Bonnie and Benjamin's passionate encounter finally subsided as the doorbell pierced the air. They exchanged a glance, and Benjamin replied, "I might have ordered pizza this morning."
Bonnie's face flushed as she hastily got dressed. She rushed downstairs, still trying to tame her tangled hair. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see Drake standing there, holding a pizza.
"Drake!" Bonnie exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"
Drake nodded. "My parents forced me to get a job, so I'm delivering pizzas now. They're cutting me off if I don't start earning my allowance."
Bonnie burst out laughing. "That's hilarious!"
Drake's expression turned stern. "It's not funny, Bonnie."
Bonnie apologized, still chuckling. "Sorry, sorry. Does Lucas know about your new job?"
Drake nodded. "Yeah, he's the one who got me the job."
Benjamin appeared behind Bonnie, and she briefly introduced them. "Drake, this is Ben, my boyfriend."
Drake shook Benjamin's hand. "I'm Drake."
Benjamin smiled, his eyes gleaming with warmth.
After handing over the pizza to Bonnie, Drake collected his payment and departed in his pizza truck.
As the door closed, Bonnie's face flushed with a radiant smile. She opened the pizza box, releasing the savory aroma into the air.
"I still want more of you before the pizza," she said, her voice husky with desire.
Benjamin's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Really?"
Bonnie nodded, her eyes locked on his. "Yes."
She slowly began to undress, her movements sensual and inviting. Benjamin's gaze followed hers, his desire reigniting.
They surrendered to their passion, losing themselves in another round of intense lovemaking. Finally, they sat down to enjoy their pizza, the tension between them solid.
As they finished their meal, Bonnie's expression turned serious. "I'm so glad you came into my life, Benjamin."
Benjamin's smile was genuine, his eyes warm with affection. "I'm happy, too, Bonnie."
Benjamin gave Bonnie a gentle kiss before standing up and heading upstairs to get dressed. Bonnie was left alone downstairs, her gaze drifting to her wrist. She noticed a strange injury — a bite mark.
Frowning, Bonnie tried to recall how she got the injury, but her memories drew a blank. She stood up and walked back upstairs, entering her room. She approached the mirror, adjusting her hair, and that's when she saw it — the same bite mark on her neck.
Bonnie's curiosity turned to suspicion. She racked her brain, trying to remember how she got the injuries, but her memories remained hazy. A shiver ran down her spine as she wondered what could have happened.
Elijah and Esther stepped into Mr. Bill's bustling bar, the air thick with the smell of liquor and laughter. Elijah spotted Lucas engrossed in a game of snooker with friends and waved, receiving a friendly wave in return.
He settled into an empty chair, and Esther announced, "I'll get us some drinks." She made her way to the bar, where the bartender greeted her warmly.
"Esther, darling! What can I get you tonight?"
"A vodka martini, please," Esther replied with a smile. The bartender expertly mixed her drink and handed it over. "And two cups, please," Esther added, collecting the cups and returning them to Elijah.
She set the cups on the table and poured the drink, handing one to Elijah. He took a sip, his eyes scanning the crowded bar.
They sipped their drinks in comfortable silence until Georgina and Bonnie walked into the bar. Bonnie put on a scarf around her neck to cover her bite mark and wore something so long to cover the one on her wrist. Spotting them, the girls made their way over, sliding into seats beside Elijah.
Georgina made the introductions. "Bonnie, this is Esther, Elijah's twin sister."
Bonnie's eyes widened in shock. "You're kidding me, right?" she asked, her voice laced with incredulity.
Elijah chuckled. "No, she's not kidding," he said with a smile.
Esther handed her cup to Bonnie. "Would you like a drink?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with warmth.
Bonnie accepted the cup, still looking amazed. "Yes, thank you… I'm still in shock."
The night's darkness was shattered by a blood-curdling scream from outside. Patrons of the bar rushed out to investigate, leaving some bewildered and frightened inside.
Elijah and his friends joined the crowd outside, where they were met with a gruesome sight: a lifeless woman lay on the ground, her head ripped from her body. Before they could process the horror, another body fell from above, its heart torn out.
Bonnie's scream pierced the air. "What's happening?" she cried, her voice trembling with fear.
Elijah's eyes scanned the surroundings, his gaze locking onto a shadowy figure lurking behind him. He turned to see Benjamin walking into the bar, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity. Elijah followed him, his senses on high alert.
Georgina is ready to follow Elijah. However, Esther grasped her arm, her voice low and urgent. "Don't go, Georgina. I'll need your help here."
Elijah's anger boiled over as he confronted Benjamin in the bar. "You shouldn't have done that!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls.
Benjamin remained silent, his eyes fixed on Mr. Bill as he compelled him to serve a drink. "Leave the bar for the night," Benjamin instructed, his voice low and menacing.
Elijah stood beside Benjamin, demanding answers. "Tell me, why are you doing this?"
Benjamin's laughter sent chills down Elijah's spine. "I'm making your life miserable, and I'm going to enjoy every single moment."
Mr. Bill handed Benjamin his drink and scurried out, "What do you gain from this, Benjamin?" Elijah asked, his voice firm.
Benjamin's smile twisted into a snarl. "I'm making up for the 30 years you never cared about me."
Elijah's eyes narrowed, his gaze flicking to the flashing police lights gathering outside. "I'm so sorry, Benjamin. We never knew what you were going through."
Benjamin's laughter cut through the air. "No, no, no. This can't work, Elijah. You don't expect me to accept your apology, do you?"
Elijah's face darkened. "Benjamin, please—"
Benjamin interrupted, his voice dripping with malice. "By the way, I'm enjoying my stay in Oakdale. Bonnie has been a wonderful girlfriend."
Elijah's eyes widened in horror. "Bonnie?" Elijah exclaimed. "Stay away from her!"
Benjamin's smile grew wider. "Where do you think I've been staying, Elijah? Bonnie accommodated me."
Elijah's anger reached a boiling point. "You don't have to hurt her, Benjamin. Bonnie is my friend. Please leave her alone. We'll accommodate you."
Benjamin's laughter sent shivers down Elijah's spine. "I don't need your home, Elijah. And note this: when I'm done with Bonnie, I'm coming for your sexy Georgina. She'll taste superb."
The bar door swung open, and the sheriff walked in, his eyes scanning the room. "Is everyone okay in here?" he asked his voice firm but concerned.
Benjamin immediately transformed into a frightened bystander. "Y-yes, sheriff. I'm so terrified. Those two people just… just dropped dead like that."
Elijah wasn't fooled by Benjamin's fake act. He watched with a mixture of disgust and concern as Benjamin played the part of a traumatized witness.
The sheriff reassured them, "Don't worry, we'll get to the bottom of this. Why don't you all go home and get some rest?"
"T-thank you," Benjamin thanked the sheriff profusely and quickly made his exit. Elijah followed slowly, keeping a wary eye on Benjamin's retreating.
Once outside, Elijah scanned the crowd, searching for Georgina and Esther. But they were nowhere to be seen. He hoped they were safe and that Benjamin hadn't already struck again.
With a growing sense of unease, Elijah walked away from the scene, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.
