Shockingly, her father did not return home until the next day which meant that he spent his night at Adugo's house. Amarachi stood up from her bed and cracked her joints. The early morning sunrise broke out despite the harmattan season and shone brightly across mud huts in LAIDE. The dew on forest leaves faded of so quickly and the early morning 🐦 birds sang their morning hymns.
Besides,PA Ade came home and knocked on the door. The door opened slightly and he walked in. Amarachi was actually the person that opened the door but she did not expect her father to return so late. Now,he was back, looking at her and smiling. Amarachi did not know what the smile was for but she smiled back. Did her father just spend his night at Adugo's place?. Immediately, she went to her room and knelt beside the bed. She prayed that Amadioha may lead her to Adugo and stop all these nonsense.
She stood up and went back to the parlour and surprisingly, she met her father still standing. She remembered that she had not greeted and knelt down in a gesture of greeting . PA Ade answered her greetings and sat down on his old couch.
Onyinye jerked out of sleep, shout uncontrollably. They all rushed down to the room and found her sweating profusely. She kept on repeating "It was a dream!!!,It was a dream!!!" continuously and it seemed not ti end . PA Ade took decisions and carried her to the Chief priest of LAIDE,EKENSI the second.
The chief priest who was a bald headed, wrinkled and White bearded man who was experiencing his late 80's sat in his shrine, praying to Amadioha when Onyinye and her husband PA Ade arrived .
This was Amarachi 's chance to find about Adugo who she had noticed that her father cherishes and fondles about her beauty.
Amarachi ran to the back of the hut, obviously, to the public toilet. The backyard was littered with dried plantain leaves and smelt very polluted. Despite the smell of the environment, she entered the bathroom and took her bath . When she was done, she went back to the house and 👗 dressed up. She muttered little prayers, which was concerned with her mother's quick recovery and her prowess on finding Adugo. She stood up and started her journey.
She walked through a dark path that consisted of bushes by its sides. She walked further and further until she got to a fence.
