Bryson's gaze was firm into Aurora's brown eyes as they sat together in the dimly lit room. They had been talking for hours, trying to make sense of the strange connection they felt. But as they sat there, something strange began to happen. The air around them seemed to thicken, and the shadows on the walls began to twist and writhe. Aurora's eyes widened as she felt a strange sensation wash over her. It was as if she was being pulled back in time, years back, to a place she had never known but was familiar with but can't recall.
And then, suddenly, she was there. She was standing in a beautiful garden, surrounded by flowers and trees that seemed to stretch up to the sky, the laminating sunset was a beauty to behold from the garden. A young man was standing in front of her, his eyes locked onto hers. He was tall and handsome, with piercing brown eyes that seemed to see right through her. "Aurora," he said, his voice low and husky. "My love, and my life". Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she realized who the young man was. It was Bryson, but not as she knew him. This was a younger, more carefree version of the man she loved.
As she looked into his eyes, she felt a rush of memories flood through her mind. She remembered meeting Bryson in that very garden, over 500 years ago. She remembered the way he had smiled at her, the way he had taken her hand and pulled her close. And she instantly remembered the way she had died, the way her life had been cut short by a cruel twist of fate. But as she looked into Bryson's eyes, she realized that their love had transcended time and death. They had been given a second chance by a deity, a chance to relive their love, a second love, at second sight and make it last.
"Aurora," Bryson said, his voice low and husky. "I've been searching for you for so long. I never thought I'd find you again." Aurora's heart melted as she looked into his eyes. She knew that she had found her soulmate, her one true love. And as they leaned in to kiss, Aurora knew that their love would last forever.
But she also remembered the tragedy that had torn them apart.
"Bryson," she said her voice barely above a whisper. "I remember now. I remember how I died." Bryson's eyes clouded over, and he took a step closer to her. "What do you remember? Tell me", he asked, his voice low and urgent.
Aurora's eyes closed, and she took a deep breath. "I remember that we were living in a small village," she said. "We were happy, but there was a darkness growing in the shadows all of a sudden, the clouds became thick and foggy. A darkness that threatened to destroy everything we held dear." Bryson's eyes narrowed, and he took another step closer to her. "What darkness?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.
Aurora's eyes opened, and she looked up at Bryson. "It was Damien," she said. "He was a powerful sorcerer, and he had a vendetta against us. He was determined to destroy us, to tear us apart." Bryson's face twisted in anger, and he clenched his fists. "I should have protected you," he said. "I should have kept you safe." Aurora's eyes filled with tears, and she reached out to touch Bryson's face. "You did everything you could," she said. "But Damien was too powerful. He cast a spell that was too strong for us to break." Bryson's eyes closed, he was suddenly drawn to the past, and he took a deep breath. "I remember now," he said. "I remember the spell that Damien cast. It was a spell of death, a spell that was meant to tear us apart forever."
Aurora's eyes filled with tears, and she nodded. "Yes," she said. "That's the spell that killed me. But somehow, I was reincarnated. I was given a second chance at life." Bryson's eyes opened, and he looked at Aurora with a mixture of wonder and gratitude. "You were given a second chance," he said. "And I was given a second chance to find you, to love you again."
Aurora's heart melted at Bryson's words, and she reached out to touch his face. "I'm so glad we found each other again," she said. "I'm so glad we have a second chance at love."
Aurora's eyes fluttered closed as she felt herself being pulled back in time again. She saw a vision of a grand, sprawling castle, with towers and turrets that seemed to stretch up to the sky.
She saw herself as a child, playing in the castle gardens with two other children. They were laughing and chasing each other, their faces alight with joy.
As Aurora watched closely, she couldn't help but notice that her past siblings were Scarlet and Caspian and they had grown up together in the castle. But as the vision continued, Aurora saw a darker side of their childhood. She saw their parents, the king and queen, arguing and fighting. She saw the castle being attacked by dark forces, and she saw her parents sacrificing themselves to save their children but the sudden force against the castle was too strong by a sorceress. Aurora's eyes snapped open, and she felt a wave of grief wash over her.
She wanted to find out who killed her parents, and why? She had forgotten about her past, her family, and her childhood. But now, the memories were flooding back like a gushing river. Bryson's eyes locked onto hers, and he took her hand. "Aurora, what's wrong?" he asked. Aurora took a deep breath, trying to process her emotions. "I remembered my past," she said. "I remembered my family, my childhood. I remembered everything." Bryson's eyes widened in surprise, and he pulled her into his arms. "I'm so sorry, Aurora," he said. "I had no idea you had forgotten your past."
Aurora's eyes closed, and she felt a wave of sadness wash over her. "I didn't forget," she said. "I was made to forget. Someone cast a spell on me, erasing my memories of my past." Bryson's eyes narrowed, and he pulled back from Aurora. "Who did it?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.
Aurora's eyes opened, and she looked up at Bryson. "I don't know," she said. "But I'm going to find out.". "can you try recalling back to the past to find out," he inquired, " let me try," she said, taking a deep breath in and then out, she closed her eyes firmly and went back to the past, all she saw was a blurry figure, quite masculine standing in front of her, she was still her little self just a bit grown, that unfaithful day she was lost on the cold mere road while calling for help, she stumbled upon something that changes her life completely till her death bed.
The atmosphere was all foggy and thick so it was hard for her to see the person but she had a strong guess about who it was, " who's there", she called, but no response, all she could hear was murmuring sounds or more like an eternal spell being cast, just then she grasped his face and it was,.., she blacked out there, "Aurora, are you okay," Bryson said as she suddenly fell to his arms," yeah I'm fine" she replied, " don't use up yourself too much, did you find your killer", he asked his question was piqued, "no, I did not", she added.
