Chapter 11 - You're Not My Opponen

Instantly, the wind picked up around them both. Siora, who had closed her eyes in fear, opened her eyes and saw Stu staring in the other direction. When Siora followed Stu's gaze, she immediately gasped at who was there.

Right on the branch of the large tree that shaded them was someone Siora recognized, "Axe..." she called softly.

"Hey, low demon, let her go now, or you'll regret it!" said Axe, who now turned to Stu.

"Calling me a lowly demon, who the hell are you?! You're a lowly demon too!" retorted Stu angrily, tightening his grip on Siora's neck.

Axe, known as the Introverted King, rarely showed his face to the public, making many demons not recognize the White Tiger Demon King.

Axe was not angry but only smiled wryly. But no one could see how quickly his sharp nails came out and moved straight towards Stu.

Sraaatt!

One flick of Axe's hand sent Stu flying away from Siora.

Axe walked over to Siora and caressed Siora's bleeding cheek.

A gentle look in his eyes and a charming smile made Siora close her eyes and move.

"Don't cry like this. They will laugh at you and keep bothering you because you look weak in front of their sign," Axe muttered as he wiped away the blood that seemed to flow down to Siora's lips. It appeared to Siora that the long nails on Axe's fingers were gradually shortening magically.

Seeing Axe at that moment made Siora remember Stu's previous sentence.

'Did you just turn me into your people's food, Axe?'

Axe released the grip of his hand on Siora's face when he heard his lover's inner voice. He clenched his hand, which was stained with Siora's blood, furiously.

'Fucking demon. What have you said to my beloved? Bastard!' Axe thought angrily. The White Tiger Demon King turned around to face Stu, who was trying to get up. His one free hand was seen extending his fingernails again.

"How dare you hurt and try to mess with my future wife. You're a lowly, ignorant fox demon!" cursed Axe angrily.

"You keep calling me a lowly demon, but you're a lowly demon yourself. You're so sickening!" Stu cursed Axe while spitting out the green blood that was coming out of his nose until it ran down his lips, "From your smell, you're a tiger demon,"

"Then, what did you say earlier? Wife-to-be? What nonsense! Maybe not many people know that this woman is King Axe's future wife, but I do. And a lowly tiger demon like you is too arrogant and ignorant!" continued Stu, scoffing at Axe without knowing anything.

"Siora is indeed my future wife. Soon, she'll be my bride. But never mind... why would I explain to a lowly demon like you?" said Axe with a smirk.

"How will you understand what I'm telling you? We're of different castes. You are the lowest in your clan, while mine is the highest. All you see is my tiger claws because you only deserve to see my form like this. But..."

Axe stopped his sentence momentarily and spread his hands in front of Stu.

Siora, who was behind Axe, could clearly see two black points of light on Axe's back and slowly released black feathers that formed large wings, almost as big as the trees above them.

"Actually, you don't deserve to see my true power level. But now I think it's necessary to warn you and the little devils here not to keep bothering my bride anymore!"

Wosh!!!

In a single flick, the huge black-feathered wings sent the wind whipping up instantly. Not only was Siora staggered by the wind, but Stu was also knocked back to the ground.

"Y-you're the Tiger Demon Clan Chief? And she is... that means you are...!" said Stu with an astonished face, looking at Axe's large black wings.

"Have you seen how a demon like you is looked down upon with one look? How can you make fun of me when you don't even have your own body to survive? You scum!" Axe said in a calm tone, but Stu could see the golden eyes of a tiger demon ready to pounce on him alive.

"No, King Axe! Please don't destroy me! Don't do that, King!" pleaded Stu, crawling backwards to get away from Axe, who was walking closer to him. "Miss, please forgive me! Please tell King Axe not to kill me, Miss! I'm begging you!" continued Stu, pleading with his terrified shout to Siora, who was behind Axe's black wings.

Siora didn't understand what was happening right now. All she felt now was fear of seeing Axe's figure turn scary.

"Didn't you paint me earlier? Didn't you mock me earlier? It would help if you had realized from the start that you're not my opponent. Haha... Trash still trash!" Axe said angrily.

He extended his hand in front of Stu. Instantly, Stu's body lifted up and floated towards Axe and...Tap! Stu's neck was already instantly in the grip of Axe's hand.

Siora gasped and even screeched in fear, but Axe smiled mockingly at Stu, who was writhing in pain, begging for mercy.

"Mercy, my lord! I'm sorry. Don't kill me, King!" said Stu, struggling to beg for mercy.

"Do you think you'll let me go by begging for forgiveness like this? Of course not!" replied Axe angrily, gripping Stu's neck tighter and lifting the body high.

Along with Stu's screams of pain, thick puffs of black smoke came out of Stu's eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. And when the black smoke could no longer be seen coming out of each hole in Stu's head, the body that had been stretched was now limp and helpless, with its mouth gaping.

Stu's body lay on the ground with a pale face after Axe released his grip. Then Axe turned to face Siora at the same time as the large black wings shrank on his back.

"Don't worry about that guy. He will come to his senses later. I've taken out the demon that used his body to get close to you, and when the demon is out of his body, then his own spirit will return to occupy the body, and he can regain consciousness." Axe explained this to Siora, who looked worried about Stu's condition.

"Instead, you should worry about that cut on your face. You look messed up and will be in trouble if others see your bloody face like this," Axe then touched Siora's face and noticed the wound on the cheek.

"Leave it alone. I'll treat it at the clinic later," refused Siora, who was awkward about being treated with such intensity by Axe. Moreover, the woman was still shocked by everything Axe did in front of her.

"If there's my tongue as a cure, why do you have to go to the clinic, huh?" said Axe with a teasing grin.

"What? You're crazy!" Siora immediately snapped at Axe with her loud voice.

"Shhh... lower your voice, or everyone will come here and see you doing something to that guy," Axe said casually while pulling on his earlobe, which had been buzzing from Siora's loud voice.
