Time passed, and morning finally arrived. While I slept in the deepest part of the cave, near the dragon eggs, Vayrënna and Kaelith had rested closer to the entrance, in a spot that kept them sufficiently protected from the weather and any threats but far enough from the chamber holding the eggs. I still wasn't ready to expose them to anyone.
Before Estalyrion appeared on the horizon, I had already gotten up to prepare everything needed for Kaelith and Vayrënna's departure. I crafted water flasks made of Thalbûren and a few Thalvarýn bags for both of them. I also made blankets and ropes from Thalvarýn threads, items that could be useful during their journey to find their friends. Lastly, I went to the lake to catch some fish while they were still sleeping, then lit a fire to cook the fish and boil water for them.
