed at her.
"You don't understand, Earl," she said, her voice soft but dangerous. "Do you think I'm afraid of your threat? Do you want to destroy me? But you're part of this world. You can't break free from its chains."
But Earl wasn't going to give up. His hand holding the gun was shaking, but he didn't lower the weapon. He kept looking at Lisa, his eyes burning.
"I won't let you impose your ideals on me, Lisa. You don't understand that the world shouldn't be like this. The world should change, not freeze in this stagnation."
At that moment, Lisa laughed quietly, and her laughter was like a knife in the heart.
"You feel sorry for yourself, Earl. You try to maintain illusions. But you can't escape. This world is too powerful for you to change it."
Delia Asia Vieira, standing in the shadows, watched them with bated breath. Thoughts were spinning in her head, but she could not understand what would happen next. And then, at this critical moment, something strange happened - it was as if time slowed down, and the whole world around them ceased to exist, and they were left only in this tense, dangerous space.
"You're wrong, Lisa," Earl said, his voice firm but also full of doubt. "I won't give you this world."
Then Lisa suddenly stepped forward. She didn't flinch, she didn't get scared, despite the weapon. She stood calmly, as if she knew what was coming next.
But what exactly happened remains a mystery for Delia Asia Vieira.
She couldn't understand what exactly had happened at that moment. The scene before her was too strange, her feelings were in conflict. It all happened quickly, too quickly, and when she tried to understand what was happening, everything had already been decided.
What exactly happened at that moment? How could Earl and Lisa decide to do such a thing? It remained unclear to Delia Asia Vieira, who breathed heavily, looking around. The amusement park enveloped her in a strange mixture of children's melodies and the darkness of the other world. The lights flickered, distorting the reality around her, and the sounds of the carousel, creaking swings and ghostly clowns seemed to come from everywhere.
She had been here before, when her creator Robert was still alive. It had all seemed like an illusion. But now, this park seemed alive, filled with sinister secrets and threats at every turn. Her gun was at the ready – she couldn't allow herself to be vulnerable again.
And here she was again at the old carousel. Bright lights flickered around her, as if inviting her to sit on one of the wooden animals. Around her stood figures that resembled people, but they were all covered in a thick layer of dust and motionless, like mannequins.
"Well, finally you've come!" a thin but confident voice was heard from the darkness.
Delia Asia Vieira turned around and saw a figure in front of her that made her heart clench in alarm.
Before her stood a girl of about ten, in a strict brown dress, with a serious expression on her face, inappropriate for her age. She had long black hair, scattered over her shoulders, and eyes sparkling with a cold gleam.
It was Delia York, the underage US President, who had ordered all this madness to unfold at any moment.
"You left me no choice," the girl said coldly, directing a heavy gaze at the robotess. "You are a threat to everything I am trying to build. You, the enemy of the Antichrist, leave me no chance!"
Delia Asia Vieira squinted, trying to understand what this little president was talking about.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just looking for answers. My creator was killed, and I need to find out who's behind it," Delia said to the robot in a level tone, trying to hide the tremor in her voice.
"Your search threatens my world!" the girl screamed furiously. "If you continue, I will destroy you at any cost!"
And before Delia Asia Vieira could respond, the girl pulled a massive weapon from behind her back - it was a real rocket launcher. The little president stood there, barely holding the bulky bazooka, but her gaze was determined.
"Are you seriously going to shoot me with that toy?" Delia Asia Vieira asked in bewilderment, barely holding back a sarcastic smile.
"I am not joking," Delia York hissed. "This world cannot withstand another war between good and evil. You are the last enemy of the Antichrist, and I will destroy you to save our world from disaster!"
Without waiting for further threats, Delia Asia Vieira quickly analyzed the situation. Fighting a child was not what she had expected, but the president left her no choice.
Delia Asia Vieira rushed forward with lightning speed and, as the girl began to aim, with a sharp movement she snatched a small vial from her pocket. It was a sleeping pill in the form of a pepper spray, which she had picked up earlier in the hospital. She sprayed its contents directly into the girl's face.
"What are you..." Delia York didn't have time to finish her sentence before her eyes rolled back in her head and the bazooka slipped out of her hands, clattering to the ground. She collapsed to the ground, falling asleep.
"I'm sorry, baby," Delia Asia Vieira whispered, picking up the girl and laying her gently on the bench next to her. "I'm sorry you got caught up in all this madness."
After checking that Delia York was breathing steadily and calmly, the robotess rose to her feet and looked around. The carousel was spinning again as if nothing had happened, and strange sounds were coming from all around. But now she had a way to go - the moonlit entrance to the church beckoned her forward.
"Lisa Roselli... I'm coming for you," Delia Asia Vieira whispered, clutching her pistol and running forward, through the park, past the frozen mannequins and flickering lights.
Ahead of her was the church of the Satanist cult, and she knew that this would be the final confrontation. She cautiously entered the old chapel. The stone walls with cracks, covered with moss and cobwebs, seemed to be silent witnesses to all the secrets that were hidden in this place. Dim light penetrated through the stained glass windows, casting ghostly patterns on the floor. The air was thick with the smell of dampness and ancient wax.
In the center of the room, before a massive altar, stood Lisa Roselli. A majestic figure in a black dress with scarlet accents, she looked almost like a priestess ready for sacrifice. In her hands she held an ancient tome with a worn cover, her eyes blazing with a fanatical gleam.
"You came," Lisa said without raising her head. "I knew you couldn't just leave it like that."
Delia Asia Vieira came closer, but stopped a few steps away from Lisa, holding her gun at the ready.
"I met Delia York," said the robotess, watching Lisa's every move carefully. "She claims to be trying to save this world. But I can't tell if it's really her or if someone is using her image. You know she's just a child, Lisa. Why do you submit to her will?"
Lisa slowly looked up, her lips curling into a sarcastic smile.
"Delia York... yes, she looks like an innocent child, but her will is as strong as steel," Lisa said with some bitterness in her voice. "She knows what she wants. And she knows that the world we live in is rotten to the core. You saw it yourself. Is this world worth saving?"
Robotess slowly lowered her gun, her eyes clouded with thoughts.
"The world is imperfect, Lisa. But that's what makes it real. Life is full of suffering, but without it there would be no joy, no love, no desire for something better. You can't just erase all that and create an artificial paradise."
Lisa frowned, her hands clenching on the book as if she was trying to find answers to the questions that were tormenting her.
"You don't understand!" she suddenly cried out, her voice echoing through the vaults of the chapel. "The Antichrist will bring a world without pain or suffering. Eternal peace, eternal happiness. Why are you against it?"
Delia Asia Vieira took a step forward, her gaze hardening.
"You are trying to create a world without pain, Lisa. But don't you understand that it is impossible? Suffering is a part of life. It makes us appreciate what we have. Without darkness, we would not know what light is. Without pain, we would not understand what happiness is."
Lisa froze for a moment, as if her words had made her think. But then she shook her head sharply, her face contorted in despair.
"You don't understand!" she hissed. "I've seen too much suffering. People suffering, dying, living in fear. The Antichrist can stop all this. He promised me a world where there would be no hunger, no pain, no death!"
Delia Asia Vieira came closer, almost touching Lisa's shoulder with her hand, but still stopped.
"But at what price, Lisa?" she asked softly. "Do you want to erase all emotion, all experience, turn the world into a frozen picture? Without struggle, without challenges and losses, life will lose all meaning. Your idea of heaven is actually a prison.
Lisa was silent, her eyes filled with tears. She looked away, as if trying to hide the doubts that were beginning to eat away at her confidence.
"You... you think suffering should be abandoned?" she whispered, her voice shaking. "That a world full of pain and loss is better than the one I can create?"
"I think people should be able to choose how to live," robotess replied with conviction in her voice. "And to take that away from them is to kill the very essence of humanity. They may suffer, but it's their choice, and it makes them stronger."
Lisa lowered her head, her shoulders slumping as if under the weight of realization. But suddenly she looked up, and the fire in her eyes flared up again.
"No," she said firmly. "You won't be able to convince me otherwise. I will go to the end, even if I have to destroy this whole world for the sake of a new order.
Delia Asia Vieira stood in front of Lisa Roselli, breathing heavily. After everything she had heard in that dark chapel, her mind was filled with contradictions. But one thing remained constant: the anger boiling in her chest like hot lava. She clenched her fists, her cold metal fingers creaking.
"You will never be forgiven for what you did, Lisa," the robotess said firmly, her voice like thunder in the silence of the old church. "You killed Robert. My creator. The man who gave me life.
Lisa, standing a few steps away, just grinned. She didn't look remorseful, her eyes sparkled with grim triumph.
"Your creator?" she asked, with a hint of mockery. "He was weak. He didn't understand what this world could expect. All these years he interfered with my plans, and thereby slowed down the inevitable.
Delia Asia Vieira stepped forward, her eyes blazing with a cold fire.
"You say you want to save the world from suffering, but in reality you're only adding more pain and chaos," she paused, holding back the tears that were trying to break through. "You took away the only person who cared about me. Do you think the Antichrist will change the world for the better? But you know what, Lisa..." Her voice shook with rage. "I will never forgive you for this. Never."
Lisa paused for a moment, studying the robotess's face. A shadow of doubt flickered in her gaze, but then she regained her confidence. She took a step back, her black hair fluttering as if alive in the light draft that pierced the old chapel.
"You're so attached to a man who didn't even know what to do with you," Lisa hissed. "Robert tried to play God, but in the end he only created you to be his servant. You could have been so much more." Lisa emphasized her name, as if trying to imply that she knew her better than she did.
"No, Lisa, you're wrong," Delia whispered to Asia Vieira. "Robert gave me freedom, he gave me a chance to live... to be myself. And you? You want to turn everyone into soulless puppets.
And suddenly she felt a strange pain that pierced her body. Her eyes widened in surprise. It was as if an invisible fire had engulfed her from the inside, causing her muscles to contract and her systems to overload. She clutched her chest, trying to comprehend what was happening.
"What... what did you do to me?" she breathed out, struggling to stand on her feet.
Lisa narrowed her eyes and smiled with dark solemnity.
"Oh, it's not me, my dear," she said calmly, retreating toward the chapel's exit. "It's the Antichrist coming. His power is growing, and the world is beginning to change. You feel it, don't you? The pain that's breaking down your mechanical shell. This is only the beginning."
Delia Asia Vieira tried to resist the pain that rolled in waves. Her processors flickered, her systems desperately tried to stabilize her, but the pain only intensified. Lisa, meanwhile, continued to move toward the exit.
"You still can't stop me," Lisa threw one last glance over her shoulder. "Soon the world will be as it should be, and you'll realize that you were on the losing side."
"I... I won't let you destroy everything that's dear to people," robotess squeezed out with difficulty, feeling her voice break from pain.
But Lisa was already disappearing into the darkness, leaving behind only the echoes of her sinister laughter. Delia Asia Vieira fell to her knees, gritting her teeth, her system beeping with warnings. She struggled to her feet, knowing she had to continue on despite the pain.
"Robert..." she thought, raising her head and looking in the direction where Lisa had disappeared. "I'll find her. And stop her. No matter what."
